Good morning and Merry Christmas! I'm getting ready for Christmas here with my beautiful tree in the background. I did want to talk to you guys today about the holiday season. Some of you have expressed to me through messages, which I do read, that, you know, the holidays are a little bit of a struggle, and I just want to speak to that today. And hear me, I definitely understand and I can relate with that. I started my personal journey of growth years and years ago, and what I realized when I started to develop and to grow, and as I started to create healthy boundaries in my life, I started to realize that, you know, I no longer fit the role that people wanted me to play, and I really got a lot of pushback. I got a lot of opposition of that, you know, and what I had to do is I realized that Even though I was on a personal journey for growth and I was moving forward, you know, it's it's not so easy to start that journey, and it's not easy to be able to actually take action on it. So what I realized was the people around me were staying in the same place as I developed forward, and you know there wasn't not everyone was happy about it. I noticed a lot of the friendships and the relationships that I thought were genuine and true; they started to. To fade away. And, you know, it was, it was kind of a sad and a lonely time and a lonely space for me. So, you know, the holidays can feel very lonely. You can feel separate or apart of. However, you know, the thing I really want to encourage you with today is hear me with this. It is not your responsibility to stay in the same place you were this time last year. Your responsibility is to yourself. It is to continue to keep on growing even when you know others around you do not agree with that. It is your life, and you know at the end of the day when you lay your head on the pillow, it's it's your own conscious that you you're gonna be facing. It's not the judgment of others. And another thing that I learned through my personal growth journey was. I do not have the power to save everyone, and in that, I cannot lose myself in trying to save others. My responsibility is to me. So hopefully I'm speaking out to someone out there who really needs to hear this, who can relate, that, you know, don't dim your light so that others will be comfortable. Your responsibility is to you, and your responsibilities to yourself. So if you're growing and you're feeling uncomfortable, you are in the perfect place because brothers and sisters, it is uncomfortable. Growth is scary. It's it's really uncomfortable because you're forging into new paths. You know, I've noticed even with habits that I start today, I have it's it's so comfortable just. Have the same reaction or just to keep on walking down the same path or to fall back into those old habits and routines, especially when it comes to other people. You know, I had, I had been assigned specific roles that worked for them. However, those roles were not working for me. And when I started practicing new boundaries and new habits with those people, I got a lot of pushback. So if you're experiencing that, Congratulations, because you are experiencing growth. I know it's uncomfortable, and I know that it's new. Just like any other thing you do in life, it's uncomfortable, it's practice, but it's worth it. So I just want to encourage you today that if things are feeling uncomfortable, if the holidays are hard, you know, message me. I would love to encourage you. I would love to pray with you through this time. comment below so that you can have a whole fellowship of people who can help encourage you as well. And I just want to encourage all of you guys to hang in there. The holidays, after all, are just another day. It's us that puts so much value and so much stress on it. So relax, take it easy, and, you know, just make it about refreshing and renewal because it's the last month of the year. So hey, make it your best.
