Hey, it's Mark Podolski, the lane Geek with thelanegeek.com let's have another virtual cup of coffee together. So what I've been seeing with many of my newbie students is the challenge of creating the marriage between enthusiasm and education, right? So what happens when you first get started with a program like the Investors Toolkit is you have all this enthusiasm. You've got tons of it, you can't wait to get started, passive income, more money, it's going to be fun doing deals, and then all of a sudden you realize, oh, there's a lot to learn. I've got to learn due diligence and I have to learn deal flow, and then I have to learn marketing and closing and management systems. There's a learning curve. And what happens is all that enthusiasm that you had when you first got started begins to diminish. And as soon as you get kicked in the mouth on your first deal, which inevitably is going to happen because something is not going to happen smoothly, you get kicked around and all of a sudden you're going to hit that wall and you're like, oh, is this really worth it? Yes. And so that's the whole point of having a support system and a mentor and a group you can go to is that when that happens, there's someone there to pick you up and keep that enthusiasm going. So if you're out there on your own doing it all by yourself, it starts to happen, it starts to wane. And you just have to realize that if you know that going in, it also makes it easier as well.
