WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS 2023!!! 🎅🎄

Hi guys, it's Tilly. Welcome back to my YouTube channel. Um, I've already filmed this video already. I filmed the entire thing yesterday. I was a hindrance to my entire family, making everyone keep quiet, turning the Alexa music off, and the audio didn't record. So we're back, but I'm slightly more positive than I would be if I had to refilm any other video because it's Christmas time and this is a what I got for Christmas haul. I absolutely love these videos. I love watching them. First of all, I hope everybody had such a merry Christmas if you do celebrate. Honestly, mine was beautiful. Beautiful. It was— it's usually quite crazy because I've got quite a big family, but this year was like proper cozy and, and just cute and quaint. It was lovely. But yeah, I thought I'd show you what I got for Christmas 2023. Let's go! First things first, since you're gonna see me drinking it throughout the video, I got this Spider-Man cup. I'm a massive Spider-Man fan. Anything Spider-Man themed, I'm obsessed with. So this is what I got my morning coffee in today. Yay! For this Christmas I asked for— I'm 18, so usually like mainly like clothes and stuff like that. But I'm gonna start off with the cute little games and I'll get on to the clothes later on. First of all, I've got this little card game. It's always good to get like games and stuff for Christmas, I think, because obviously you can play them when it's family time. And The Traitors, if you don't know, was a TV show. It was like a competition series on BBC where basically there's like 3 traitors and there's a bunch of innocents and they've got to figure out who the traitors are. And me and my cousin would actually like love to go on that show, although I'm not very good at lying and things, so I feel like if I had to lie and say I was innocent when I wasn't and I was actually killing people in like their sleep, I would have like this fat rash just go up my neck and I'd immediately be kicked out. But since it's not on TV, we can, um, experience that from the comfort of my own home where I'm only murdering family members, so it's not as bad. Next up, activity-wise, I got a book and this one is Heartless by Marissa Meyer. She is my favorite author of all time. If you don't know, she is also the author of The Lunar Chronicles, which has a very notable main character protagonist who's like missing a leg and maybe a hand as well. I'm not quite sure, but like she's kind of cyborg. So that's how I got into that. But just, I read all of her books now because I just love the way she like builds characters specifically. I love her characters so much, and I've heard stuff about this book for so long, so I finally got it to read and I'm so excited. Christmas isn't Christmas without a book. And I'm going to show you something I got to go with my book. It's a cozy candle! Bookish soy candle is what it says, and it's meant to smell of old bookshelf. And I don't know about you, but like, I cannot walk down like a street and not go into a Waterstones. If there's a Waterstones on the street that I'm walking down, I have to just step inside just to like sniff the books and the paper, because if you know, you know, like Waterstones smells so good. It's like coffee cafe and that, and then all the books just smell so good. So yeah, that's really niche maybe, but I've got my little old bookshop candle to read with my book. Whereas imagine that just all lit, you know, such vibes. Next up, I got these little snail essence sheet masks. I'm a big fan of the snail mucin, which went viral a little while ago. Korean skincare and makeup and stuff is just like proven to be the best, and all stuff I've tried has been absolutely amazing. But yeah, I was a big fan of that, and now I've got this little mask sheet to try. So that should be really, really good to deliver abundant moisture and nourishment deep into your skin, which is great because I actually have dry skin, if you don't know. It looks so cute, like, oh. Next up on the topic of self-care, I got this little bath and body set from Rituals. Rituals opened in my local shopping center this year, and me and my family are just always in it because it's just beautiful for bath and body sets. And stuff like this. So this is actually the set of 4. It's like their bestsellers, I believe. So in there you get shower foam, body cream, shower oil, and body mist. And the thing with Rituals is it kind of feels like you are literally doing a ritual for your body. And every single package has like a little theme to it. So as you can see, this one is the Ritual of— the Ritual of Ayurveda. I'm probably not saying that right. And that means the ancient art of living wisely. So they all have their little theme to it. So I don't know, it just— it feels much deeper when you're like massaging oil into yourself. I don't know, it's good though. I can't wait to use this. I'll be smelling lovely. Speaking of scents, from my cousins I also got some more Bath and Body Works different bits, and this one is called Twisted Peppermint and it's