Hi everyone, my name is Utkarsh and I'm the founder and CEO of Network Capital. I'm here to tell you about the EdTech Fellowship which starts in a few weeks from now. Education is going through a fundamental change. There are new models of education being explored by private companies, public companies, governments alike. But the truth is nobody really knows. We are exploring or witnessing the unbundling of education where education is being broken down into disparate parts and there are different companies and organizations trying to attack different slivers of the problem. What kind of opportunities does that unleash? What can young professionals do to build new kinds of ed tech companies and new kind of EdTech experiences? Is EdTech just test preparation? Even though it's the largest receiver of funding? I think education needs to mean much more. So we've put together a wide range of faculty members doing cutting edge work in the for profit, nonprofit, government and academic space who are all together discovering what does the new normal for education looks like. So in the Network Capital EdTech Fellowship you can attempt or expect to learn from some of the most interesting edtech professionals. We already have, hosted by the likes of Mercedes Benz from Lightspeed Ventures, and you will hear from a bunch of really exciting people doing exciting work and you will be able to carve out a niche for yourself and understand education with the kind of questions and clarity that's required. You may or may not solve the education crisis, but I think the time to start is now to think about what are the phases and waves of disruption in the education happening? What are the areas where you can enter and make a difference? And in the typical Network Capital cohort based fellowship model, this power packed experience will help you understand the sector, understand opportunities, and connect with people who are trying to solve similar problems using similar approaches. I'm really excited by this fellowship and can't wait to have you all there. Thank you very much. Take care, See you soon.
