Hey, it's Mark Podolski, the lane Geek from thelanegeek.com let's have another virtual cup of coffee together. So I just finished a big road trip. First I went to Austin and then Philadelphia and went to a ski resort, Bear Mountain Ski Resort in Macunjee, Pennsylvania. Anyways, the first time I was in Philadelphia, it was great. The first time I actually was a speaker at investing conference. So I got some great experience speaking and I got to meet really some amazing people that came from all walks of life all over the country. They flew in to learn more about tax lien and tax deed investing, everyone from newbies to seasoned professional investors. And what I thought was interesting about that was I was reading a book from Carol Dweck, Mindset. And so people either have a fixed mindset or a growth mindset. So a fixed mindset is for example, you're struggling in math and like a kid will say I'm just bad at math. Or you'll hear adults say I'm just bad at math. A growth mindset looks at it differently. They're struggling on that same math problem and they'll say I'm struggling with this subset, let's say it's algebra of math. So it has nothing to do with them or their self worth, anything like that. They're not bad at math. They're just struggling with this one particular problem and they're going to work harder on it and they're going to do their best and go on from there. So I highly recommend this is my tip of the day is read mindset from Carol Dweck because it really can be the difference between success and failure in life is just the way that you look things and the way the self talk that you say to yourself.
