I'll invite a couple of people on here that I know want to be on. So let me know, what are the myths that you hear about building your business? When you hop on, let me know so I can say hello, hello, so that I can give you an amazing shout out and that I can say hi. So let me know when you hop on. And let's see, um, hi Paige! Hey girl, hey! And I think somebody shared it last night, but But you guys know the drill. If you share this live, then I am going to put you in a drawing and you're gonna win an amazing prize. So I'm super excited about the prize today. It's gonna be so great. It's beautiful. Let me grab my papers real quick. Gosh, you know, my voice is going away. I didn't know that's possible, but I think the last time my voice went away, I was after Tony Robbins. So yeah, I've been talking a lot. I've been talking a lot the last couple days, and I just wanna thank everyone who came in on yesterday. That was super fun, and I'm gonna be raw and vulnerable and super honest with you guys. I was not feeling it when I got on, and you know, this is just the truth about entrepreneurship. You're not gonna feel it every single day. You are not gonna be super stoked about doing whatever it is that you're required to do or need to do or promised to do every single day, but you show up and you do it regardless. Because as you guys know, yesterday, if you did watch yesterday anyway, it was so much fun, And it was so incredibly rewarding. You know, once I got on, got past my feelings, right? Once I got past the feeling, and I don't know if you guys could tell in my energy when I hopped on. I just I wasn't. I wasn't feeling it yesterday when I hopped on. My husband and I had just had this really, you know, just like I don't know if like emotional intensity is the right word because it was just a discussion between two people that are trying to make a relationship work. While we are building businesses, you know. I mean, it's just that's just how it was, you know. And so it was, I guess, a little bit emotionally draining, but I'm not really even sure that's the right word. But it was just it was emotional, I guess, you know. And I'll go into that more. But I honestly was not really feeling it when I hopped on yesterday. And then there was a shift because of you guys, because you guys where I got super into it. It was a great conversation. We had So much fun. And so thank you guys so much. And that is the power of, you know, not letting your feelings— oops, I just moved something and it switched— not letting your feelings dictate whether or not you show up in your business, because it's not about that. It's not about you, right? It's not about you. It's about the people you serve, and it's about the energy and the creation that you're responsible for putting out there in the world. So So, all right, let me get started. For those of you— oh gosh, you guys, I'm so sorry. I'm trying to like move things around here and it's not really working out. Don't you love Facebook Lives? Woo! Anything can happen. It's amazing. All right guys, so I have this super cute— I know you've seen one of these before, but this is what I'm gonna be giving away today. I got a few of these because I felt really called to, you know, encourage as many women as I can to create a beautiful Amazing 2020. You can map out your weekly list and then you have your monthly list as well. And then there's some really cute like marble paper and stuff in here too. And of course leopard print because we're the wild tribe, right? So if you share this live, I'm going to enter you into the drawing and you're going to win this. And not to mention, you're going to win this beautiful 2020 planner, and I'm going to write you an amazing message in here that's going to just like inspire you and motivate you all year long to freaking rock it out, because I know you will. I know that you will. So Share this live either right now or share it in if you're watching on replay because I know it's Saturday and you guys are probably out doing all kinds of fun things. So share it and I will enter you into the drawing. So yeah, let's talk about your non-negotiables in your business. I want to dispel the myths and I want to dispel the myths around building your business because there is a lot of buzzwords out there about like hustle. You know, 10x, 100x, you know, whatever it is. And there's this false belief that I hear come up quite a bit in networks or circles I'm in, or women I'm around, men I'm around, that there is this— you have to somehow sacrifice, right? You have to somehow sacrifice what it is that is important to you, like your family, your kids, your free time, your evenings, your weekends, your whatever, who you are, in order to build a business. Hey Rachel, hello, hello. I don't know if you saw this. I know you already have a planner, but I'm giving away this beautiful sparkly planner that is much like the one that you got that was leopard print. Super cute. You can always give it as a gift. You never know. You can always give it as a gift. So I will enter you in the drawing. Thank you so much for sharing. So how many, what kind of, I wanna hear from you guys. What kind of false beliefs had you have, or I'm sorry, I hope that made sense. What kind of false beliefs have you had about building a business or that you commonly hear out there? What are the false beliefs that you hear about building a business? Because honestly, you guys, I hear so many. I hear so many, and people look at the margin of things that I have going on in that are on my plate right now, and they're like, "Oh my gosh! Where when do you ever have time? When do you ever get to you know have free time or you know exercise?" Because you guys, that is one of my non-negotiables. I work out at least every other day. I know that we have another amazing woman on here, Paige, that just you know kills it in her workout areas and has a kid. And travels across the country to see her husband. So, you know, it's, it's one of those non-negotiables in my business where I definitely— I have free time. I do. Like, I have amazing time to be able to take care of my health, to make sure that I'm buying healthy food, to make sure that— I mean, you guys, this is like one of the things that's really important to me, but my husband and I eat dinner together Almost 365 days a year. Like, okay, maybe that's not true because I do travel. And, um, but you know, as much as we can, like, it's literally— I schedule my day around the fact that I can make dinner