A short YouTube narrative by Dan Novaes recounts how restaurateur Daniel (Danny) Meyer—after opening Union Square Cafe in 1985 and later hits like Gramercy Tavern and Eleven Madison Park—co-founded the Madison Square Park Conservancy and launched a hot-dog cart in 2001 (Shake Shack) to support the park. The temporary cart became a beloved fixture, evolved into a permanent kiosk with expanded menu items, and grew into the Shake Shack chain that went public in 2015 with a first-day market value reported above $1.6 billion. The video presents this arc as an accidental route to making Meyer a billionaire and invites viewers to follow for more entrepreneur stories.
