A short YouTube video by Dan Novaes describing how some Chinese gardeners grow "living plant furniture"—furniture formed by molding living plants over years—turning plants into high-value pieces. The video highlights that creating these pieces requires deliberate technique and long-term patience, notes their value ranges (about $500–$30,000 depending on size, species, complexity), and frames the practice as a low-cost, highly profitable entrepreneurial activity. The clip ends with a call to follow UBK for more entrepreneur stories.

In China, gardeners are getting rich. While the average gardener spends the whole day trying to sell a single five dollar seedling and complaining about the sun over there, these guys are cultivating living plant furniture that is worth more than an imported car. And this doesn't happen by chance. It is brute technique and surgical patience. These pieces of furniture aren't made of cut wood. They are furniture made of living plants molded over years as if they were sculptures. The value of this living plant furniture ranges between $500 to $30,000 depending on the size, the plant species and the complexity of the shape from years of cultivation. While common gardeners are busy fight leaky hoses, Chinese gardeners are selling living chairs worth more than a portion. It is an extremely profitable low cost business, but it demands the one thing most people don't have. Patience. These guys literally wait for the plant to turn into money and it does.
