How to Buy Cash-Flowing Businesses With Little or No Money Down

This is a short persuasive YouTube talk by Dan Novaes recommending entrepreneurs buy existing cash-flowing small businesses (e.g., ATM routes, vending machines, niche websites, social accounts) rather than starting from scratch. He argues buying existing assets accelerates profit, gives examples of marketplaces (Flippa, BizBuySell, Swopt), and urges proper due diligence before purchase; closes with an invitation to a free community.

Most people are stuck in a system designed to work harder and not smarter. We're here to expose the strategies, the loopholes and the Life hacks for 1% use. This is universal basic knowledge.
So this one here is for all the entrepreneurs that are thinking about starting a business, because everyone dreams of starting a business. But here's the truth. From scratch is the hardest way to do it. I, I've done it many times and it is not easy. And every time you think it's going to be easy, it's not new brand, no customers, no systems. You're burning a lot of time and money just to get off the ground. And that's why most first time entrepreneurs fail. They start from zero instead of starting from momentum. If I can go back 10 to 15 years ago, I would have done things in a totally different way. You may be wondering what is that way? Well, here it is. You can buy someone else's small business. Think ATM routes, vending machines, even social media accounts. You can basically buy any business out there that already has assets, it already has cash flow from day one. And you're not inventing new demand. You're stepping into a system that's already working. Right now is one of the best times in history to do this, because we have this generation of boomers that are trying to exit their businesses and many of them don't have heirs and people that are taking over those companies. And so you could find these businesses sometimes with $0 down, and you'd be able to buy these businesses that are already working. That allows you to start profiting faster and sooner than you would from starting from scratch. So what type of businesses are we talking about here? Again, there are tons of them and we're going to give you some sites here. But let's talk about ATMs and vending machines as a classic entry point. Buy a machine that's already placed in a high traffic location, you're buying an income stream. 500 bucks for a machine may not seem a lot, but if you have 10 machines, you have $5,000 coming in before you even wake up. Compare that to starting a route, hiring staff, and praying that you can sign that first store to get your customers. It's a nightmare. As opposed to buying something that's already working. And this doesn't work just for physical assets, because there are tons of social media accounts and newsletters and niche websites that are already modern day vending machines. They already have traffic, they already have audience, they're already monetizing with ads and sponsorships and products, and you could buy those instantly. You can buy a page with 50,000 followers, you can buy a newsletter with 100,000 subscribers, and then you could grow them for the next two years and then double your money of what you paid because you've made that business larger and more successful. So you may be wondering, where do I find these? Well, there's tons of online marketplaces out there. You can go to Biz, buy, sell, you can go to Flippa, which we've acquired at Mode, a couple companies or a couple apps from there, and you can even also look at sites like swopt. If you're looking for social media accounts, there are literally dozens of sites that focus on these different niches. So you can start looking at them from day one. And most of them are free. They do not charge a membership. And so you can start looking for underpriced businesses where the owner is simply looking to sell. And you may be thinking, why are they trying to sell something if it's making money? Well, they may be tired of restocking their vending machines. They may be wanting to retire. You don't know what the situation is, but there are tons of businesses out there. And as long as you do the proper due diligence, you ensure that the financials are right and that it's something that you are excited and passionate about. This is one of the best entry points for any entrepreneur to get into, and their exit is your opportunity. You don't need to invent the next big app. You don't need to start from scratch. Buying something that's already working and use it as your launchpad is how the 1% accelerates wealth. The concept of private equity and how these guys make billions of dollars is how this industry was formed. And you could do your own little mini private equity. And just by buying a business versus starting it. So don't build your momentum, buy it. If this sounds interesting to you, join our free community. You don't need to be rich to live like the 1%. You just need to learn what they do. This is universal, basic knowledge.
