What's up everybody, Val here. I am so glad to be back home and on my favorite trail here in Central Oregon. I spent the weekend over at Cascade Locks at PCT Days. Shout out to all the amazing, incredible people who put that event on. There was people coming off of the trail with their trail names, their packs. It It was so much fun. We got to meet a lot of really cool people from all over the world. People from Germany, from Slovakia. There were hikers there representing every single country. To just see the love, the vibe— these thru-hikers on the PCT are spending like months out there, and so many of them have been displaced because of fires and other things going on. We got hit with a huge storm yesterday. Rain like I've never seen before, and I grew up in Portland, Oregon, so of course no stranger to the rain, right? No stranger to the rain. I got to represent an incredible company, Ford Bronco. We had so many beautiful Broncos there. We had 2 Bronco Sports. We also had a baby blue Heritage model. This was definitely a fan favorite. They're redesigned to look like the 1970s Broncos. The interior that is very vintage inspired. The whitewall tires. It's a beautiful car. And last but certainly not least, we had the Bronco Raptor, which is an incredible beefy vehicle. For those of you who off-road, y'all know this is a big deal. They are baseline starting out at $92,000, but they come so freaking loaded. This was an absolute treat to be able to experience, see people's reactions, to get feedback on people who actually own this vehicle and are out there crawling the rocks and doing all the cool things. That Broncos are made for. Cascade Locks is definitely a hidden gem. It was right on the Columbia Gorge. It was beautiful. Very, very sleepy town normally. I've only been there like one time when I lived over in the Portland area, but it was a beautiful backdrop. Hikers from all over the world coming off the PCT, the Pacific Crest Trail, to be at this event. It was amazing. We got to meet people from all walks of life all over the world. Thank you to Ford Bronco for allowing me and hiring me on to help out with this event, to do marketing and to bring people into awareness. It was amazing. The drive home was pretty scary. We had to shut down early because there was this huge storm coming in, and I drove right into it coming over Mount Hood, which was a little scary. I made it home, got to sleep in my own bed last night, and I'm so excited to be here with you guys. I love you.
