Luck is not a Long Term Strategy

Hey, it's Mark Podolski, the Land geek with the landgeek.com let's have another Virtual cup of Coffee together so I was talking to a coaching student of mine yesterday and he's doing great. He's got five deals in, but he was comparing himself to some of my other students that are popping deals left and right and want to know was he doing anything wrong? And the answer is no, not at all. In fact, I could argue that he has a better long term business strategy because he's invested in the mentorship compared to somebody that is doing well right out of the gate. If you're good in the beginning, another word for that could just be luck, right? Luck is not a long term strategy. So if you're popping deals right from the get go, that's great, that's great. But you also have to have all these other things in place and you need to have a strategy to continue doing this month in, month out and having those systems in place so that you're working on the business and not in the business.