with him and we can sit down and have real conversation and connect. And I love cooking dinner because it is, um, you know, it's, it's like my way to transition from work into being at home with my family, you know, being at home with my husband, being at home with my dog. And it's something that is just really important for me, you know, it's important for me. And so what are your— let's see what the people are saying about— so Paige says the market is oversaturated. Yes, absolutely. That is something I hear all the time. And it is also a huge excuse for people to Not try. I mean, if you're honest, like I actually had a a client this summer who would tell me that same thing. You know, she would say, and I love her dearly, and we worked through these mindset beliefs. So this is not something that's like I'm knocking her. But she would tell me, like nobody wants to do this right now. She was a health coach, and she'd say, "Well, nobody wants to buy in the summer. They're too busy going out doing things. They're too busy." you know, exercising outside and doing these things and nobody's at home buying. And I looked at her and I said, you know, that's a really interesting thought that you think that, but I want to let you know that, you know, at this point July had been my biggest month ever. And I got to show her that. She goes, yeah, but it's different for you because, you know, you're you, you're where you're at. And I said, no, no, no, do not put me on a pedestal because that's an excuse you can create to think that you're different from me because you're not. There's nothing different. As a matter of fact, you have a certain thing on the end of your name that that you're smart, you know, makes you smarter than me. It makes you, you know, whatever. You don't have to be the smartest. You don't have to be the richest. You don't have to be the the most incredible. You just need to know your craft and speak to the right audience because that's ninety percent of what's going on out there, you guys. And I know this from experience that you. You know, I work with women who are in real world, I guess real world jobs. Like I work with a couple of real estate agents. I work with mortgage brokers. I work with people who are have brick and mortar buildings and they sell things in real life. And then I work with people online. And you know, there's an excuse there. I mean, you could create that excuse for sure. But 90% of what's going on is you don't have the right. Audience in front of you and you're not speaking to the right people. And maybe you're not speaking in a way that they pay attention or that they realize, you know, what it is that you offer, what you bring to the world. And that's 90% of the biggest block that I see people, um, who are, you know, not making the sales that they want. Rachel says If you draw me, you can redraw today or just put my name in the big jar instead of today's drawing. Hugs, so sparkly. Yay! Well, if I pick you, I was gonna say I probably have something else around here that you could, that I could put you for. So yeah, you know, it's so funny when we talk about like the non-negotiables in your business because leading back to how I started this live was that You know yesterday when I hopped on this live, I was just kind of feeling it's not like an emotional overwhelm or like an emotional draining, but I was I wasn't really feeling it when I hopped on because my husband and I had just just sat down and had this conversation that was beautiful. It was amazing, and it was something that we needed to do in order to you know really move forward in both of our business processes because you know he has. We're in year two of a five-year plan of him taking over a company, and then of course you know I'm building my business as well. And things have shifted, you know things have really shifted in the fact that I was not planning on traveling until the spring. Like I was literally like, yay! November's over, no more travel for me. I'm going to be home. And then through a series of events, you know that that switched, that changed, and I have. Gosh, in the last week I've booked one, two, three, four, five different flights over the next four months. Like five flights over the next four months because of you know opportunities that I'm getting to do, which is amazing. I am definitely not like I'm I'm saying yeah amazing, but how that works is that you know I got to sit down with my husband and say you know how are you feeling about this? How are you feeling about me traveling so much? Because I know you're not super stoked about it. As a matter of fact, I was going to be gone from December third until December twelfth. I'll be in California, and he was not super happy about that. Like, oh my gosh! That's a long time for you to be gone. Like, I just I don't know if that's gonna work. Like, I I mean, I'm not gonna hold you back. He's never gonna hold me back. But he was like. That's a really long time for you to be gone, and I wasn't expecting that. And so we came up with this really great solution where he's able to come down for an extended weekend and hang out with me in La Jolla. So we're going to be on the beach, we're going to be staying at this beautiful hotel that is like palm trees and spas and waterfalls. And if you guys were following me when I went to Palm Desert, it's kind of like that, like it's like that Marriott, but it's It's a Sheridan, so it's going to be gorgeous, right? So we found a solution instead of either one of us sitting in that, you know, like him being upset or me just being like, you know what, creating a story around it. We got to find a solution together that worked, and we're both really excited about it. We're going to spend a little bit of vacation in between, you know, like Christmas, Thanksgiving, and we get to travel because my husband doesn't like big crowds. So we were planning something during the winter anyway, but But let's be honest, traveling during the holidays is big crowds. You know, you're taking a gamble on your on whether or not you can get flights and all these things. And then if you get delayed, you know, all of these things that happen during travel. So my point in sharing that is that yesterday around I don't know like three o'clock or something, we we sat down and we talked. And I said, okay, so how about if excluding December because I'm traveling a lot in December, um, you know, in the new year let's make a goal. Let's make some non-negotiables for this relationship to work