Hey, it's Mark Podolski, the lane Geek with thelanegeek.com let's have another virtual cup of coffee together. So I was just reading a book by Ryan Holiday, the Obstacle is the Way. I have to tell you, it really reminded me of one of my coaching students, Chris. He's a pilot in San Diego and he just started. And when you first start investing in land, your first obstacle is getting a good list from the county. And I have to tell you, it's tough. It's the first obstacle everybody encounters. What's interesting about Chris, and it really made me think of this book, the Obstacle is the Way is that instead of being frustrated by it and thinking, oh, this is too hard and wanting to quit, he actually sees it as an opportunity. His enthusiasm for the obstacle is unbelievable. I mean, he's emailing how excited he is because he's like, I thought this business was so simple and now I see there's obstacles and it makes me appreciate, appreciate the fact that there's these barriers to entry and it reduces the competition, which is absolutely correct. So he's reframing the obstacle. But more than that, after he reframes the obstacle as an opportunity, he's taking action. He's being creative about it. He's looking other ways to get the list and scrub the list and go forward. And his will is unbelievable. So he's combining the three things, which is what they talk about in this book, the obstacles away. Number one, he reframes the obstacle as an opportunity. Number two, he takes action. And number three, he continues with his action, with his will. He's not going to quit until he gets that good list. So there you go.
