One of the most important things you want them to do is you want them to focus on your core business. Irregardless of what happens outside in the world, right? You have the culture of your company which took years to build and you're extremely proud of it. Also, your competitors are a threat. Ask Walmart. They were the largest retailer in the world August 2021. Now Amazon, a company 20 years ago that started in a single room by a guy named Jeff, right? Why is partnering on innovation important? It's because your innovation partner will will let you focus and continue to focus on your core business. And what they will provide you is they will connect the dots of your organization to the outside world. And most importantly, they'll provide options before crisis happens and will give you solutions during a crisis. Partnering on innovation is a strategic move that you should be making right now.