out because building a relationship is exactly the same. Building a successful relationship is exactly the same as building a successful business. That's just it, you guys. It's the same energy, it is the same personal leadership, and it is the same Risk-taking. It's the same negotiating, and it's the same creating non-negotiables that you do in your business. I mean, you guys, it is exactly the same. I use the exact same. You know, like I don't want to say techniques because it's my marriage, but you know what I mean? Like I use the exact same techniques as I would with a client. I ask for feedback. I ask for what's working. I ask for what's not working. I recognize. A gap. I recognize something that might be happening that's gonna create a fire or you know whatever before it happens. And so we got to sit down. I said, "Okay, what are the non-negotiables?" And he said, "You know, I'm I love that you're traveling. I am so excited that because he's known you know all along, he's known exactly what my vision was. I keep continuously talking about it and bringing it up and saying, you know, my vision is that he would be able to travel with me." Like that is my ultimate vision, that he would be able to, um, you know, I would be on all these speaking gigs and I'd have my assistant with me and he'd be able to travel with me. Hey Lauren! Hello, hello girl. Um, yeah, so that's my vision. However, when the rubber hit the road and things have happened so quickly, things are changing so quickly in my business and with my life and, um, you know, becoming an international speaker and doing all these things that are really shifting. It's, um, things have changed, you know. So we got to sit down and talk about that. And I said, you know, I would rather us talk about this now before it becomes an issue. And thank God, you know, I have this husband that has amazing emotional intelligence, as do I. We both have the emotional intelligence to be able to like not get in this heated argument. As a matter of fact, we've never gotten into heated arguments We've discussed. We've you know allowed each other to battle it out without being personal. You know, but we do. We do that. We have that emotional intelligence to be able to move forward. Hey Lauren, thank you so much for sharing. I am going to enter you in this drawing for this beautiful sparkly. She created the life she loves. Amazing 2020 journal. I can and I will, and you're gonna be able to plan out your year and do amazing things with your to-do list, your weekly list, and all of that. Oh my gosh, Christina just popped on too. Hello, hello, Christina. I'm so glad we finally got some things on the books. You are amazing. And let me tell you, the reason why I'm traveling to Australia and New Zealand is because of my summit. So girl, you know I am rooting for you. It's gonna be amazing. So Lauren, I'll put you in the drawing. And not to mention, I'm gonna write you a personal message in it that's gonna make you a rock star for the rest of the year. I know sparkly is my favorite color. Glitter is my favorite color. And there's all these cute little adorable things. And there's a leopard print. I'll show you. Oh, I can't see it. But there's a leopard print page for the Wild Tribe. And then you can plan out your year. It's amazing. So cute. I'm gonna put your name in. So you guys, my point in sharing all this, and if you've missed it, go ahead and go back and, you know, watch this because it's important information about your non-negotiables in your business when you build your business, especially as women. Because I used to be the type of woman, you guys, I am suffering from lone wolf— yeah, lone wolf syndrome. Thank you, Christina. I will put you in the drawing as well. You guys, this is so exciting. Oh my gosh, perfect. I'm putting you in. Thank you so much for sharing. So, you know, I used to suffer from this lone wolf syndrome where, um, because of beliefs I had, I used to have this really strong edge. Like, really strong edge, you guys. Like, um, total Type A personality. Like, um, oh my gosh. I wouldn't allow men in. And I'm not bashing men, I promise. God has changed my heart so much in this, especially when I was finally ready. I was finally ready to let a great man in. Boom, my husband appeared, right? Or reappeared, I should say. And I used to be this lone wolf where I didn't let people in. I mean, I had friends, I had girlfriends, but I would always keep people at a distance. And so I was like that. Like I wasn't gonna, you know, I would, I didn't let men have opinions on my plans or anything like that. And I hope that this isn't sounding really mean toward men because I don't, I'm not trying to say that. But you know, God's changed my heart in that a lot. God has changed my heart and has shown me how amazing it is to have a partner in life that fully supports me and can have these conversations with me, you know. And So, you know, like, it's, it's great when you're able to really find that edge, right? When you find your edge and you're able to, like, dispel some of those beliefs that you may have around building your business. Like Paige said earlier, the market's oversaturated. Or, you know, one of the biggest things I see is that there's this, this fear There's a scarcity mindset that comes up that might tell you that if I build my business, if I spend so much time pouring into my business, then I'm gonna lose. And what I mean by that is I'm gonna lose the time with my kids, which means I'm a bad mom. You guys, these are real things I hear from people all the time. I'm going to not be able to support my family. I am going to not going to be able to have free time. I'm not going to be able to have me time. I'm not going to be able to. You know what if there's too many expectations and I'm not able to deliver and I'm going to lose? There's a scarcity mindset in that, you guys, and I'm just I'm sharing from the heart. There's a scarcity mindset in that, and I too used to believe a lot of those things. I too used to get in so much overwhelm when I would book a new client because I was so afraid that you know something was going to happen and I wasn't going to be able to fulfill the promise of the scheduling. Like scheduling was my biggest edge. Like I'd be like, oh my gosh, they just signed up for three months. They just signed up for six months. What if something comes up and I'm not able to meet every single Thursday at 10? You know, like these things that used to go through my mind before I did