Excuse me, but is this where the MAGA rally is?
Not, not at all. It's down the other corner. You have to go in the water to eat. Hi, my wife is big fans of you. Nice to meet you.
Thank you for coming.
Where are you from?
We're from French Creek. Oh, nice.
Oh, okay. Oh, good.
Is that past?
I'm Danny, by the way. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you.
Are you just so proud of him? Of course, I've been proud of him all of his life. Oh, this is nothing new. We just moved to the island like last year.
Oh, wow.
Are you guys new to the island?
2018.
Oh, okay.
Yeah. Oh, thanks. You're welcome.
Yeah. Oh, I wondered if you—
well, I tried. No, no, no, no, no, no, we are transplants.
No, I, I actually both wanted— I wanted a plain. I like just the plain bagel with some butter on it.
That's my favorite way to have it.
Just getting all the Americans in to ship them off.
No, no, it's so busy in there. Is it? It's crazy. Did you— they come from the White Tails? No, no, no, we haven't gone there yet. The, um, the, the taco truck was sold out. What's that going on?
YouTube sold out.
Yeah, so it's, um, uh, hi, I'm Jocelyn.
Hi, Jocelyn, nice to meet you.
What's your name?
I'm Mike.
Uh, I think I'm Darth Daddy. It's my future husband!
From the Discord.
From the Discord. Oregon. Thanks for coming.
Thank you for the drive.
It was quite the drive, but it was fun. Oh my God, so much fun. So I gotta tell you a story though.
This is, uh, this is, this is live, so if it's a story that should not be on, because I'm gonna, I'm gonna cry. Oh, okay. Tell it. Are you going to the meetup tonight?
The White Sands?
Yeah, yeah.
Tell us the story there.
Okay.
See you, Marty. Hey, wait, let me, let me tell you. Hello everybody. Um, hey Fiona, it is, it is gorgeous out. The food trucks are here. Um, I think there's about 400 people here. Um, there's a market, the, the vendors came out and we have this huge outdoor market. Um, this keeps going over there and then we have like, uh, we have like some of these people made like a volunteer They made like a volunteer information booth. Oh, I have to show you guys the information booth. Hang on. I don't know, Aiden. I think— yes, Fiona, same, same place. In fact, right here, this pavilion that you see here, this structure, it will be there. I thought at the most 200, and there's easily I mean, there's, there's hundreds of people here. It's kind of terrifying but amazing. Um, and I have to show you guys this thing. So these guys are volunteers who just decided to do this, which is awesome. And they have the— I'm on a live, by the way, so yeah. No, no, you're welcome to be in. Um, so they have this, which is amazing. Adopt an American. And then there are cards. Oh, maybe I won't show the phone numbers, but there are cards with locals, right? Those are locals who've said if you— if Americans need help with getting around or they want to go out for lunch or whatever. It's amazing. It's so cool. And have you— have there been any matches? Good. Oh, you're out of Americans? You have to— there's too many locals wanting to help. Wow, that's so great. Yeah, that is so great. Okay, thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm gonna just quickly show you guys the market because if you're ever here, uh, in Nanaimo, starting from Mother's Day and then all the way through the summer and up to Labor Day, I think the same people who do this market— and I might get interrupted by people, by the way, because that's happening a lot— um, but the same people who do that market that in Cedar, which is just south of Nanaimo, are the same people that put this one on. And they've brought— they brought all their vendors, and there's everything from food to art. Um, there's all sorts of stuff. We're at the— we're at the end of the day, so it's slowing down a little, but when I was here earlier, it was packed. Oh, thanks Fiona. So yeah, um, it's baffling but amazing. Lots of dogs, lots of people. Um, and we're going to the— there's the Nanaimo sign. So what we're doing tomorrow, if you're here by the way and you're going— you want to go and you want to come here, this is kind of hard to see from the angle that I'm at, but this is the Lions Pavilion. There are bathrooms here. Wheelchair accessible bathrooms. So this right here, which is called the Lions Pavilion, this is where we will be meeting at 10 AM tomorrow. The mayor will be giving a couple of words and the MLA will be giving a couple of words, and then we're going to walk over here to this sign and get the photo taken there. So yeah, it's exciting, and I really did not think this many people would come, and apparently more arriving in town as we speak. I met people here from Florida. There's people that drove up from— drove from Utah. Actually, they're over at that table. Um, yeah, it's been, it's been really, really cool. So, but I have not eaten yet, so I'm gonna get offline. But I wanted to show this to you folks, and we will be— I will do something more tomorrow morning at 10. I'm gonna give my phone to Jocelyn, and there's Jocelyn right there. And, um, and then she will go live at that time. So thanks everyone for your support, by the way, and for following and for, um, your interest in this. Uh, it's been really cool. Oh hey, look at that ferry is right there over the water. Okay, I will see you guys later.
