LET'S BLESS THE ANIMALS - The Woman of Wealth & Worth Summit Is Giving Back In A BIG Way!!!! WOW2020

Oh my goodness, you guys, we're live! I am so excited for this moment, so incredibly pumped. If you just saw me on here, I did not realize I was live. trying to figure out the techie stuff. So let me just make sure that I am sharing this. I am going live from my personal page because I really want to create a huge impact. I want to share with you guys my intention, but let me just share this real fast. I need to put it into my Women of Wealth and Worth group, which is my summit that is going on right now. For those of you who don't know, it is the Women of Wealth and Worth group, and it is going absolutely amazing. We have had such powerhouse women in there. I'm going to be sharing this out to that group. And so we've had such powerhouse women in there all week. We are on day 5 of this journey and it has just been amazing. It's been incredible. And I challenged the women in the group on Monday. I gave a challenge of, you know, send me a video. Let me know what is your favorite cause. I'm going to pull up the screen so that I can be looking for comments from you guys as well. So super interactive. So I have you guys pulled up on here now too. Have you pulled up on here too? So the Women of Wealth and Worth Summit is going on. We're on day 5 right now. It has been absolutely incredible. It has been mind-blowing. And I gave the ladies a very special task. Early on, I said, you know what, this summit is not just about motivating you. It's not just about like inspiring you, getting you excited, but it's also about actually giving you the tools that you desire so that you can go out, make a difference, make a change in your life, make a difference in your life. So what I challenged the girls to do on Monday was to connect me with some sort of cause that they're really lit up about, some sort of cause where they are super passionate about it. And I asked the ladies to email me and let me know what that was for them. So what they did is I got a couple of videos from women who are super passionate about what they were doing, and they have all offered some really incredible videos, which one of those I want to share with you guys right now as we are talking. So let me pull this up on my screen. I'm working with production software, you guys, so hang in with me while I get this going. But, um, this has just been so beautiful. And this is something I just, I cannot wait to share with you guys. My heart is just so full watching these women share about the passions that they have. Hello, my name is Lori Hemmel. I'm from Marquette, Michigan. And I wanted to talk about how I'm passionate about animals. So there's a place here in Marquette, Michigan That is called Upper Peninsula Animal Shelter. They, they are always looking for food, blankets, toys for kitties and for dogs. And they have different programs here in Marquette, but they're always looking for someone to make blankets, to do those certain things that the animal shelter needs. They need food. And they need those kind of things. The reason why I'm passionate about the animals and about the animal shelter is because I was able to get my Kitty Peeps. I used to volunteer there, and so I had a lot of depression and anxiety issues, and so When I was volunteering there, I always went to look for the kitty. I went to look at kitties, and, um, I found this one kitty that I really, really loved, and his name was Peeps.

And so they were able to get Peeps all his shots, and, um, he had a tooth that they needed to remove, and so they did that.

Alright guys, I hope you get a good catch on what this is about right now. I'm going to share with you their site as well. As you can see, they are a local nonprofit organization who is run and staffed by neighbors. It's all volunteer. They make decisions caring for homeless, unwanted, and abandoned abused domestic animals based on their beliefs, what they believe is best for them. This is an animal shelter that does not get any funding. They don't get anything like, you know, they don't get funds. They are all based upon donations. And I reached out to them early yesterday when we decided to, you know, really create a big cause for this animal shelter. I reached out to them. I haven't heard back from them yet, which, you know, because of COVID I know there might be some, some limitations with things that they're doing, but I just really want to show you guys, you know, some of these really adorable animals that they are saving. They're saving from neglect. They are saving from homelessness, like Look at these. Doesn't everybody want a Koda bear or a Daisy in their life? Like, look at Nacho. Look at Petey. Oh my gosh, such a happy little boy at 5 years. He's— they're all living in the shelter. And you guys, they need blankets, they need food, they need people to man. This is in the Upper Peninsula. And I know that not all of us can make it to the shelter to, you know, help, you know, donate our cause or donate our time. However, I know what we can do is we can donate our financial gifts, right? So what I'm challenging you to do, and I'm going on my personal page here to do it because I really want to be able to make this viral so that we can get as much help for them as we can, because these poor little animals, you guys. It just like, it gets my heart. My dog is a, is a rescue dog as well. We got him from the shelter. Well, my husband got him from the shelter before I knew him this time, before we started dating. And, you know, like, he is just the sweetest, most adorable little thing. And I am always just thinking, like, really, who rescued who? So I would love to give back to these— this cause in such a huge way. So I put the Venmo code up right now. You can find our cause at Venmo @wow2020. So if you go to Venmo, you can just do @wow2020. All of the funds are going to go to the Upper Peninsula Animal Shelter, which is helping homeless dogs from homelessness, you know, like abuse, all these situations. We are going to help them in a big way. And the reason why I'm so lit up about this cause is because I'm going to put my money where my mouth is, and I have agreed to my personal company, from my funds, I am going to match every single dollar that comes in. I'm gonna open this up from now until Monday, but if you can donate anything after that, if you donate through the Women of Wealth Summit, if you donate at the Venmo code @wow2020, I am going to match every single dollar that gets donated. So every single dollar that you guys contribute, I am personally gonna match it because this is like the cause for my Women of Wealth and Worth Summit. I not only wanna show up and serve you in a powerful way, and give you all of these tools and these great things to like help propel you into the next level.