the Fine Fragrance Mist. Here's what it looks like. Smells absolutely unreal. Oh, so strong, just pure peppermint. Just smells like a candy cane. Another perfume I got is my all-time favorite perfume and also signature scent. It is the Pure XS perfume, which has been my signature scent for a good while. I'm pretty sure I've seen this in like an airport or something and immediately like the packaging. Like, I love that snake. I feel like that's so cool, but it smells even better. Like, it smells so good. And yes, I'm layering the smells now. People are gonna be like, what the hell, or probably coughing when they're around me. But oh my gosh, it smells so good. If you haven't sniffed this, find one and sniff it. Next up, from my dad's side of family, I got this little tin. And it was really funny actually because my sister came home from uni pretty close to Christmas, and usually we'll already have had stuff like underneath the Christmas tree. But she got here and she was like, why is the Christmas tree literally empty? Like, does no one like us anymore? Have we been bad? Like, um, and then And then my dad went to meet his family who are actually from Northampton. He met them like halfway in like a service station. He got back from that little meet-up and then suddenly we went from nothing under the tree whatsoever to the tree being like jam-packed full. So big up the Lockeys, that side of my family. Love you lots. But they know me very well and they got me a bunch of like hair care and stuff, both my dad's sisters actually, which I am so thankful for. This nice little Ozzie SOS Blonde Hydration Conditioner here, which is super nice. Never enough conditioner. And that's with Australian wild plum and manuka leaf for bleached blonde and silver hair in need of long-lasting hydration and smoothness. That's what I need. Then I also got the shampoo to go with that. Again, Ozzie SOS, same flavors. I also got this, which is the Ozzie SOS Heat Saviour Leave-On Spray. Ta-da! Do pretty well. I don't put too much heat on my hair, but like doing modeling and like being on stage and stuff, sometimes you just can't escape it. So always make sure to bring a little heat protectant with me so that at least my hair's not being ridiculously damaged. Still like a goal, got it in 2024, I guess. My hair still isn't really that great, but we're working on it. Next up, this is actually my main present I got from my family. I feel like I just Flashed it a bit there, but it is the GHD hair straighteners. Now I wanted these ever since the MAC face show I did in London because the lady was telling me all about like the technology in them and how they again like damage your hair less than other straighteners because of the technology and stuff. Apparently she did like a whole course on it. So anyway, I was influenced and I was like, again, trying to save the hair, this would be really, really great for me. So I got these GHD hair straighteners, which are a little, like, quite a bit more pricey than normal straighteners, but she was preaching how much it was an investment, and she used them on my hair and it looked really nice. And we have used these and it feels really nice, and like, you can— it does feel like I'm not damaging my hair as much. So yeah, that's nice. Like, you know, sometimes you straighten your hair and it like all the way down. Maybe that's just me because my hair is so fried, but like, these ones, even with just like like really smooth. So thanks, Mom and Dad. He's giving me a thumbs up. Before I go on to clothes, because there's plenty of them, I'm gonna show you this little bag which I got. I do a lot of traveling, and I want to do much more traveling in 2024 as well. So this is just the perfect, like, carry-on bag. It's white, it's like this puffer material which I love so much, and it can also double up as a pillow actually. This is from Opoly. It's super nice and I'll be using it so much in the new year. Time for clothes. Now for my clothes, I asked for some like stage outfits, be it like for presenting or singing, performing, whatever I'm doing, because I did need some more of them. And I also asked for like— my style is very like princessy girly, so I asked for like a couple dresses like that and I got a bunch of like little dresses which are just so cute. So I'm gonna show you first some like presenting sort of stage outfits, and then I'll get on to all the cute little dresses. First of all, I got this little purple wash denim set. So this is a little denim skirt, and I also have this matching top, which is just a bandeau, and then it's got this like triangular bit. I haven't actually tried these ones on yet, but they're super cute, and I'll definitely get some wear out of them. Next up, I got these business-looking but also super trendy cool cargo pants. You can't go wrong with a cargo pant. Pants. I don't know if that's a word. Um, but they're like this like khaki green color and they're not cuffed at the bottom. They're like just like out, I guess. But they've also got these pockets which come in so handy. I love any pants with like pockets and