In this short YouTube monologue, Dan Novaes showcases an Austrian‑made device that attaches to a guitar neck and mechanically presses the correct strings to form chords at the press of a button, allowing beginners to play instantly without finger pain or confusing hand positions. He uses the device as a concrete example of a broader business insight: many industries suffer from high dropout rates because the initial experience is difficult or frustrating—whether it’s fitness apps, online courses, or music learning. Novaes argues that the most profitable companies are those that eliminate such friction, making hard tasks feel easier, faster, and more enjoyable. He concludes by inviting viewers to follow the UBK channel for more entrepreneurial stories.

In Austria, they created a small device that lets almost anyone play guitar in seconds. You attach it to the guitar neck, press a button, and the device physically pushes down the correct strings to create the chord for you. No finger pain, no confusing hand positions, and no spending months struggling just to play your first song. For beginners, that's a game-changer. Because most people don't quit learning guitar because they hate music. They quit because the beginning feels frustrating and difficult. And that's where the real business lesson is hidden. Every industry has a dropout problem. Fitness apps lose users because workouts feel hard, online courses lose students because learning feels overwhelming, and music learners quit because progress feels slow. The lesson: The people who make the most money are often the ones who remove friction and make difficult things feel easier, faster, and more enjoyable.
