WEEK IN MY LIFE *GONE WRONG* modelling, music, friends and little sleep😃

Hey everyone, it's Tilly, and I decided just downstairs a second ago that I'm gonna film a week in my life. And the reason this is starting so abruptly is because yes, I just decided I was doing this downstairs about 5 seconds ago, but also it's like Monday evening, so I've missed a day. That's also why I'm being a little bit quiet. Don't worry, that will change as the video goes on. The lighting is terrible. I feel like I need to do this as like a little ring light. It's not too much, but yeah. I was actually thinking last night that I want to do a week in my life sort of video because this week for me is like super, super busy. I've got something on every single day, um, there's a good balance of work, travel, and party, so it should be really, really fun to record and for everyone to watch and come along with me on. It's Monday evening right now, but I'll run you through what I did today. Every Tuesday, if you keep up to date with my socials, you'll know I do a radio show at Spark. I do the Tuesday Home Time show, that's 3 till 6, 3 hours live on air. Sometimes I go live on TikTok as well, and then I've got like 2 lives going on at once, and it's honestly kind of stressful but super fun. But tomorrow on Tuesday, I am not around to do the radio show. That's because I'm actually going to London, which I'll get onto why later. But yeah, so that means today was my only day to go in, pre-record the show, to make sure something will be going out during my slot tomorrow. Yeah, I went and pre-recorded so that my show doesn't leave anybody hanging. She'll get that Tilly Tuesday home time content. Super important, can't let them down. I'll slot in any videos I did take. I had the studio booked from 1 till 2, and then I actually got texts from somebody who I've worked with before who is currently trying to get me work in their hometown of South Africa. I've got a potential trip to South Africa next month, which is— I'm so, so excited. I loved it last time. It was literally insane. And it's the same guy who's trying to sort out this next one for me in February. So I actually had a message ping in from him straight after pre-record, and we had a quick call with him in the car just talking through some details of the event. He didn't give too much away just yet, but we're gonna have another Zoom call next week. But yeah, that was something to come out of today spontaneously as well, which was super fun. Was not expecting that. And then I got home. The reason I can't do Spark tomorrow is because I'm actually gonna be in London all day. We've got a pretty dang early train. I can't remember it right now, but I'll update you when I obviously wake up in the morning. But yeah, I'm gonna spend the whole day in London, and that's actually for a shoot, a kind of everything shoot, to be honest. It's for a brand called Makeup Revolution. I hope I'm allowed to talk about this. Right now, otherwise it'll all be getting blurred and bleeped. But yeah, it's a shoot for Makeup Revolution. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a really, really fun day where a lot of content creators are going to be there, like makeup influencers. I used to do a lot of makeup tutorials back in the day, and I worked with Makeup Revolution a lot as well. So yeah, I've been asked to do that. This is kind of my first official job, if not like shoot, of 2024, so that's pretty fun. And I get to go to London for it, which is just amazing. I'm so grateful. So if you're sat here wondering why I look in the state that I do right now, wet hair, fresh right out the shower, then that's why. As for a lot of photo shoots and stuff, they always want you to come like fresh-faced, fresh hair. So I did the full body shower, got myself sorted not too long ago, and I've been packing my little bag so that I'm all prepared. I had to bring 2 outfits, obviously the one I'm traveling in and then one extra. So I've been planning that and getting nice and clean. Other than that, I don't really know what to expect too much. I know there's gonna be interviews. I'm gonna have to do a makeup look, so I'm gonna decide on a makeup look that I'm gonna create sort of tutorial style for people to follow me. Maybe. It should be super fun. And yeah, just so much happening this week, so I wanted to take you along. But yeah, this is me trying to be consistent and taking you a week in my life. A very busy week. It's not always like this, although it is pretty busy a lot of the time. There's some other things I've got to do to prepare. I think these arms are actually on green. Yeah, they're pretty— both hands are actually on green at the minute. But just to be safe, I'm gonna plug them in overnight and make sure I have like a full battery for tomorrow so that I won't have any arms dying on me. That's always nice. Or people. We made it! Hooray! I didn't go to the toilet until like the very last minute, and I thought usually it takes ages to just pull into the stop, so it's like, oh, we'll have time. Went to the toilet, then it goes like the doors are opening. Came back out, left my phone on the desk and my head hanging out the door. I knew it was out my bag. If I left my phone on the train, that would have been an absolute disaster. Now we have an hour to spare, so I don't know what we're gonna do. Maybe just find some McDonald's, chill out. Hello, we are at Makeup Revolution and this is my before look. We cheated a little bit, um, they did my hair a little bit, but the plan is go all natural and then have an interview and then transform. I'm gonna be doing my own makeup for the show, which which is so cool. Um, but I'm getting my hair done because hair is not my strong suit, I'll tell you that one for free. And then we finished, and I cannot express how chaotic this train back was. Basically, our train got cancelled and there were everyone getting onto this one train, and it was like being at Leeds Fest. It was then delayed a further like 1.5 hours, but we eventually got moving, and I couldn't sleep the whole way, so I was, I was shattered. It was, it Leeds all over again. So I made it home finally. Here's my sleep tea. What time is it right now? 20 to 1 in the morning. Let's get some sleep. I'm so tired. I won't even lie, I woke up at 2 PM today, but oh my God, was it worth it. Like, I needed the sleep so bad after yesterday. It was such a fun day, as you'll have seen from like all the footage I slotted in. It was amazing. I had such a good time. I still got like gel in my hair and everything. And I actually have a rule for myself, which is I won't go absolute ham day after day, like in a row. It's like I need to have— I can do something in the day in between, but I won't be like full-on crazy, you know, because that's where I find I start to get ill. I will literally get just sick. Yeah, today is super fun though. I've been looking forward to for a