stuff because us girls don't have enough pockets, like simple as. But yeah, they're super nice. Always nice to have like a brand new pair of like longer pants that aren't jeans because jeans are just sometimes a bit uncomfortable. But you don't want to wear them. The next little business-esque outfit I got was this. So it's like a brown full leather, of course, little, little skirt, and it's got these like fat pockets in it, which is so good. And this was from Ego as well. And I got a matching high neck leather jacket to go with that. Here it is. And like, it's kind of giving pirate actually. Like, it's, it's got like a corset sort of secured at front. I'm not gonna lie, I did try this on Christmas Day and I fully got stuck in it. Like, I, I was like hyperventilating. I was like, help, get me out, because we couldn't figure out how to unclip them. But like, there must be a way. Either way, I'll still be wearing it even if I feel like I'm like suffocating when I try and get it off. Worth it. But yeah, super cute and gives me proper pirate vibes. I always wanted to be a pirate as a kid, so suits me down to the ground. I have one more businessy-esque outfit to show you. I said business, but like, they're super cute at the same time. Um, I got these little gray— they look kind of purplish on camera, but like, they're little gray shorts like this from Cider with this matching top, which is so pretty. It's like this, it's like a little lace-up ribbed top. I love this lace here. And yeah, I just think that's really, really cute. Like I said, it's like business but also like edgy business, you know, which sounds a bit sus. That sounds like I'm doing something I shouldn't be doing, you know what I mean? Next, I got two cozy little lounge sets. Winter doesn't end after Christmas, we've still got January, February, and now where it's gonna be freezing cold. Um, so I got some cute little new lounge sets. Get this straight. There we go. Uh, I got this little sandy beige one from Ego, and like the rib on there— you see the material on there around the waist— literally looks like a cloud. It's so comfy. And I got to go with that this matching sandy beige hoodie, just a little zip-up hoodie. I just feel like little lounge sets you absolutely can't have enough of. So yeah, I'm gonna be living in these. I also got exactly Coat wants to say hi. I've made a right mess around me, I'm not gonna lie. But I also got exactly the same thing in navy, so, you know. And I like these as well because they're like flared at the bottom, they're not cuffed, which is really cool. And I don't have any joggers like that. So yeah, I got the navy bottoms and the matching navy zip-up hoodie. Both of them are from Ego and they feel so nice and cozy. On the topic of nice and cozy, I got these little Ugg-style slippers which are so comfy. I've been wearing them so much. I really wanted some like sturdy slippers to wear around the house, especially because my leg length discrepancy is getting a little bit more. So it's good because I can wear like an insole in my shoes, so my back doesn't feel like twisted. Okay, now I'm gonna show you all my super cute little dresses, so get ready. First things first, I got this lovely like silver pretty lace-like dress. It is also like corset style, but you know some corsets literally suffocate you, and This is like really breathable and stretchy, so it's perfect. It's like, it looks like I'm like putting in all this effort, but actually it's like the coziest dress ever, which is perfect, just what you want. Next one I'm going to show you is actually one of my favorites. I wore this on Boxing Day for our little Boxing Day festivity traditions, but it's this brown lace dress which I just think is so stunning. Again, it's super comfy. It's like the perfect day dress. You know, just chuck your dress on and you're ready to go. I love that about dresses. It's like, there's a dress, there we go. So you love this color as well, like brown, especially against like blonde hair. I feel like it just looks so pretty. I feel like a little chocolate bar. So yeah, I'm gonna be wearing that so much, overwearing it for sure, but whatever, you know. So cute. Next up, proper girly, I got this cute little skirt. It's like a chocolate brown as well, or like a bit grayish Mormon person. And but of course you've noticed like these little pink ribbons just make it so much more girly and cute. I love that. And actually you could probably take the ribbons out and like put the ribbons anywhere so you can reuse them in like any outfit or tie them in your hair. But yeah, I just think that is absolutely so adorable. Again, something I could wear on stage or present in, which is quite cool, but then has like the girly little aspect which We love so. It's also a skirt as well, not just a skirt, so that's always good, the built-in shorts. I got this little black dress also from Ego. It's like all this layered fabric and lace. I'd probably wear something underneath, um, but yeah, it's just absolutely stunning. I love lace, like I'm really into like lace and ribbon and stuff at the moment. I