You.
What are speaker designations and should you use them in your verbal SEO blog, as we call it here at Potitize? So your podcast episode blog, if you want to think about that, or in your show notes, we know from experience and we have blogged and transcribed over 50,000 episodes here at Potterties. And what we know from that is that if you use the speaker designation, meaning if I say tracy colon and then write what I say, and then I say guest colon and I say what you said on my show, Google will downrank will lower the ranking of your blog for that when they see that, because they know that it's a transcript. Now, we know that you want to have something that looks like a blog to Google and something that's easy to read for your users, your clients, your members, your readers. And so we have developed a format for all of the blogs that we produce here that are based on the transcript of what you said. And we put the host or co hosts in boldface and everything the guest says in lightface so it looks like a Q and A style blog, which is perfectly acceptable to Google. So that's what we do to remove speaker designations. It is just a simple way to turn your transcript into a blog.
