Hi Vancouver Island! In April, my wife and I invited Americans to come up and spend a weekend here. Hundreds of them came, spent their money in our island economy. Many of them were healthcare workers shopping around for a safe place for them to move their family to. Some of those people have already moved here. Jocelyn and I are now in the final weeks of production of a huge super secret video project, which is a recruitment video to get even more healthcare workers here. We are near the end of production and I have one big ask. The final scene of this video is hopefully hundreds of Vancouver Island residents all together in the shot, and I'd like you to be in that shot. That scene is being shot on Saturday, October 4th at 1:30 PM at Maffeo Sutton Park in Nanaimo, rain or shine. It will only take a couple of minutes to shoot, and all you'll have to do is yell out the final 3 words of the video. And yes, if you come, we'll tell you what the big video secret is. We're especially hoping that current Island Health Care workers come in uniform, in your scrubs or whatever, but if you're not in healthcare, just try to wear red and white. If you can make it, please RSVP at this website address: b.link/videoRSVP. Don't put your RSVP in the comments, we will not see it. This will help us know how many people will be there so we can pass the numbers along to the production team. So again, that's Saturday, October 4th at 1:30 PM at Maffeo Sutton Park in Nanaimo, rain or shine. If you want to be part of what could possibly be a huge viral video, the website is b.link/videoRSVP. Hope to see you there.
