A creator explains why calling MAGA-aligned TikTok commenters "bots" backfires. They hate that label. Instead, ignore them entirely, skip gendered language, and talk to other commenters in the thread.
For whatever reason, I get a lot of MAGA guys in my comments, um, and I just want to tell people, if you're on TikTok and these MAGA people show up in your comments, uh, they really hate it when you call them bots. So don't call them bots. And the way you should not word it is like just be completely dismissive of them and like don't even address them. Like talk to other commenters. Like ignore that account, it's just a bot. Don't even use genders, just like it's a bot. They hate it. Don't do that. Don't, don't do that. They hate it. Yeah, just, just don't, don't refer to them as bots. It's bad. That's rude.
