Short social-media transcript from a speaker explaining that Uber Ride Pass — a subscription found in the Uber app under Subscriptions — locks in lower fares and can reduce costs even during surge pricing. The speaker claims the feature is little-known and credits a source called “ubk” for sharing the tip and additional hacks via a bio link.

Why are my Uber rides always so expensive? That's just surge pricing. Nothing you can do. Not true. Uber Ride Pass locks in lower fares every month, no matter the surge. Wait, I've never even heard of that. Exactly. It's hidden in the app under subscriptions, and it saves money on every trip. Wow. Where did you learn that? I learned it from ubk. They share hacks, apps. Never want you to know. And there's more from them. Tap the link in my bio to learn more.