the work that I needed to do to like get that toughness, that mental toughness. I used to believe that if I took any time away from my business, if I wasn't sitting and being productive all of the time, I used to believe I was gonna lose. I used to believe that if I didn't return every single message right away or or every single comment right away, or make myself available till, you know, 10 o'clock at night where I'm, you know, not spending time with my family and I'm not taking care of myself, or I'm not saying, you know, I don't take clients before 9 AM because my morning routine is so important to me that if I don't do that, if I don't wake up, do prayer and meditation, set my intentions for the day, write my goals and figure out what, you know, what is the best use of my time so that I'm focusing on the right things, my whole day goes to crap. You know, those are the, those are the days that when I don't focus on the right things, which, um, you guys, as the CEO of my business, I am constantly focused on like 1 or 2 things. That's it. That's it. 1, maybe 2 things. And they're the right things. They are the right things to build my business and to make money. That's it. And that goes in 3-month cycles, like 3-month cycles. Like, it's all figured out. It's so easy. It's so much easier than how I used to complicate everything and try and figure out, you know, I would look at this person's, um, funnel method and try and figure out what is it, what is the that's working for them? What is it that's going on? Or, you know, I would spin my wheels going around in circles trying to figure out like which networking event do I need to go to? What do I need to put myself out there? What do I need to do to fill this calendar? And you know, you start scrolling through Facebook or doing whatever and you spend hours on the wrong things. And that's what used to hang me up. That's what used to hang me up before. Now, you know, as a CEO, Like I said, I focus on one, maybe two things. That's it. The rest of it is just noise. The rest of it is just doesn't even need to be, and my energy doesn't even need to be on it. And as you guys know, if you've been following me for a while, I have taken a week off every single month excluding October for the past seven months, and my plan is to continue that. And what that did for me is it proved that I don't have to constantly be creating. I don't have to constantly be grinding. I don't have to constantly be pouring myself in every. Direction because I am the CEO of my company and you are the CEO of your company. And what that has proven to me is that not only can you get way more done when you focus on the right things, when you, when you're pouring your energy into the right activities that are going to produce, produce the biggest results Then your relationship doesn't suffer. You guys, my husband and I, like I said, we just had this conversation yesterday that just lit me up because it was so honest, it was so raw, it was so emotionally intelligent where we were just like talking and, you know, this is how I feel and this is what's going to work and this is not what's going to work. And we planned out, you know, for the next 6 months since I'm traveling a lot Let's try this. Let's try me being away no more than four nights a week, unless if it's international travel, which I'm doing in April. Then you know, let's work on me being away one time a week or one one week a month. You know, if that, let's see how it works and let's readjust and let's readjust as it comes up instead of you know like. You getting like this is me talking to my husband. You getting resentful that I'm traveling, and then and he's not the type that hold it in. Believe me, he's we're very honest with each other. But like I don't want something to stew and fester for months until all of a sudden we're blowing up, and that that doesn't work, right? So we had this conversation about what is 2020 going to look like? What is 2020 going to look like when I'm in San Diego, and then I'm um you know I'm traveling up to Seattle. I'm speaking at a conference for Fearless Women, and then I'm gonna be— I also got asked to speak in Portland because they're like, oh well, you're— well, okay, it was backwards. I got asked to speak in Portland, Oregon, and then they said, oh well, would you be open to Seattle? And I said, heck yeah, I'll go see a Mariners game. Shoot, schedule me, book me. So, um, you know, I'm gonna be traveling, but he gets to go with me at that point. And, you know, just talking about these things that might come up, it's the exact same in your business. It's the exact same in your business. Let me read some of these comments. Lauren, I want to go to Australia, New Zealand. Yes, girl! Oh my gosh, I cannot wait to share with you guys all the details. It's gonna be amazing. It's called the Miracle Makers Cruise, and I am going with these amazing, incredible women. For those of you who watched my summit, if you saw Dr. Leslie Wells, she talked about creating a little piece of heaven on earth. Well, we connected like this. We became like soul sisters right away. And it's funny because we were talking before we did our interview and then after we did our interview, and the funniest thing happened. She's telling me about how she's a twin, which I'm not really a twin, but I grew up with a twin, right? Like, I grew up with a twin brother who was my stepbrother, and we're a month apart by the day. So she's a twin, and I'm like, oh my gosh, that's so crazy. Like, I explained the situation. We're not really twins, but we Grew up like twins. So she's a twin. She told me a story about how she manifested her husband, and I said, "Oh my gosh! So did I." Like literally, I manifested my husband. And then she told me about how she manifested her business, and I said, "Oh my gosh! So did I." Like literally, those of you—I'm sorry if you know this story. I'm sure you guys do. But you know, in February of 2018. When I was killing it, you know, I was in a corporate job and I had just reached the highest, you know, like we were full, everything was going great, I was making great money. And I'm sitting there, it's in a February morning in 2018, and God gives me this, this revelation. Like, God showed me— oh my gosh, you guys, I'm about to cry. Holy crap, I didn't even realize how, how crazy this is, but God showed me a vision Okay, I didn't know this was gonna happen, but February of 2018, God showed me a vision where I was gonna be standing on stage speaking in front