just feel like you could use this for anything, like you could really dress that up, but you could also dress it down and like put a shirt underneath. I got a new shirt as well, so maybe that's what I'll do. But yeah, I just think the possibilities are endless with just a staple piece like that. Next up is literally probably my favorite dress I got. It's so pretty. So drumroll, please. Ta-da! Oh my goodness, like, just look at that. That is so pretty. The epitome of girly pink. Like, you've got the pink, obviously the baby pink, which is— I love this color. I really didn't have much pink at all. In my wardrobe last year, and I only realized when I went to go see Barbie and I was like, I need to wear something pink, and I just didn't have anything pink. Whereas now I've got loads of pink. But like, yeah, this is pink, and it's also got all the lace, like the lace, like chiffon fabric. And if you look closely, you've even got little bows on there, which is just the cutest thing ever. Like, tell me, like, you've seen a cuter dress than that. You can't. Literally. And I tried it on as well, it's just so nice. Again, really, really comfy as well. I don't know why I keep wearing it like a scarf, but I love this dress so much. Definitely my favorite dress that I got this year. And yeah, I mean, really it should only come out special occasions, but let's be honest, I'll probably just like put it on lounging around the house just to have it on, because in my opinion this is perfect. And it's from Cider. Oh, I'm obsessed. And last Next proper girly dress I have, I'm gonna— might actually have to like stand up for because she is the moment. Okay, this dress is from Oh Polly and it looks like this. How stunning! First of all, the color— I don't have anything this color in my wardrobe, but this is like, this is also just princess. Like, if I ever had the opportunity to go to like a ballroom dance or something like that, this is what I'd be wearing. It's stunning. It's got those little ribbons on the side so you tie little bows around shoulder and stuff. And oh my goodness, like, just perfect. Just perfect. That's all I have to say. Perfection from Oh Polly. And they do dresses so well. If you're looking for like a lovely like little party dress, Oh Polly is the place you go. I should have just fell down on this. Yeah, I would regret my champagne. But yeah, also Oh Polly is like so good that I'm like low-key manifesting interested in a collaboration with them in 2024. I mean, dress speaks for themselves. And to go with my little dresses, I've got little pairs of tights. I love to pair it with like a proper cute pair of tights. So I've got my favorite go-to tights, which are, which are like sheer at the top and then they turn into like built-in socks. I don't know if you can see very well on camera, but yeah, they're like sheer and then they get like thicker, like little built-in socks. And there's also like a tan pair of these with built-in black socks, and they're so cute. I just pair them with everything. I also got these ones, which are so pretty. They're the same thing in the sense there's like built-in socks and stuff, but these ones actually have little— these ones have those built-in ribbons on, which again is like that proper girly vibe which I'm going for. And it's also like patterns up the sheer part, like little zigzags, which are just so cute. And finally, these pair of tights I cannot wait to wear. They're this white, but they've also got like pink little bows on there and pearls, little pearls. You can't get any more girly than that. For going into the winter, I've got these again Ugg style, but they're like slightly taller boots. And yeah, they're just so perfect. The box like literally stinks of fish, which is weird. I feel like sometimes you get some shoes and like it either smells beautiful, like you want to eat the shoe. I don't know if anybody else experiences that. Or it smells like fish, and I don't know why it smells like that. But yeah, they smell like fish a little bit. Hopefully it's just the box. But yeah, I can't wait to wear these out in the winter, January, Feb time. Oh, because they're just so comfy as well. I've tried them on, they're perfect. That's all the little dresses done, but I guess this is still classed as an accessory. This is my favorite gift I got this Christmas, and it might be a little bit niche Some people might watch this video and be like, Tilly, what the actual hell? Like, why? But I nearly cried when I opened it. It's this little star bag and it's got like, oh, it's got a little face. And honestly, I saw this on like an Instagram ad or something, and you know, you're a little bit worried like, oh, it could be like a scam or whatever. But oh my goodness, like, it was worth the risk because look at that. Honestly, I'm not even joking, nearly cried. Like, it's so cute. Um, yeah, I'm gonna be wearing this, finding any excuse to rock up with like this because it's just the cutest thing ever. Like, I actually can't get over it. It's my favorite thing that I got. It's a bit shallow, I won't lie. Like, it's, it's