Utkarsh Narang and a partner debate whether growth requires external change or comes from internal choice. Narang argues that switching jobs, countries, or businesses creates learning opportunities. His counterpart insists becoming better is a personal decision that works in any circumstance.
But if you're not getting challenged enough by life, then maybe change your environment to see whether that's a job, whether that's a country, whether that's a business, whatever that might look like. And over the years, become wiser, because that's what's very important.
Absolutely. I think it's, um, it's very unfair to say that, you know, for us to become a better person, we need a better— a different job, or we need something bad to strike in our life to make us better. Anybody, whenever they realize they can become better self, better self. And, you know, there are so many things that we— one needs to work on all the time. All the time. Like, nobody's perfect. There are so many things that one can work on. So, uh, becoming a better person is just your choice. You don't need like that kind of an environment to force you to do that. Yeah, it's absolutely your choice.
It's a choice. Yeah. And again, luck and conscious choice and karma, all 3 will take you together, I think, is what we're saying. La veterana.