of thousands of women and talking about him. And you guys, it just hit me that that's what I'm doing in April. Like, whoa, that is so weird. Um, so God showed me that I was gonna be standing on a stage talking in front of thousands of women, sharing how great he is and what he's doing in my life and what he's done in my life and how he can do it in yours too. And, um, It didn't make sense to me. Like I said, I was in a corporate job that I— there was nothing like— I liked it. Yeah, it was stressful, but that's a corporate job, right? There was never a point, um, there was never a point where I was like, I'm out, I'm done. Like, it wasn't that way. It was literally that God gave me this vision one February morning 2018, and, um, I didn't understand it. I had no idea how it was going to work, you guys. So this is proof That if you don't know how, if God's giving you a huge vision, if you have a huge vision and you don't understand how it's going to work, you don't have to. Because that was my first thing. I questioned it. I said, how? How is this going to work? I had a ton of fear because in 2014 I had gotten hugely successful coaching executives and I ended up sabotaging it and I went back to corporate because I got overwhelmed and I didn't know how to handle that much success. At the time, so I was in a lot of fear around that. Like I can't go in my business full time. I was treating this job. I was treating my coaching like a side gig for a long time, and you know I didn't know how. And so I literally was like, okay, I trust you, and I'm gonna do the next right thing. That's all I knew how to do. Like I didn't know how it was gonna happen. I didn't know what it was gonna look like. I didn't know anything. And I like I said, I was in a corporate job. I was making great money. I had the great title. I was, you know, it was great. Like, there was no reason for me, and it didn't make sense, right? So Rachel knows this part of it, but like, this is why. So I said, okay, I'm gonna go join Toastmasters because I'm supposed to speak, right? So I took— I joined Toastmasters. I walked into Toastmasters either March or April that year, and, um, things started changing, and things started progressing, and things started moving, and I started getting clients right away. And, you know, by April, I'm telling my husband that I need— my plan is within a year, I'm giving myself a year because I was stockpiling a lot of cash in my corporate job. You know, like I have— my expenses are low, we don't have any debt. Um, I was stockpiling cash and I was like, okay, so I'm gonna stockpile cash and let's say a year, a year, I'm gonna give myself a year and then I'm gonna go into business full-time. And he was like, okay, I don't know anything about entrepreneurship. You're the one with that background. You've helped people build their businesses. I'm gonna trust you on this. Like, I am gonna trust you. He's a mechanical engineer. He doesn't, you know, like everything's very logical and numbers, and he wants to see it before he goes and does anything, right? Like, he wants to see it. And, um, by May I went on this camping trip, and, um, I was, I was walking. My husband was building something with some guys on that camping trip. It was so funny. Oh my gosh, he was, he had just bought this brand new truck, and they built this like rack system, and he got the guys from our, our church group who were camping with us to go build it with him. So I was like, all right, peace, I'm going on a walk with my dog. And in that moment, like, I was walking and I was doing all these affirmations, and I remember that feeling, you guys, like it was yesterday. Like, it takes me back. And I was like, I'm so terrified, I am so scared. And I remember just like looking around because I live in this beautiful area in Central Oregon, and like I could see the water, just, you know, the beautiful water going by. And I could see my dog, and he's just having so much fun. And I'm looking around just being like, God, you created all this. You created everything. And why couldn't you help me create This thing that you're showing me, and I got back from that camping trip, and I typed up my letter. I had to give a thirty-day notice because I was a key management person, and I remember typing up my letter and like sliding it across my boss's desk and feeling so terrified, like my heart's racing, and I'm like, oh my gosh! I wanted to like pull it back, right? Like I wanted to just be like, no, I'm just kidding. I need this job. Like, no, I'm just joking. But I knew that I had a bigger responsibility. I knew that I had a bigger responsibility because what if I didn't? What if I didn't allow myself to try? I would have hated myself forever, you know? So Christina says, it is so wonderful when your spouse can support you in whatever you do. Yes. Oh my gosh, and it's reciprocated, reciprocated, let me tell you. I love that. I so needed this too. Oh my gosh, I'm so glad. Lauren, you're a twin too? Oh my goodness. Disclaimer, I'm not really a twin. However, my twin brother, my twin brother is, um, a month older to me to the day. So, um, we grew up and we would like tell people we were twins, and we totally were. Rachel says, I think it's a part of my problem. I'm trying to build a business alone. No mentor, no partner, no spouse mentor. Yes, and I do not share that, Rachel, because I know that that's— you don't have to have a spouse that supports you. As a matter of fact, my spouse doesn't give me financial support, and I hope that doesn't sound weird, but I know I've talked about this before, but we're, we're very independent in that way. Like, I don't want him to ask me permission if he goes out and buys a new boat or fishing poles, which he does all the time. Like, literally, you guys, I'm telling his secrets right now. He gets so many Amazon packages. I'm just like, oh my gosh, if he was a dinosaur, his name would be Amazon Prime. Like, literally. Um, and I don't want him to have to, you know, ask me or whatever. And, you know, with my business, like, it's— we, we're separate. Like, our finances are very separate. However, we definitely emotionally support each other. And, um, yeah. I will never build my business alone ever again. Like, I tried it from 2014. That's why I ended up like sabotaging, pulling back, and going back to corporate. Um, since I've had this business, since I've revamped my business since, um, February 2018, that was the first thing I did. I got in a group coaching program, and that