really, really long time because it is my first meeting with my management of 2024. I love a meeting, especially at the start of the year, just so we could talk through everything, like the goals of this year, intentions going forward, and what aspect of my life and career I really want to push this year. Ah, it's so exciting! I actually love like sit-down meetings where you just get your life together. That's pretty much what I'm gonna do tonight, make sure everyone's on the same page. And yeah, today I've just been relaxing, resting, all while editing my YouTube video. This YouTube video that you're watching, I spent editing today. Knowing that I had this meeting later, so I was allowed to sleep in today. It's fine. I'm gonna go to Spoons, which if you're not from the UK, uh, Spoons is the best, like the, the pub of the UK. I don't know if that's just a northern thing. Obviously they're everywhere, but I don't know if they have the same reputation they do in the south as they do in the north. But yeah, and they do unreal hammock and chips, so that's probably what I'm gonna get. Yeah, that's the plan for what I check in and say hi, and then I will take you there in about maybe half an hour. I might bring me a little notebook to take notes. One of my New Year's resolutions is basically just to be on complete girl boss mode. Like, I just want to be more in the know of what's going on because usually I just wake up and then I'll figure out what I'm doing on that day. Like, I'm really bad with like logistics and things. So that is my goal. So I'm gonna be very present at the table today. I'm gonna go brush this hair and I will see you in a bit. Wait, here we are at Spoon. Say hi, Jackie. Hi. I don't know what time it is now, but good chats, right? Yeah, right squad. We're gonna make 2024 count. We are. You heard it here first, folks. Meeting finished. It's half 11. Didn't plan to stay out that late, but We had lots to talk about. We had lots to talk about. Lots of exciting things to talk about. But yeah, we are home. We are waking up— what time, Mum? We're leaving 5 in the morning for tomorrow's antics, which is a songwriting session with the band in Chester. You're juggling like a double life at the minute. Yeah, so I've got to start work at 9, so I need to leave at 5 to get down to Chester in time to start work, to have an office little ready at 9 in the morning, which means we all have to file there for 9. Yeah, that's a sacrifice I have to make. But yeah, it should be really fun. I'm gonna go get my 4 hours sleep, but then hopefully I'll sleep in the car the whole way there. Yeah, and I'll just drive. We made it! We're at this like cute little library place. There's people looking like everywhere, so I'm being quiet. The truck should be here any minute. I was so tired in the car. Could not sleep whatsoever. Running on 2 and a bit hours sleep, but we are ready to slay. I actually wrote something crazy in the car as well, like 6 AM, straight into my notes. Like, the best thoughts come out at 6 in the morning when you're sick in love, apparently. So yeah, I'll be writing. This thing took the height. This has walked off. Someone knew him, said he was the car park team leader. Yeah, that's cool. It's giving Kelly Clarkson a little bit. Oh my God, he's Kelly Clarkson. Who knew? Yeah, this is gonna be an absolute tune considering this will just be like a piano ballad. Yeah, flipping the switch. Yeah, yeah, yeah, bro. Wanna say hi to the vlog? Yeah. Honestly, it's been busy but it's been chill as well. Like, we've just been grinding, doing all sorts of just like fun music stuff. That was my drummer Jack for the official band, and that was like our first like legit like kind of writing session together, so that was so fun and we got so much done, like yay! So yeah, now we're driving home, another 3 hours back home but worth it, and I'm gonna listen to everything we made in the car on the way back. Okay, so we're getting to the point now where my laptop literally has like no storage left on it, but also I kind of trailed off filming at the end of this week just because I was having fun. I went to see my friend over the weekend So I'm gonna do a cute little montage, um, just to wrap up this video and show you my fun little weekend. We've got little nails. It's been a bucket list thing for a really long time. We've got little nails on, so we're gonna stick some acrylics on it and make them, make them glam like the rest of them. Do you want to pick what design you want? She's gonna pick her nail design. I'm like, I've never had to pick a nail design before. At the right angle. So we're making gravity work. Like, I thought they were gonna look like a bit funky, but— Hello everyone, it's Tilly, and I didn't really know how to end this vlog because I didn't know how honest I wanted to be because it's such a terrible note to like end a really busy week of my life on. But at the weekend I felt like really, really ill. I'm like sort of just recovering from that now on Tuesday. I had to call off the radio show today because I was literally like throwing up. I don't know what was wrong, but I just felt really sickly and like throwing up and stuff. I don't know, it could be a bunch of reasons. Could be a tummy bug, could be anything. Could be that I'd done an awful lot this week and I really threw myself in there like a bit too quick. So yeah, I didn't really want to end like a productive week in my life vlog on, yeah, I threw up at the end, you know. But I think it's really important to be real and to know your limits as well. I didn't at any point feel it coming, otherwise I would have stopped. You know, you've got to listen to your body and know when to stop if you are feeling like a bit run down and stuff. But it literally came out of the blue. Um, but yeah, I mean, I had a productive week and I'm pretty much better now. So I don't know what that is, but going forward I'm gonna look after myself a lot more. I mean, I spoke throughout this video saying like I would have one full-on day and then a rest day, and I thought that was gonna be fine, but clearly not. So I'll have a little rethink and see how I can be better to my body while doing everything that I want to do. And I feel like that's an important message anyway and why I want to come clean and say that at the end of this very productive week, I was not well. Also, it's very, very easy to compare your life to a really, really busy week in somebody else's. My life isn't always like that, and sometimes being really, really busy isn't the healthiest either. So please don't compare yourself in any way. And for the people who I know care a lot about me on this channel, who are support is. I promise I will look after myself a little bit more as well. I was trying, but I will try harder. So, so strange. But at the end of the day, I had such a good week. I genuinely can't believe we're only a little bit over 2 weeks into 2024.
