Hi everyone, my name is Utkarsh. I'm here to tell you about some ideas for powerful public speaking. Public speaking is one of the best investments you can make in your future. Don't believe me? Warren Buffet, one of the most successful investors of our time, says that the best investment he ever made was enrolling in a public speaking class. But what often people miss about effective public speaking is how important great writing is to make that happen. You can of course miss memorize lines and go up on stage and rehearse. But if you have to build up public speaking as a life skill, you need to train yourself with deliberate practice. One to write with clarity and then once you've absorbed the essence of your writing, to translate that into words. Perhaps standing up on stage or making a presentation or trying to convince, influence or motivate somebody. Do not miss the step of writing. In your public speaking journey, it's not just about looking in the mirror or recording videos. If you do not translate your ideas into words, you will struggle to come up with new ideas and you will stammer, you will stutter, you will use filler words and the people who are able to communicate complex ideas. Ideas are often those who spend the time in writing critical thinking and then using that to get to the next level. The journey to becoming a world class public speaker takes takes time. But once you apply the importance of good judgment, persuasiveness, thoughtfulness, intentionality to your words, translate them from your mind onto a piece of paper and then present it on stage, this journey will be a lot more satisfying and record rewarding for you. Do tell us about your adventures with public speaking. If you're struggling with it, then perhaps it's time for you to go back to the drawing board, start with writing and see what happens.
