Hey, it's Mark Podolski, the Lane Geek. Let's have another virtual cup of coffee together. It's kind of getting cold out here in Scottsdale, Arizona. You can tell by the video it's getting a little cloudy. So one of my favorite Steve Jobs quotes is that life or time is limited, so don't spend it living someone else's life. And I want you to take stock and sort of examine, okay, why am I doing what I'm doing right now? If you're working in a job you hate, why are you doing it? Is it out of obligation? Are you getting some type of ego pleasure out of it? Like, it's a great title, even though I'm working 60 hours a week and I'm miserable, but it sounds good at parties. Is it what my parents wanted me to do? So why is it you're doing what you're doing or kind of like a pinball and just kind of getting bounced around here to there without any conscious effort? This is something that I love to do and it's going to get me to my goals. So I want you to know that it does take courage. It does take a tolerance, if you will, to feel uncomfortable, to step out of your comfort zone and try something new, whether it's real estate or my investors toolkit, whatever it may be. It's hard and you kind of need to acknowledge it and take some time and just say, okay, this is not easy, but I'm going to do it anyways because this is going to help me achieve my goals no matter what it is. So for this coffee talk, I want you to really think about why you're doing what you're doing, what led you to get to where you are now, and is this the path that's going to get you to where you want to be? And if it's not, step off that path as soon as possible and start living boldly.
