You know, when I left my first marriage, I had to choose myself in that moment. And everyone told me how perfect my life was from the outside. And on the inside, I was depressed and crying in the shower every morning and truly numb. I was actually numb to life. And when I stepped out of that relationship and said yes to myself, I had a lot of friends fall away. Not because they were friends with my ex, they were my friends, but they were really scared of the reflection of what me choosing myself And I only realized that, you know, studying more human behavior and stepping back from that and going, I was a perfect mirror for them, and they didn't like the flaws they were seeing in their own relationship or how that was looking.