more like a clutch purse even though there's all that fabric. But yeah, enough room for a lip gloss and some ID, and that's all that matters. Oh, I forgot about my coffee, guys. It's cold now. I actually love the shape of this as well because it's almost like a jug, like it's really narrow, so it's like, it's really nice to drink out of. I don't know if like people pay attention to that sort of thing, but like, yeah, so good. Okay, next thing I'm gonna show you are, I guess, experiences for next year. Last year I got a bunch of concert tickets, and this year same sort of thing. I think I got 5 different cards like this, little Christmas cards, and they have concert tickets, which is so cool. So this first one says, this card entitles you to see Declan McKenna on March 25th. Ta-da! In the O2 City Hall in Newcastle, which is like pretty much around the corner to me. I saw Declan McKenna at Leeds Fest, and British Bombs live goes off. Guys, British Bombs is the best Declan McKenna song, and it's just incredible. Like, oh, I can't wait to see that. In Newcastle as well, so steal. Next up, I got this little red one, and this one is for Green Day and Nothing But Thieves. Like, Green Day is iconic as is, but I'm a massive Nothing But Thieves fan. They're supporting, sold, you know. So that was— that's Saturday, June 29th at Wembley. So that's a trip to London, which I'm so excited for. Yay! Next one, I got this little blue North pull little card. And the artist inside here that we're going to see is Sea Girls on March 14th at Manchester. I love Sea Girls, they're one of my favourite bands ever. I've actually never seen them live, but I'll be playing them on the radio 24/7. Such a good band and like crazily underrated in my opinion as well. If you haven't listened to Sea Girls and you're into like indie rock, check them out. So that'll be so fun, I'm so, so happy and grateful for that. Next one we got is this little Nutcracker dark blue card, and the artist inside this— I'm so excited to see— is Bleachers on March 22nd in Manchester. And oh my goodness, like, I feel like Don't Take the Money by Bleachers was probably my second most played song this year. Um, they were playing at Finsbury Park when I went to see the 1975, but we were like doing something crazy. I'm pretty sure we were outside the venue when it came on because— long story. Basically, we missed it, but like, I just felt the energy and it was incredible. So I really can't wait to see him and be in the moment and get to enjoy the show, like, because I love that stuff so much. Second most played artist, I'm sure. And I might have saved the best to last, no offense to any of those other artists, but you'll understand if you follow me on Instagram. You know, I really, really wanted to get these tickets, but we couldn't get them, and I was so convinced we weren't going next year. But honestly, I opened this card— it's this red one— this card is magic. I opened it up and like me and two of my other sisters got one, and we were like, what on earth? And it says that we are in fact going to the Eras Tour in 2024, which is like, oh my gosh. Like, if you genuinely follow me on Instagram, you know I was trying so hard to get those tickets. I had a friend who got some but also had a code for Ireland So he asked if I wanted the code. I was like, heck yeah! I was willing to like fly to Ireland to see the Eras Tour. But even that code wasn't working because it said they were all sold out. So we really thought there's no way, like we're hopeless. But my mom managed to nab them, the last opportunity when she put 2 extra dates on. She only got them like a couple weeks ago, literally in November. And she said when she got them she literally cried and like, ah, I actually can't believe it. Me and my whole family are like proper Taylor Swift fans and we're already talking about like what era we're gonna go like, and I've got a really good idea for my outfit, which I'm going to keep quiet for now, but it's going to be epic, so stay tuned. But yeah, I'm going to Eurostar. But yeah, that is everything I got for Christmas. I always feel like concerts are a really good way to go, or like tickets and things, because it's like Christmas is over and it makes those post-Christmas blues a little bit easier when you've got like so much to look forward to. I still can't get over the Eras Tour tickets, like genuinely, that's like That's the best present ever. Like, I don't even know how to act. I've been listening to Taylor Swift like non-stop since my card was full, literally just on the outro. But I hope everybody had such a Merry Christmas, whoever celebrates. I hope you had a lovely time. Like I said, my Christmas was so lovely. Like, I'm so beyond grateful for everything I got this year. I feel like it's just been absolutely amazing. And the day as well was just so cozy and cute. We have a new baby in the family this year. So yeah, it was just really nice. It was his first Christmas and it was just so nice and like cozy and family time. Like seriously, I loved it so much and I hope everybody else had the best day ever.
