MEXICO PUERTO VALLARTA | Vlog

Hi everyone, it's Tilly. We are on the plane right now and I'm heading to Mexico where I'm going to be speaking at another SingularityU event. I skipped all the airport footage because I've done quite a lot of vlogs now and all the airport stuff is always the same. It's always stressful, it's always just airport, so I thought we could skip that and just go straight to it. But we're on the plane right now. We're first going to Paris, then we're going to New Mexico, and then we're going to the place where I'm actually doing the summit, so we've got 3 planes that are all connected. Can I just add, it's 6:10 in the morning right now, so I have no idea why I've got so much energy, but I think it's just excitement. I'm really excited to get there. I've run through my presentations, everything's all good, but we're gonna go.

So since I am homeschooled, this is what I usually do on my flights. I print out all my worksheets, so anything that's printable, or if it's something I've got to read, then I'll copy and paste paste it and then print it all out. But I've got a bit of business to do, so I bring my business book along, pencil, pen, and I'll usually sit and do this on the plane. I put on my work any chance I get. So while I'm still like doing my speaking and that in other countries, if we have some spare time in airports, or I find on the planes a really great time to get this done as I don't want to fall behind. But yeah, I'm just gonna do some business and I'll get back to you probably when we're about to land.

Hi everyone, uh, we're here in Mexico.

It's turning to midnight right now.

I've had a shower, I'm in bed.

I'm gonna eat some chocolate because why not, and see if we can watch a movie or something, or just get a good night's rest because because we have got the rehearsal tomorrow, but it's not until quarter to 3, I believe, in the afternoon, so it's not too bad. We don't have to wake up early or anything, but we do want to wake up for breakfast anyway. Um, but this hotel is absolutely beautiful. We're staying at the West Inn. It's right on the beach and there's a pool and all sorts, so hopefully I'll get down to the pool tomorrow. Before rehearsal, and yeah, that'll be fun. And then we met the lady who was running the whole event here in Mexico, Singularity U, and she was telling us that we had to do all these things, like good things, like how the turtles, like the babies, are starting to go into the sea and that, and that happens here. It's a very popular place for that to happen here. So she said just go down the pier and you'll see them all like running in the water together, which sounds really cute. So I definitely hope we'll get to see that. I'm gonna get to the beach at one point because it's literally just outside the door. So if you have that, then why not use it, you know? But I'm absolutely shattered, so I'm gonna get some sleep and I'll speak to you all in the morning. I've just woke up, but can we talk about how beautiful this is.

The hotel literally just backs onto the sea, as you can see there, which we've just found out is the Pacific Ocean because we were trying to figure it out. And turns out the Caribbean is on the east and the Pacific on the west. So it's really pretty. We're gonna go try it out later on, but there's the pool there, and I'm gonna get ready.

Hi everyone, so my hair is wet because we've been in the pool. Now we are sat in the lobby and we're going to be going to the hair salon to add some layers on presentation, see if everything's done well. Talk to me about whatever all works, and it was just great.

So we're just going to rehearse that now, basically just get everything all together before the day that I'm actually going to be doing the presentation tomorrow.

Didn't go as smoothly as we would have liked it to because like the videos weren't working. They weren't sent as MP4 even though that's what they were in the presentation. For some reason they went through as like just an image PNG file, I guess that's what they said. So I'm not really sure what happened there. So we've had to go home and download them all as MP4 files again, and I'm sending them across now to the people, and we're gonna go back at half 8 later on to do rehearsal again to make sure that they actually work. But at least we actually went to the rehearsal today, because if we hadn't, that would have been an absolute nightmare. So I'm really happy that we went. We wouldn't have not went— that's just a recipe for disaster if you don't go to the rehearsal, I think. But yeah, but it's all sorted now. And then hopefully, if we have time, we want to go see the turtles, because here in Mexico they walk into the see all the little baby turtles. So that'll be really nice to see. It kind of just depends whether this transfers in time. So yeah, I'll give you an update later on. All sent, everything's good. Well, I hope so. I have told them to give us an email if they have them and they're working, but we have done our part of the job and sent them across and it says you're all done. So hopefully it'll be all good. And now we're going to head down to see the turtles, which I'm really excited about. Hi, I don't know if you can see me right now because it's really dark, but you can hear me. So we've just released the turtles. You would have just seen there if you caught the live on my Instagram that I did, then you would have saw. But I've took a bunch of videos, so I'll— you'll have seen that now. And now we're all just heading to dinner because it looks a lot later than it is. It's only 5 to 7, but Yeah, we're gonna go have some dinner and then we've got to go back to rehearsal. But that was such an amazing experience and it was so cute and they made it. Hi everyone, so today I'm going and speaking on stage alongside all the other speakers today. It's a 2-day event, so they're doing it tomorrow as well. But we woke up really early this morning. We woke up at like 6 AM, but I'm actually not that tired at all. I've got a bunch of energy, so that's good. But I ran through my presentation, it's good. We fixed the videos, thank the Lord. So that's all working, and now I'm just really excited to get on stage, really. I'm on just like when the morning's ending, just before the break at like 11 or something like that. But yeah, here we go. I'm excited.

We're just heading down now to see the last couple of presentations, but that's it really.

We're going to be back tomorrow, although we're not speaking, just to see everything with him because it's a lot of rugby in here. We're heading back down to the event for day 2.

Hi everyone, so I've been in the shower.

We left the event, um, to like go home and go in the shower. The camera is a bit steamed up, sorry about that. But now we are just heading down to the hotel around the pool and stuff, and I think we're just gonna get like a mock-up cocktail or something before the party, but it's going to be like the grand finale party tonight, so I'm really excited for that. It's just at the convention center, but apparently they've brought in this band from like Mexico City. They've flew them in, so they must be pretty good. But I'm really excited to see everyone because we're just wrapping it all up, so it'll be great. Singularity U always pull it out the bag, whichever country you're in.
