A short, informal YouTube monologue by Mark J. Podolsky (the Land Geek) asking viewers to clarify core priorities and decide what they are willing to give up to pursue a new business. He shares his personal example: while holding a full-time job he worked on land investing seven days a week, made time sacrifices, and was able to quit his job within 18 months to earn passive income. He closes with a call-to-action to visit www.thelandgeek.com and download free resources (Passive Income Blueprint, an ebook on land-buying mistakes, and a weekly podcast).

Hey, it's Mark Podolski, the land Geek with www.thelandgeek.com. let's have another virtual cup of coffee together. I just had my bulletproof coffee, so now I'm just having a little Americano here. So I want to ask you about your priorities. How do you decide them? So have you sat down with your spouse, your significant other, yourself and asked, what are my core values? What are my core priorities in life? We only have so much time in life, right? There's only so many hours that we get to spend on this planet. We don't know how long that's going to be. So what's really the most important thing to us? And really come up with a plan. So for example, let's say you're job that you're not loving, right? And your core priority might be making more money, spending more time with family, whatever it is, and you're thinking about starting a new business venture, you need to come up with an idea, a strategy, a plan of saying, okay, if I'm going to do this, I'm going to quit my job in how many months? What am I willing to give up? So when I started my land investing business, I worked seven days a week. Seven days. Now it wasn't eight hours a day because I already had a full time job, but I worked on it every single day and stayed focused on it. And I gave up a lot of time that I could have been spending with my family to launch that business and eventually quit my job in 18 months. So if you're going to start a new venture, you need to kind of decide, okay, what are my most important priorities? What am I willing to give up and go from there. So yeah, I made that initial exchange when I first started, but now today I'm sitting out here in my backyard and I, you know, getting checks passively every month so that I can enjoy life a little bit more. And if you want to learn more about how you can do this yourself, go to www.thelandgeek.com download for free the Passive Income Blueprint.
