Val Nichols Coaching" (uploaded February 20, 2019). The excerpt is a motivational solo livestream by Val (Valerie) Nichols speaking to her Facebook/YouTube audience about perseverance, using Gal Gadot's near‑quit before landing Wonder Woman as the central anecdote. She addresses entrepreneurs and online marketers—especially women—encouraging them not to give up, describing her own transition from a successful corporate sales role to full‑time coaching (left corporate in July 2018), and inviting viewers to join her "High Vibe Tribe". The tone is inspirational and promotional, with references to coaching, inner work, dealing with rejection, and building a business and community.

Hey Facebook Live! Hope everyone's having a great day. I'm coming at you live here from Central Oregon where it is beautiful and it is sunny and it's cold, but hey, I'll take the good with the bad. So I really wanted to come on here today and talk to you guys about Wonder Woman. What if Wonder Woman would have given up? I was reading an article earlier about the beautiful, lustrous, multitalented Gal Gadot. And I was shocked to hear that right before she was approached by DC Comics to do the Batman v Superman movie where she first appeared as the Wonder Woman character, that she was hearing a constant— I mean, I know she was on one of the Fast and Furious movies, and I know that she had, you know, little cameos and little supporting actress jobs before this, but she was at the point where she was literally going to give up because she said producer after producer, movie after movie, place after place, she was hearing no. She was hearing no. She was hearing no. She was hearing she wasn't getting the roles that she wanted. She wasn't getting the, the scripts. She wasn't getting the offers that she wanted. And she said she was this close to giving up because she was so sick of hearing the word no. Can you imagine what would have happened if she would have just said, forget it, I'm not going to be an actress. I've heard no more times than I'm— than I know what to do with. Like, if she would have listened to those nos and she would have listened to those naysayers who said she's not going to make it, she's Not pretty enough, she's too pretty, whatever it is, she would have never gotten the break that she got where she is now a multi-millionaire who is starring in her own films. Wonder Woman, can you imagine? I mean, I can't even think of anyone else who would play that role better than Gal Gadot because she is gorgeous, she's fierce, she's on fire, she's passionate. So I want to ask you today, Where in your life and where in your business have you been hearing no? Maybe you're a multi-level marketer who has been cold messaging people and you keep hearing no because that's not the proper way to do it. Maybe you're in the online space and you're doing everything that the gurus are saying where you are engaging, your engagement's high, you're commenting on every single post. Maybe you're spending hours a day on Facebook like I used to when I first started the online space, and you keep hearing no month after month. You're not getting the clients. Maybe you're like Gal Gadot was right before she got the, the spot as Wonder Woman, and maybe you're ready to completely give up. Well, I want to encourage you today, do not give up before the miracle happens. You are on the edge of something so amazing if you just keep the course. We are promised, you know, through scripture, through any ancient text that you believe in, that if you keep the course, the miracle will happen. What we have to do is we have to believe in ourselves so fiercely, and we have to have such a strong why. That even on those days when we want to give up and we're ready to just throw in the towel and go back to the corporate world, or you know completely give up on the the idea of having financial freedom and freedom to live and travel and do whatever we want, which is the great side of the entrepreneurial world, believe me. Then we have to have a why that is so strong. And we have to believe in ourselves so much that we don't allow the nos to drag us down, because they will come. You will experience people who aren't fans of yours. As a matter of fact, I don't know if you knew this, but 10% of people, no matter what, are not going to like you. You're not going to be their cup of tea. They're not going to like how energetic you are. I mean, I've had someone turn around and when I was doing a speaking gig and tell me, you need to calm it down a little bit. And I was like, sorry sir, but I'm okay with who I am. And you know what? I'm passionate about what I do because it lights me up. You will hear no. There will be days that you want to give up. There will be days where you are sick and tired of spending hours on social media trying to market your brand, trying to market your company, trying to getting new business partners, trying to recruit people into your business, whatever it is. You're going to have team members who fail you. You're going to have clients that are upset with your product. You're going to have people who are trolling you or hating you on Facebook or social media. And all of that is okay. All of that is just signs of progress. Don't give up before the miracle happens. Just hang in there one more day. Write one more post. Do one more Facebook Live even when you feel like giving up. There's going to be 10% of people out there who cheer you on, who are so in love with your products and so in love with who you are that they're going to root you on. Even on the days when you don't feel like it. So pay attention to that, those 10%. I think Brené Brown said it best when she said— she did a quote that was, I believe it was Theodore Roosevelt had said that, you know, I'm not interested in hearing about people who aren't in the arena, the people who aren't bold enough to get in the arena. So why are we as online marketers and online entrepreneurs in whatever space you're in, whether you're a businesswoman, you're an entrepreneur, maybe you're chasing after your dreams. Oh, thank you so much for all the likes. Oh, hi Debbie. Hello. Hello. Why are we letting people who are standing on the sidelines, who are too afraid to chase after their own dreams, Why are we letting people who are so stuck in their ways and they're not courageous enough to step out into the space and take the risk that's necessary? Why are we listening to them telling us that we're not doing it right, or that we're silly to go chase our dreams, or that we're silly to leave our corporate jobs? Because believe me, when I finally exited my corporate job back in July of 2018, People did not get it. They did not understand why I would leave a job where I was killing it. I was making the highest commission possible. I was getting these presidential, um, diamond awards every single quarter