Short YouTube episode (Coffee Talk) by Mark J. Podolsky discussing how wording in self-talk affects productivity—contrasting limiting language (“I can’t”) with empowering language (“I don’t”). He demonstrates using “I don’t” statements to create habits (e.g., “I don’t miss a workout”), and ends with promotional calls-to-action for TheLandGeek resources (Passive Income Blueprint, podcast, videos).

Hey, it's Mark Podolski, the Lane geek. Thanks for spending some time with me for another episode of Coffee Talk. So this morning I was reading a very interesting article on Lifehacker.com about how the self talk that we tell ourselves can make a huge difference in our lives, especially when it comes to our productivity. And the words we tell ourselves is when we say I can't versus I don't. So so when you say I can't do something, I can't work out today, I cannot take that phone call. I can't respond to that text right now. These little things that we tell ourselves make a huge difference in our lives because when we say I can't do something, it's much more limiting than when we tell ourselves. And this is the magic words. You can write it down if you want, but you'll probably remember it is I don't. I don't miss a workout. I don't let myself become distracted when I'm in the middle of a project. So I don't take that phone call and I don't take that text at that time. I respond to those inquiries at this time during my day on the calendar. So I can't is limiting. I don't is empowering.
