Confused by the conflicting fat loss advice?

You're stuck because everyone gives different diet advice. The only way to know what works for your body is to pick a plan and start, then adjust based on what happens. Your biochemistry is unique, so external information can't replace your own experimentation.

Do you often find yourself stuck and feeling unable or unwilling to move forward with your health and weight loss goals because you're too confused by all of the conflicting information? Now, personally, I see this quite a lot with my clients, and I can even sometimes do this, particularly in my business. But I see it a lot. And the problem is what we're trying to do is we're trying to figure out all the answers first. So I go, if I can gather all the information, as much information as possible, I can figure out all of the answers and all of the exact precise and perfect steps that I can take that will guarantee my result. The problem is anything that we gather from an external source in terms of information is not likely to have all of the different nuances and things that we will maybe discover or experience once we start taking action. So yes, we can kind of believe we've figured things out and gotten all the answers and all of the information, But often what we find is once we start taking action, that's when the truth is exposed. So what we would be better off doing in most cases is just get started anyway. This person says do this, do that, and then the feedback that your body and your experience gives you will tell you whether it was right for you or not. That will tell you whether, oh, his particular approach that said eat high protein, high fat, and low carb, that was right. That's what works for me. 'Whereas this other guy who said, actually, you should maybe go 30-30-30 and have an even diet or a balanced diet, that doesn't work for me,' and so on. Or you might be the person that tries the balance and find, well, that works perfect, and instead it's the high protein, high fat approach that doesn't work for me. But the catch is gathering all the information, regardless of all the alleged research and data that they have that claims it's the perfect way, that doesn't necessarily mean that it's going to be the perfect way for you. Because the truth is, ultimately, we're all biochemically individual. Yes, we have a lot of similarities. Yes, often most diets will work for most people to a degree, but at some point, what most of us discover is that, oh, actually, I do better eating this particular way. And then another person will find, well, actually, I do better eating that way, and so on. And there, they might be subtle differences, but they make huge differences in how you show up and how your body expresses it, whether it's a high-fat or a high, high-protein or a low-carb carb, or this or that. It doesn't matter what the specific thing is. What matters is, have you found the one that works for you? Now, of course, we all need to start somewhere. We don't necessarily know, well, do I do better on high protein, or do I do better on high fat, and so on. But we don't know that until we start trying. Once we start implementing the information that we've gathered, that's when we find out what's working for us and what we should stick with in order to get consistent results over a long period of time. But as I say, if we sit there confused and conflicted by all the information that we're gathering, we're not going to move forward, we're not going to take action, and therefore we're not going to see results regardless of whether it was the right recommendation or not. So what we need to remember is there is nothing that gives better clarity than moving forward and taking action. Once we start taking action, we get all the clarity we need because we see it in our results. Oh, I'm doing this approach, I've decided to eat in this particular way or train in this particular way, and it's producing these results in my body. That means it must be working. It's doing what I want or need for it to do. So therefore, this is the route I will continue to follow. And then of course, if it doesn't— if it's not giving you the feedback that you want or the results that you want— well, then you tweak it, change it, and adapt it until you find what works. But we have to be patient enough with ourselves in the beginning to kind of find what's going to work consistently for us long term, but we also have to be ruthless enough to just say, fuck it, get started now. Stop waiting around, stop making excuses, stop using information overload as the, the reason or the barrier to why we, we're going to move forward, or to why I can't get results. Instead, just go, move forward with something, whether that's a diet you've seen or heard from someone you're following. Could be my Metabolic Meal Method, for example. But regardless of what it is, doesn't matter if it's my method or somebody else's, just get started because it's the getting started and the feedback you get that will tell you if it's right or if it's going to work for you. Now, obviously, I've mentioned my metabolic meal method. If you're unsure what that is or if you'd like a copy, drop the comment metabolic below. I'll get that sent over to you as quickly as I can.
