Mark J. Podolsky (the 'Land Geek') explains Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad, Poor Dad principle—prioritizing assets over liabilities—and applies it to land investing. He argues a primary goal is building passive income through assets (land, real estate, stocks, bonds) and emphasizes land's accessibility, describing how he began investing with $3,000 at tax-sale auctions. The clip ends with a call-to-action to his program (artofthelandslip.com) and a free 15-minute consultation phone number.

Hey, it's Mark the Land Geek again and I want to talk a little bit about Robert Kiyosaki's rich dad, poor dad philosophy and how that actually applies to my program. You know, the rich dad, poor dad philosophy focuses on a couple of major themes. And the first major theme he talks about is acquiring assets over liabilities. He considers a house actually a liability in the sense that a house has to have so much maintenance to maintain and you're living in it and it's not really something that you acquire for an investment. And if you bought a house in 2004 through 2008, then you know exactly what he was talking about. So a house is really a liability. However, he considers assets investments like real estate, land, stocks, bonds. Those types of investments can actually bring you money, either actively or passively. And in the rich dad, poor dad philosophy, he really wants you to focus on passive income. And I think it's a fantastic way to start building your net worth and growing your financial intelligence, if you will, by focusing on these types of assets. So what makes land so special is the sense that you don't need a million dollars or $500,000 to actually get started. I actually got started with $3,000 picking up really inexpensive lots at a tax sale auction. And it's really pretty amazing what you can do with a very little bit amount of money once you start applying these principles with land. And I talk a lot about it in my program, artofthelandslip.com so if you want to learn more about how you can easily get into land investments which are assets, and flip those assets for a quick profit, but also create passive notes with those with those assets, then certainly give me a call. 800-428-3760.
