This is a YouTube video titled "Checking YouTube Music for Your Podcast" created on April 25, 2024, featuring Tracy Hazzard demonstrating how to verify if a podcast is listed on YouTube Music by searching for various shows and explaining the process of checking video and audio listings.
Hey there. Just a quick demonstration of how to find whether or not your podcast is listed on YouTube Music. So you go into music.YouTube.com and you go immediately into the search field and you begin to look for your show. So you go up here and you type the proper name of your show like the Binge Factor and sure enough, see top result, the Binge factor Podcast. Podcast. And it shows you where it's located. Do the same thing. I'm going to do the same thing for feed your brand. That is my other show. And then I'm going to do an older one. So I have an older show that is audio only. And very often when you have a video podcast feed, it's automatically going to show up here and there's going to be no problem. And I'm going to show you what it looks like in a minute. But if you already have a video podcast channel set up in YouTube, it's just going to automatically show here. But here's a show that I don't have a video podcast channel for. So I already was typing in product launch hazards. It's an older show, so it happens to have one of my episodes because a couple of episodes happen to be on YouTube but it doesn't have a podcast. So just to double check, you might click podcast. Oh, look, there it is. It's the product launch hazard. So you can just double check in case it's not there. I'm going to do one more.
Let's see.
See if that one will show wtff. Well, it's not my show, that's for sure there. So, yep. So see none of my WTFF. My podcast on 3D printing isn't showing up here at all. So now I know that I need to get that audio show listed here on YouTube. So that's one of the things. But I'm going to click on this just so you can see what it looks like. Here's what featurebrand looks like. You can very clearly see there are videos here, right? They look like exactly like the videos that are on it. If I click on any of these to show it, it's going to play. It's going to automatically play here in YouTube Music and it's playing the video and the audio at the same time. So like you're getting both. So just wanted to show you what this looks like and you could also obviously flip to the audio version only. And this is what YouTube is doing now instead of Google Podcasts. So this is how it looks here. So make sure your show is showing here in YouTube music. And if it's not, we have a whole nother section on how to make that happens.
