Hello everybody, good morning, it's Tilly. You might have seen me advertising it a little bit, but I have the absolute pleasure of being the sort of entertainment, or one of the entertainments, like a singer at the Newcastle Christmas lights which are on, which is super exciting because if anybody knows me, they know I'm the fattest Christmas fan in the world. I'm the biggest fan, so the fact that I've got to get everybody in the Christmas spirit and I get to sing a Christmas song to do it It's literally so exciting, like, I'm so excited. So I'm attending the Newcastle Christmas Lights Switch-On as a singer, and I'm gonna be singing— actually, you know, I'm gonna reveal that later on. I'm gonna reveal that later on. The whole event is run by and put on by Metro Radio UK, and that's a really well-known radio station in the Northeast especially, so I'm so honored that they came forward and asked me to do it. Especially out of all the talented people that are around here. It's mad, people are skilled. But the one thing I can always deliver in is Christmas spirit and excitement, because I'm actually buzzing. I've got soundcheck today at like around 3 o'clock. The actual thing's at 6 o'clock tonight, and we're not actually coming back home, so I'm gonna have to get all glam and all ready now. And then I might get into like my little dress in like a pub or something, because It's gonna be cold, okay? But I did actually go to the salon the other day because I have had loads of problems with my hair recently. If you don't know, I dyed it brown, but like apparently I had to be platinum blonde still, um, and I had to get that back in like 24 hours. So that really ruined my hair, but I had to do it. So I went to the salon and she sort of done a repair job on it for me. Still not up to sort of standards, but she also gave me a bunch of hair care tips. So that I can really start looking after my hair and get it back to its healthy glory. Because health is glory, guys. Trust me, I've learned that the hard way. So I wanted to curl my hair today, but there is no way I'm touching my hair without any sort of heat protector spray, which I don't have right now. I'm gonna have to be that kid to go up to my mom and ask her please to drive me to Tesco so I can get some of that spray. And I also want some eyebrow gel, um, just so we can start getting ready and protect my struggling hair. Although I'm going to take you along with me because it's going to be super fun, super exciting, and I feel like the perfect way to get us into the Christmas spirit. Let's go! Look how cute! I actually love them. Listen to that sound. Oh my God, I love it. We gotta be quick, it's raining. So we're actually going bougie, we're going to Superdrug and not Tesco, so we'll find some better stuff there. The weather is literally so not ideal at all. It's not looking good. To be honest, it's great for me. I love the rain and mud, like get me in it. But who knows, we'll see if anybody turns up. That'll be nice. Hello. I always do this thing where I get really carried away with makeup. Like, I wanted to do something like literally a bit of white on the eye. And then I just got carried away. I literally went so overboard with blush, but I'm working with like only my phone's torch light as like my lighting. So then I went into the actual kitchen and saw in real life and I was like, geez, what is going on? And my mom did curl my hair, but I haven't brushed them out yet. I want them to be like quite loose and just normal waves. It just looks like this for now, but hopefully they'll stay crisp all day. Went on a last minute shopping trip last night to like look for an outfit because I was just gonna wear like a Christmas jumper and a cute little skirt, but management were like, no, you need to have like a cool outfit on. But I was like, guys, it's cold though. You could deal with the cold for a song. And I was like, okay, okay, fine, which I can, I'm a Jolie. So this is the first outfit we had in mind, silver. That's what I was going for when I was like doing my eyes and everything. It up and redid it. I don't know, I just felt like I did get carried away and I just wanted it to be natural and light to me. This was the other option for dress. I've got like a black dress on underneath and it's got these little fluff at the bottom, so I'm trying to decide. I think I'm leaning towards this one actually, and I didn't think I would be. Well, I know it's a sound check listening to Metro Radio. Cold, cold. Super excited! We've just done sound check. I think that went really well. Um, always good to get a feel for the stage. Right, in Harry's in Newcastle, um, I've ordered some chips and Coke. Probably isn't the best option first thing. I should be sipping on tea or something, um, but yolo, Coke tastes good. My transition into costume, except not quite, but underneath— hang on. Oh wow. So I was wearing cargo pants, but now I'm gonna transition. I'm gonna keep the jumper on until in Moscow because it is still raining outside, it still is cold. Um, little Santa Claus. I'm actually gonna freeze. Oh my God, we're in the tent, we're backstage. There's actually loads of people, there's a lot of people. Here's the stage. It's not even that cold. It's not, is it? No, well, I think I should still buy the coat. I'm going to be stood on stage like that. When you're stood on stage to do the thing, but when you do your performance, I think you should do it like that, then put your jacket on to do the lights. You might know her better as the Bionic Girl. She's an amazing singer, she is a model, she does YouTube tutorials for makeup, so she needs to help me out. Oh, look at the bling on the Bionic Girl! Very festive, Tilly. Fantastic to have you here. And what are you going to be doing for us tonight to help warm up for Christmas? I'm singing One More Sleep by Liam Gallagher. Oh, that's a great song, Newcastle! Make some noise for Tilly Lockey! No more reasons why I love you slow. I got 5 more nights to sing you next to me. One more, 4 more days, 3 more dreams. It's so tough, I can't believe I ever let you go. All right, are we ready, Newcastle? It's the moment you've all been waiting for. 3, 2, 1— it's Christmas! Newcastle, you know the words. Let's hear you sing. Everybody. We are finished and we're back in Harry's for more drinks and food. Hooray! But that was so much fun. Manny, what did you think? It was great. Elaborate for the interview, please. Not like that, please. Very good food and fun. How was the vocal performance? She had to think about it. She hesitated. Luciana, how did you find the show? Oh yeah, she did, and she put it on her public Snapchat story, which is obviously a big signal of— and I snapped you saying how good it was. Yeah, yeah, yeah, she was actually good. She was actually good. But, um, Dad, you did— I did ask you if you were making yourself known in the crowd. 'Oh, that's my daughter!' Uh, yes, everybody I saw, um, that asked me, 'Is that your daughter?' I said yes. How many people asked you? No, nobody else. So you didn't say a thing? No, nobody knew. Nobody knew. He was bystanding in the crowd, but I was a good crowd bystander. Really good. So basically, 10 out of 10 experience. I was backstage chilling with Sven, Anna, Elsa, and like like literally like 9 princesses, and their costumes were incredible, like unreal awesome. Um, and then I was there in my little candy cane outfit, freezing. We were all shivering, but it was funny. It was good. Overall experience, 10 out of 10. Would do again. Please have me back.
