I share my story and somehow that managed to motivate and really inspire people. I realised at a young age you can start anytime. My passion. I knew that I wanted to help other people. I knew that I wanted to make some prosthetics available to make people feel good and to help them at the same time. And there's no reason that you can't do that. Write a plan, draw a picture, or create a vision of where you want to be, and just take little, little steps that will get you closer and closer to that goal every day. Tilly is just like so positive. We would think that we'd feel so defeated in that moment, And what's so inspiring about her is she's like wanting to change the lives of other people and help other people. I just think she's fucking badass.
Visiting my studio this time is 15-year-old TV presenter and motivational speaker Tilly Lockey.
Hi Ricky, it's Tilly.
When she was just 15 months old, Tilly had her hands and toes amputated after contracting a serious illness called meningitis. But proud of her disability, she's now a TV presenter, popular online blogger, and tours the world inspiring others with her story.
My main message to people is just to embrace your differences. The days where I get the messages of people just saying, "Thank you so much, I found your page today, I'm so happy I did because it's given me so much confidence." I can't even tell you the feeling it gives me. Like, that's why I do what I do. Hi, Tilly. I made this bionic arm for you. Oh, I love your bionic arm. It's beautiful. I'm going to make that my next design.
Superhero-Arme bei Shootings einsetzt, gleich bei Galileo. Chris hat Tilly vor ein paar Jahren bei einem Event kennengelernt und war sofort von ihr begeistert. Es ist endlich soweit.
You're breaking up with me because I'm too blonde? Today we're heading back nearly 700 years. The year is 1348. We're in London. And this city is currently going through the worst pandemic the world has ever seen. Hopefully a vaccine will become available soon and we'll finally be able to say that we conquered coronavirus. By the way, you've been uninvited. These are all you said, are all the same things I did. But I couldn't possibly survive for real dressed like this, as there's no atmosphere on the Moon. So astronauts need their own very special spacesuit. With their own supply of air. There's not going to be hotels popping up on Mars or even on the Moon anytime soon. So science fiction could well become science fact one day. Watch this space.
Hi, Jim Cameron here.
As a moviemaker, I've always been inspired by technology and what it can achieve. Meet Tilly Lockey.
And these are arms for you to put on today and then to go to the premiere of the movie tonight. For us, you are an inspiration. You have shown what strength you have on the inside, and that really represents Alita.
When this got sprung up on us, I was just completely overwhelmed and just shocked, but I'm so grateful and lucky to be here, and I want to thank everyone who's involved.
Great stuff, great stuff.
Hello and welcome to FYI, the weekly news show that puts you in the know. Is it true that we are what we eat? Well, I've been doing some digging. Here's a question for you: what did you have for breakfast this morning? Was it some sugary cereal, a croissant, or perhaps a full English with bacon, sausages, fried eggs, and baked beans? With her very own self-penned rap edition, it's Tilly Lockey! Oh, I sing for you, I sing for me, I'll shout it out like I would set free. Tell me, how many times have your dreams and goals been shut down by your others? It could be strangers in the street, experts, friends, your own mothers. They say we're children, not worth much in the hierarchy of today. Respect your elders, you can have with what you'll never have a say. Eccentricity, electricity, energy source that drives our souls. So come on, knock me down again, if I can't walk then I'll Crawl, forget the labels, the boundaries, leave them all in the past. You can see me point and stare, but no, I won't be the last laugh. There could be a day when you yourself are in the Hall of Fame, but you can't let your own mind cause your soul the utmost pain. You see, life is full of setbacks and they'll try to bring you down, but no, you have your broom lad wings right there to sweep you off the ground. Soon, before you know it, you'll be soaring through the sky like an eagle through the dust. Come and hear your battle You were perfect all along, and it's finally clear to see. And I was screaming out loud and clear because this bird has been set free. I can't take my eyes off you. You look like an artist, you look like a star.
It was a show, literally. As soon as you came on, it was just big performance, amazing vocal. It was just a great performance all around. I'm a massive, massive fan of yours. I loved that. Well done, that was so cool. Tilly, if you perform that at the Brit Awards, people will be speaking about that performance for years and years to come. It was that good. When that rap came in, I was just like, I can't believe you just took it there and flipped it. She's just become the winner of CWC's Got What It Takes.
It's Tilly, everyone!
So before we get into this, let's just remind people of the winning moment on Got What It Takes.
The winner of Got What It Takes 2021 is Tilly! 3. Hey!
