A short YouTube "Coffee Talk" by Mark J. Podolsky (The Land Geek) reflecting on the idea that some people fear success more than failure, inspired by the book "The War of Art." He applies this insight to new land investors who may unconsciously dread how success will change relationships and comfort zones. The video concludes with CTAs to TheLandGeek website, a free Passive Income Blueprint, a free ebook on avoiding common land-buying mistakes, and the Land Geek podcast.

Hey, it's Mark Podolski, the Lane geek. Let's have a virtual cup of coffee together. So this morning I already had two cups and I already filmed a coffee talk video. Drank all that coffee. And if I have a third cup, I'm just gonna be completely wired. So you drink your coffee. I'll watch. It's fine. So I'm reading this book called the War of Art by Steven Pressman. Steven Pressman is a novelist. He wrote the screenplay, or I should say, yeah, the screenplay for Legend of Bagger Vance. And it was really interesting. He was saying that artists, creative people, they are more scared of success than they are of failure. It made me think about people who are just getting started with the land business because I get emails and people are scared, you know, they're going to make an investment, they're going to make a time investment to do this. And I think in the back of their heads, what they're really afraid of is the success of it. What happens when they start doing really well? Because suddenly, I think they know unconsciously their friends are going to change, their family are going to change because you've changed. And now that dynamic is different and it's uncomfortable. And it's just one of those things anytime we step outside of our comfort zone and other people will have a reaction to it. So look inside. See, am I really afraid of success?
