Mark J. Podolsky (The Land Geek) delivers a short, conversational YouTube monologue arguing that motivation from high-energy speakers (Tony Robbins, Brendon Burchard) is useful but not sufficient for success in buying and selling raw land. He contrasts motivation-only approaches with the need for tactical skills—how to make and structure offers, conduct due diligence—and recommends combining both. He cites a coaching-student anecdote, gives practical encouragement that results build motivation (e.g., seeing a $10,000 land-flip check), and ends with CTAs to his resources: a Passive Income Blueprint, an ebook on avoiding three fatal land-buying mistakes, and the Land Geek podcast.

Finished off my to agave Americano. I had to rush out this morning with my son getting into school and missed out on my wonderful bulletproof coffee. Anyways, Starbucks has me wired. And I want to talk about motivation, right? Like Tony Robbins, I think has the best job or career or whatever in the world, or Brendon Bouchard. Any of these high energy motivational guys have it made. You go in and you get pumped up and you buy their books or their videos. You go to one of these seminars and you love them, they're phenomenal. And you walk out of there and you think you can take on the world and you can do anything. I just got an email from one of my coaching students. He just went out to a motivational seminar. He's back. He's ready to start making offers and really go full force into buying and selling raw land. Yeah, but that's the difference is that you can have all the motivation in the world. But if you don't know what you're doing, how to make offers, how to structure an excellent offer, how to do due diligence, all the motivation in the world isn't going to help you. Now, on the other flip side of that coin, if you have all the tactical things going right, you can do those things and then you're internally motivated because you see the results of that. So not putting those guys down. I think feeling great is great and motivation is great. And if you combine the two, that's ideal. But one without the other doesn't work, right? Motivation without any of the knowledge on how to actually go out and achieve your goals doesn't really help you at all. Okay? But you can still go out and achieve goals even if you're a little motivated, because you'll become more motivated as you start seeing results like, holy cow, I just got a check here for $10,000 on a land flip. I'm going to go out and do this again. And you become more motivated. You don't need to go and go to a Tony Robbins seminar anyways. That's my rant for this morning with my Coffee Talk.