was a 6-month-long program, and I, I stayed. And then I signed up with this woman for 6 more months. In a mastermind group, and then I had other business another business coach. And then when I realized that I needed to get to the next level, I hired my current coach, who is like multiple seven-figure earner. And that's it. Like I will never ever go without some sort of mentor, preferably business coach if that's what you're looking for. Never. I will never do it again because it is so important and. I wasted so much time spinning my wheels, allowing myself to believe that my emotions were real. And I mean that in the way that like I believe in emotions, believe me, like feel your feelings, go through your emotions, do what you need to do. But I mean the emotions I would feel about like, oh, I don't feel like, oh, you know, I just don't feel like pouring myself in my business today. Oh, you know, I'm really feeling anxiety, or gosh, I'm kind of down, or you know, I Just things I would do, like I would let myself off the hook a lot. I would let myself off the hook a lot, and I kind of I'm the type of person like I need somebody because I have my business coach and then I have another business mentor who I check in with regularly. And I'll be honest with you guys, I literally schedule a call with her just to say Samantha. Her name's Samantha. She's beautiful. I say Samantha. I booked a call with you today because I don't want to book a call with you, and I know whenever I'm trying to lone wolf it, I need to get my crap in check. So I'm booking a call with you just so I'm current, just so I'm on the phone with you. And or you know, I've booked a call with her and just been like, "Look, I'm pretending I'm trying to tell myself a story that I'm in overwhelm, and I just need to say it out loud. I just need to tell say it out loud." That I'm creating a story around this being hard, and I know it's only because I've never done it before. And I find myself trying to give my get myself off the hook in different ways about like you guys. I work from home, so it's so easy for me to walk out into my living room and be like, oh, I need to vacuum. Oh, I need to go take my dog for a walk. Oh, I need to do the dishes. Oh, you know all these things that can easily take you off track. But I just that's I have that mentor that I check in with two or three times a month. That's you know in addition to my business coach that I just call myself out. You know it's it's so amazing how it works. Lauren gives me lots of hearts and woo woo girl woo woo. Christina says amazing faith and love. Thank you so much, Lauren. I just got chill bumps from your message. Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. I love you so much. Christina says, do the next right thing. I feel like I'm doing this all the time, but I'm not sure exactly where it's going. Yes, and you don't always have to know. Um, well, I'll say there's a crossroads. There's a crossroad of not knowing how you're going to get to where you, you're going, right? Because that is one of the biggest things as an entrepreneur is being Flexible, being able to let go of how. You know, I teach this a lot in my Book to Bay Business Tribe and in the Women of Wealth program. Ooh, which reminds me, I have to tell you guys something. I'm so excited. So yeah, there's a crossroads. You know, there's a crossroad that I feel like every successful entrepreneur lives at. There's the detachment from needing to know how. That was one of the biggest things my business coach, my current business coach, put me through that right away. She put me through three months of training me how to let go of needing to know how. That's not my nature, you guys. That is not my nature. She trained me for three months on letting go of the need to know how, and. You also need a crossroad of, which is a lot of what I teach, the crossroad of taking the right actions. Because there's a difference between not really knowing how it's going to work out, so you're just kind of like throwing spaghetti against the wall or spinning your wheels or going in circles, and taking the intentional actions. Remember what I talked about earlier in this, um, how I focus on one, maybe two things? That's it. That is it. Because I value my time, because I like to have full energy. You guys see how like, whoo, I am during these calls. I show up even bigger with my clients, and I— it is my responsibility to show up in full energy with them so that it's all about their business. They can get the most out of their time so that they can get, you know, just Amazing rockstar results, and I also don't want to be the type of person like I used to be when I was in corporate where I come home grumpy. Granted, I work from home, but I don't want my husband to come home and have a grumpy wife, and you know take things out on him that aren't even his issue. I've been there. I was doing that in my corporate job. I would be stressed. I would be. Um, you know, like, I, I've done that, and I do not want— I don't want that in our relationship. I don't want that with my friendships. I don't want that with the people around me. I want to feel with integrity with who I am. I want to feel like when I say I'm the same exact person on this live as I am if you're in my living room, as I am if you see me, um, in the streets, as I am if you see me, you know, wherever, like I want to— I remain in that integrity because that's important for me. Hi Carol, if you're on here. Oh my goodness. And Miriam, hello, hello. Sharice, hello, hello. Rachel says, I love Amazon. That's a good point. Support is important. Absolutely, because people don't understand. People do not understand what it takes to be an entrepreneur unless you have other entrepreneurs. It's the truth. It's the true, true truth. Oh my goodness. Oh goodness, I just dropped you guys. Holy cow, so sorry about that. Geez, leaving with a bang here. So just proof, if you guys are afraid to go on a Facebook Live because you're worried you might mess up, don't worry, don't worry. Things happen. We all get it. We all get it. So I am going to be raffling off— I'll let you guys know one more time before I do this. Okay, I obviously did not set this up very well because it's been kind of lopsided here. All right, ladies, so I'm going to be raffling off this super cute, really adorable journal and planner for 2020 so that you can rock it out. You guys are gonna fill this up. There's weekly planner, to-do list. All you got to do is share. You know the