MY ANNUAL HALLOWEEN PHOTOSHOOT! Bringing CRUELLA's garbage dress to life ;)

In this vlog, Tilly Lockey takes viewers through her third‑year, fully‑planned Halloween photoshoot inspired by the new Cruella film. She explains her fascination with the movie’s fashion‑forward, futuristic aesthetic and how it aligns with her long‑standing interest in technology, bionic arms, and prosthetics as style statements. Unlike previous years, Tilly does her own makeup, documenting a time‑lapse of the process while listening to the Cruella soundtrack. The shoot features three distinct looks, beginning with an all‑black outfit on a misty moor, followed by a colder, minimal‑clothing scene, and culminating in a custom “garbage dress” created by local designer Susie in a junkyard setting. Throughout, Tilly shares personal reflections on the future of fashion‑tech, interacts with family members, and encourages viewers to view the final photos on her Instagram, ending with the usual YouTube call‑to‑action.

Hey everyone, it's Tilly and welcome back to my YouTube channel. I wasn't actually intending on filming this video, that's why I've got glue on my eyebrows, they're a little bit fluffier than usual. Something I do every year is put a lot of thought and effort into a Halloween costume. I love Halloween so much, so it's honestly just so much fun for me. This is the third time that I've been taking it quite seriously now. If you follow me on Instagram, you've probably seen the previous two. I was like Cyborg, um, with like wires coming out my arm And then I did like a clown kind of look. And today, for this Halloween, I'm gonna be doing Cruella. If anybody has seen the new Cruella film, it's really cool and it's heavily influenced by fashion and things, which is something that I'm really interested in. Today I'm gonna be taking you with me on this Halloween annual photoshoot, which I'm so excited for. The whole kind of team is coming to our house in a little bit. Every year so far I've had like a makeup artist, but this year I'm not, uh, so I'm gonna have to try and do it myself. She's basically got this kind of mask on that says the future. So me and my family actually went to see Cruella, the new film, at the cinema when it came out. I loved it, like, I enjoyed it so much. And as soon as I saw that and saw how, like, fashion-based it was, and that she actually had an outfit with the face paint that said future, like, I thought, okay, that's what connects me to this film because I talk about technology in the future all the time. I was really intrigued by this whole idea of the future. The way I look at it, I feel like bionic arms and fashion and technology are going to come like hand in hand a lot more in the future, and that's going to be like a huge fashion trend that we're going to see. Seeing all this futuristic fashion in a movie like Cruella, which has a very large audience— loads of people went to see it and it was very successful— it just kind of made sense. And it's really exciting for me to put my own spin on it, but also I just feel like that film's kind of pathing the way for the future, which I'm really excited for. I've always thought technology and bionic arms and prosthetics, even though they are medical devices, they can actually be really cool if you want them to be. Uh, obviously it depends on the user, but for me, I love that they're really fashionable and really cool. And so I'm really hoping to portray that today. But anyway, I'm going to stop rambling now cuz I'm clearly not getting much done while I'm talking, so I'm just going to cut to music while we listen to the Cruella soundtrack to get in the mood, and I'm gonna try and finish this look on a little time-lapse. So here is the finished look. I did it myself and I'm actually really impressed. Like, I did not think it was gonna look this good, but it looks so good and I'm so happy about that. I think we're doing 3 different looks now. I thought I was doing just the one, but I'm doing 3. So right now I'm in all black and look how one on. I'm like sat here and everybody keeps looking inside the car. Try not to draw too much attention to myself, but it's really funny. So the first location we're going to, I've actually been here before for a photoshoot. It was kind of like, oh, it was like end of the world type vibe, wasn't it? But it's basically the moors, which is like up on a massive hill. All right, uh, so close to the sky. It's starting to rain a little bit. I just think it can only get worse when you're literally going so close to the clouds. Oh, Oh well, we'll just go up uneven way. If anyone's played the game Final Fantasy on PlayStation, those vibes right now. So my hair literally dropped so quick, like it's just little waves. We finished location 1. I did 2 separate outfits, the second less clothing than the other, so I was freezing up there. We got back in the car, blasting the heating, and now I can feel my arms and toes again, so that's good. Where are we going, Mum? Going to a junkyard, and there's a scene in Cruella which is really memorable where she basically wears like a a dress that is like a garbage dress, isn't it? It's like made of trash. There's a lovely woman called Susie. She's a really talented dress designer, but she just does it for fun. She's really, really great at it. She's basically brought this garbage dress to life here in the northeast of England for me to wear, which I'm so excited about. I haven't actually seen it yet. She says obviously it's not exactly the same as the film, but at the same time, we're not going for completely the same anyway. We're going for like similar but with a twist inspired by Cruella. So I Can't wait to see it for one. I haven't seen it yet. It's like a little Tinkerbell vibe. Oh, like, like Rocky. Yeah, like, just, just watch your hands on the dress. I think we need to go to a party. Do you feel safe? Yeah, I think so. You think so? Well, I do not feel much from Like an old bit. Here's the drone coming. By now, so just help me moving around. Yes, you can go looking at the side and round. Looks amazing, looks like you're just spinning around. Yeah, great, brilliant. Did you fall over there? They're quite comfy down there as a reason. Only now realizing yet again that I did not film an outro. I always do this. I really hope you enjoyed this video. I had so much fun. Always have so much fun on those photo shoots, especially the annual Halloween one. So I really hope you enjoyed it. It was fun to come along with as well through video. I really could have been like, and to see the final results, check out my Instagram and they'll be on there and follow me on there, but I thought that's really annoying and I'll just put it in the video. But if you do want to support, it would be greatly appreciated if you go over to my Instagram where all the pictures will be on there. The best ones will be on my Instagram. I really hope you enjoyed this video. Make sure to like, comment, and subscribe if you did. Turn the notification bell on and I will see you all next time. Bye!