for top sales. I had, you know, the, the office with leather furniture, with like leather books. I had— it was fancy. I had a fancy title. And, you know, I was making really good money and had insurance and all the benefits. People didn't understand why I would leave such a real thing, such a sure thing, to step out into a space that was unknown. And I will tell you why. Why I did that was because there was a spark in my heart. I started coaching back in 2014, and at that time I went through some things in my life where I felt like a failure. I was in the wrong relationship. I got cheated on. I felt totally and completely just washed up and inauthentic, and I was like, who am I to tell people how to live their life? When I don't even have my life together, right? These are the things that I told myself. These are the lies that I allowed myself to believe in my head. And it took me four years before I allowed myself to even think about going back into coaching full time. Four years, I allowed one event. One short little tiny event to define me, to define who I am, and to hold me back from chasing my dreams. So what I did is I took my dreams as if it was a book, right? I took my dreams as if it was a book and I put it up on the shelf and I allowed it to collect dust for 4 years. And at the same time, that little spark was still in my heart, that little spark was still burning in my soul, and I knew that now was the time. I was being called, my soul desire, my passion was sparking, and it was time to pursue my dreams, and I knew that if I didn't take this chance and step out and do the thing that I was being called to and do the thing that my heart was just crying for me to do, Then I would always be stuck wondering what if. I would go about my day knowing that I knew what my heart's true desire was, because believe me, I did a lot of inner work to get from where I was in 2014 to where I was in 2018 when I finally left the corporate world and did my coaching full-time. I knew that if I didn't step out into that scary unknown world and just find out— see, the desires in my heart were stronger than my fear that what if I fail? What if I fail? Well, as you can see, I'm still doing my coaching full-time. I'm now speaking. I now am opening another business with my husband. We're doing a joint venture. So things are going well. And it's just like Gal Gadot, like I started off this video. If she would have just given up and said, I'm, I'm sick of hearing no, I'm sick of the producers turning me away, I'm sick of all these things. And she was this close to giving up when the DC producer approached her about doing Wonder Woman. Can you imagine? She almost gave up. So if you have a desire in your heart, if you know that there's something inside of you that is craving for more, if you know that there's a tiny little dream in your heart that keeps gnawing at you, if you're craving the financial freedom, And the time freedom and the ability to be able to travel around the world and work from anywhere you want and work with the types of people you want and call in the types of clients you want. Do not ignore that. Don't allow the nos and the upsets and the events in life and the circumstances. You know, I talked about that yesterday. I shared some really deep Stories of my past that I don't usually share. I've never shared, honestly. I shared in my group, the High Vibe Tribe, yesterday with the ladies in there. You know, it doesn't matter circumstances. I didn't come from a rich family who were entrepreneurs, and you know, I didn't have a very loving home. Like we—I mean, my my mom loved me, of course—but there was a lot of confusion. There was a lot of just. Stuff, and I was told I wasn't even going to graduate from high school by my guidance counselor. Like, I told— I was told I was never going to accomplish anything. Well, look at me now. I hate to say that, but you know, I was bored in school. And so what I'm trying to say is don't listen to the nos, even if that no is coming from your head. Instead, make that shift, that 18-inch shift. From your head to your heart, and if you have things that are coming up, maybe you have blocks that are coming up when you think about stepping into your future. Maybe you have real things you need to work through. Then get a coach and work through it. Believe me, that is the only thing that's worked for me. I've tried meditation. I've tried therapy. I tried you know going to hippie communes and sitting in vortexes, and you know I've prayed and I've I've asked God to remove these things, but. What worked for me was getting a coach. If you need that support, get a coach. If you want to talk about it, message me. We'll talk about it. But don't allow your fears to hold you back because there's something inside of you. There's something so real that's inside of you. That is uniquely placed in your heart. There is a calling that only you can fulfill. I'm going to say that again in case someone out there needs to hear it. There is a calling in your life that only you can fulfill, and the work to do is to discover what that is. The work to do is to. Pull that out from your soul and look at it and bring it out into the world because there are people who are waiting for the brilliance and the talent and the beauty that only you can bring to the world. So, I hope this message inspires someone out there. I was intuitively just inspired to come on and talk about this message after I read that article this morning, realizing that even Wonder Woman, Almost gave up on her dreams because she was this close to quitting acting until she got asked to do Wonder Woman. And can you imagine? She's gorgeous. She's beautiful. She's fierce. She's a powerhouse. So how much more should we keep the course? How much more should we believe in ourselves and hang on? And wait for that miracle to happen. I love you guys. Thank you so much for watching this video. If you feel inspired and you think that someone needs to hear this, then please feel free to share it. I love to get my message out and to help other people, and I love to share my passion in the world. So I love you guys. Debbie says, "Thank you, Valerie." Thank you so much, Debbie. I think I saw you shared this, so thank you so much. Thank you. Thank you. I've loved all your your thumbs ups and sounds like you really resonated with this video. So I absolutely love you guys. I hope that you stay the course, and I hope that you do not give up before the miracle happens. If you are a woman who's looking for some inspiration, some support in your tribe, then feel free to request to be in my high vibe tribe. There's some amazing women in there, and we get deep. We get we support each other. We love each other. We lift each other up. So yeah, send a request if you're not in there. Mwah! I love you guys so much, and I'll talk to you soon. Bye! Oops.
