Hey TikTok, this is Tisha Morris, and today I'm answering a question I get a lot, and that is, when do you need an entertainment attorney? All right, so first off, there are kind of two parts of an entertainment attorney. There's those who do litigation when things go pear-shaped at the, the back end of a project, but other entertainment attorneys like myself, we are the ones who help with the paperwork to get a project going, okay, before the project, during the project, and with post-production. All right, so a big clue that you need an entertainment attorney is when you start talking talking to other people about your project and it's in a collaborative manner, whether it's a co-writer or a producer, um, or someone who's helping you, um, further your project, your IP. And so one big part of entertainment law is creating that chain of title so that your project has a clear chain of title so that it can move forward and get made. Now, no one likes to spend legal fees, but we can save you money, um, and also protect your IP going forward.