drill. Just share this live because I know there are people out there that want to hear it, and I'm sure that you know some people who want to hear it. Um, Sharice says, yep, she means that she's the same amazing wonderful person everywhere. I love you, I love you so much. Oh my gosh, you're one of my favorite people in the world. I hope you know that. Um, so yeah, just share this live and I'm gonna put you in the drawing for this super cute planner. Chi Chi shared. Girl, I feel like I have been, um, sending you so many gifts. It's amazing. I love it. Chi Chi. I literally like went to the post office the other day and they're like, um, what are you like an Amazon seller? They're like, we've seen you in here like every day this week. And I'm like, yeah, pretty much. Oh, I love you too, Chi Chi. Thank you, thank you, thank you. So I would love to share with you guys real quick as well if you're open to it. Um, well, I'm gonna be announcing this on Monday, but I am going to be sharing with you guys, um, if you're on my email list then I'm going to share it with you first thing in the morning. Otherwise, I'm going to have to wait until later on in the afternoon to come on and tell you guys about it live. So if you're not on my email list and you want to be, I will email you like 2 times a week just to let you know. But I give you tons of great content. I give you amazing exclusive offers. I email out my Giving Friday link so you guys can like sign up for free business coaching on Fridays, 30-minute session. I give those out, you know, very sporadically. Um, I would say like once or twice a month usually. But if you want to be on my email list, just message me and let me know because I'm going to be announcing something super exciting on Monday. So excited for— and I think hearing this conversation and the conversation we've had over the last couple days, this is exactly what some of you guys are going to want. I know this. I know it. And it's going to be an amazing fit for a lot of you guys. Um, It'll really open up your vulnerability. And the reason why you want to be— oh great, yeah, message me your email address and I will definitely put you on my email list. I think I saw something. My assistant said she saw a form you filled out on my website, I believe. So I'm gonna be looking at that here in today or tomorrow. But yeah, I think I saw something come through on my email list, so I will definitely— I'll put you on my email list. Open up your vulnerability, and the reason why I teach entrepreneurs how to open up their vulnerability is because that's how you connect. That's how you connect with your clients in such a deep, real level that you start pulling out the people that you want to work with. And I mean this in the fact that when I used to be really general, you know, I used to want to help everybody. Like I was like, I can just help everybody with everything and do all the things and blah blah blah. And the thought of limiting myself. Like, I would literally be worried when my coach would say, you need to narrow your message a little bit, you need to get more specific on your message. I'd be like, but I don't want to keep anybody out. Like, I don't want to hold— no, I don't want to keep anybody out, right? I remember being so afraid to talk about my faith and talk about God and what God's done in my life because I was so afraid that somebody was— oh my gosh, it's so silly to me now, but this was real. Like, I was so afraid that, um, if I talked about God and someone got upset, that they might not hire me. You guys, currently I have a one-on-one client who is an atheist. It has never gotten in the way. It has never. The way I coach her is a little bit different than I coach like my clients that we talk about scripture and we talk about Bibles and we talk about like we pray, you know, like that's some things that I incorporate with some of my clients, right? But it's totally different. And I used to be so afraid that I would leave someone out and I would like somehow miss money, miss that opportunity, then that I was afraid to talk about God on my lives. Like, it was— it's silly to me today, but this is a real fear that I watch other women walk through the same types of processes, right? And, um, you know, the fact that this is like a big catalyst of how I got to where I am today, um, Is gosh, I'm just I'm just so lit up by your guys' messages. I keep like looking at them like oh my gosh, you guys are amazing. You know that's a big catalyst. As a matter of fact, you know my local my pastor who is unfortunately being called to bigger better things, he was a huge catalyst of helping me get on stages and be confident because he asked me first he asked me to get on stage every weekend and share announcements. And then he challenged me to get on stage and start preaching, and I said yes, you know. And God kept opening those doors, and God kept doing these things to the fact where, you know, I, I don't want to talk about this yet, but there's been other things that have opened up, you know, as far as that. And then like me speaking at— gosh, I have like 4 conferences booked this year so far, next year 2020, you know, just these amazing things. And That is why I encourage you to be vulnerable as an entrepreneur. If you have a message, I know your message matters. I know your message matters, and I know that you have something so unique. I'm looking at all of your bubbles, and I know each one of you. I know, you know, a little bit or a lot about your stories, and I know that you have a message that matters. I know that you have something to share with the world that you Only you can share. And I know that you have a desire in your heart to not just create income, but to create impact, to create something bigger than you, to help other women and men if you work with men. But I know that you have something in your heart that's calling you so much deeper, and that is why I encourage women to get vulnerable. To get clear on their message so that you can make the shift. Because how many of us get that— those emails or those messages or those comments that are like, you're so inspiring, oh my gosh, I love everything you put out, I love this, I love that, and all these things, but your followers don't convert to sales? So if you're feeling that If you're feeling that, like, okay, people love my stuff, people reach out to me, they comment, they— or maybe they're not. Maybe, you know, you don't have the interaction or the engagement that you crave. Maybe you