Hey, it's Mark Podolski, the lane Geek with thelandgeek.com let's have another virtual cup of coffee together. So I'm talking to one of my coaching students, Stephen, and he's kind of in a weird funk in a way, because he's kind of hit a wall with getting the list and scrubbing the list and just feeling kind of inadequate. A little bit of hopelessness with the business. And this happens with everyone that tries something new for the first time. You don't have that feeling of competence, right? And we all have that drive, that desire for a feeling of mastery. If you watch children playing and they'll just keep practicing and practicing until they get it and they get it and then they get it, and it's like the greatest thing in the world and they want to show you, and they're so proud of themselves as adults. This kind of goes away because we feel like the stakes are higher, that if we fail, well, then I'm a failure and can't live like that. Or, you know, in reality, the stakes are never really that high. I mean, let's face it, unless you're, you know, diffusing a bomb, the stakes really aren't typically going to be that high. So especially in the land business. So what's really going on is that he's trying to avoid that feeling of not feeling competent. And the only way to get to the other side of that is to keep going and to know that embedded within the structure of success is going to be a little bit of failure. Right, We've talked about that. So. And the only way to get competent at it is just to do it and go for it. Well, sure enough, the next day after having this talk, he got it, sent out his offers, and his deal flow is going to be fantastic.