don't have that engagement you crave. Then, you know, getting clear on your message is going to help that. Getting clear on your message will help you whether you're selling a program, a summit, If you're selling a product, you know, I've worked with all kinds: health coaches. I've worked with other coaches. I've worked with people who sell essential oils. I've worked with people who are, you know, selling coaching systems. I've worked with people who are real estate agents. Gosh, I could go on and on. Like I work with a lot of different types of women, and on Monday, like I said, I'm going to email this out first thing in the morning. So if you You want to be on my email list, just let me know. No pressure. You can you can unsubscribe at any time. We're still friends. We're still good. No worries. But send me your email address, and I am going to share the juicy secrets on how to turn your followers into clients, how to turn your likes into cash in the bank. And I'm gonna share that secret with you guys on Monday. I'm gonna reveal something. I'm so excited. So. Let me read some of these comments before I open it up. And did I see someone else share this? Oh, Charisse, you shared it, right? Yeah. Yes, I didn't put you in though yet. I love you guys so much. You guys seriously just like make my day. Charisse Martin, beautiful, beautiful. Now I'm singing to you. I love it. Um, God opens doors. Amen, amen. Oh, just finished a series about being bold for Jesus. I love that. Yes, girl. Yes, I love my bold, audacious women. Let me tell you, love it, love it. Christina says January 1st will be one full year that I have been doing a Faith Encouragement Monday video in my group. Oh my gosh, I love that. Wow, and congratulations on the consistency. That is something that is definitely going to give you the competitive edge because a lot of people aren't consistent, especially in their groups. Yes, include me. Yeah, girl, I think you're on my email list. Pretty sure, but I will definitely yeah make sure you get that as well. So that is amazing. I love that that you started. Gosh, celebrate somehow. However you celebrate, celebrate on that day like you've never celebrated before, and. Go back and like, I don't know, like I— this is what I would do. I would encourage you to like go on a live or something, or write a cool post, or, you know, really just like put it out there, all the amazing things that have shifted for you and all the amazing things that have happened in that year that you did that. Because that is so amazing, and that's a great way to like lead with generosity. And just, you know, like I love blessing other people with letting them know how doing something has like shifted for me. Gosh, which reminds me, I should probably do that myself. So absolutely, you guys, I love you so, so much. Let me, um, get this on here. I'm like going on and on because my husband's not home, so I get to like just rant and rave and do all the things. And of course, because I do this every single day, I dropped one of the, um, people on the floor. So let me pick it up real quick. All right. That was so weird. I swear I do that every single day. I guess I shouldn't shake it as much as I do, right? All right, ladies, we are auctioning off— or not auctioning, we are giving away this super cute planner that you're gonna fill up with so many amazing things in 2020. I know it, I feel it. All right, and the winner is Rachel Marshall. Oh no, Rachel, do you want it or do you want me to put you in the big jar? Let me know, let me know, because I know you already have one of these that I'm hand delivering to you on Monday. So let me know if you want me to, um, or I can give you something else. I don't know, let me know. I'll wait for your comment real quick. All right, let me know. Email me. Let me know if you want me to give you the planner, put you in the big jar, or what, and then I will do that. I love how Facebook has delays. So again, have your non-negotiables and goals in your business. Know when to shut your phone off. Ladies, know when to shut your phone off, know when to shut down work, and know when to be present with your family. Know when to, um, say no, even if it— you know, don't be a people pleaser, which I know is hard. But, um, you can put me in the big jar. Great, I'll put you in the big jar. You're in the big jar. You guys, I am not going to be able to bring this with me to San Diego. So I'll have to have like an envelope or something. I just realized that like I'm not gonna be able to pack that in my bag because um oh yeah I'm only gone for like five days this time. It's next month that I'm gone for a whole bunch of times. All right, so winner winner chicken dinner is Chi Chi. Girl, you are getting this beautiful planner and I'm gonna write you a message. All right, guys. I love you so much. Know your non-negotiables. Go after your dreams. And for goodness' sakes, if you have that tug in your heart, if you have that thing that you know you were created to be or do or have or whatever it is, follow that. Make it a non-negotiable. To go after that and adjust accordingly. Adjust accordingly. I love you guys so much. I will see you tomorrow. And like I said, I might be watching a football game. Go Patriots! Whoop whoop! So I might be watching a football game tomorrow, so I might have to like hop outside and just like go crazy on the deck or whatever. But I will definitely see you guys tomorrow. I love you so much. Thank you so much for. Spending your most valuable thing today, which is your time. Thank you so, so much. I appreciate you guys more than you know, like honestly more than you know. I love you so much. I'm gonna put the rest of you in the big jar, which if you do not know, at the end of this series I will be going live every day from— I'm sorry, I'll be going live every day at 4:00 p.m. Pacific and Excluding the 19th through the 23rd. Actually, I land at 2:27, so I will be going live on the 23rd at 4. The 20th, the 21st, and the 22nd, I will have to change it a little bit, maybe early in the morning. I'm not sure yet what my schedule is really gonna look like once I'm down in San Diego because I have some like events and some clients I'm meeting with and things like that. So, um, I have VIP days, you guys. This is so crazy. I have VIP days scheduled with my clients, so I'm so excited for that. Um, so I'm not sure what the schedule is going to look like, but I will definitely go live, um, and I will be making a super fun announcement on Monday.
