Hi, everyone. This video is about opening your eyes to a truly magical spot on planet Earth. I'm here with Michael Bernard Beckwith, a legend in the field of transformation and spirituality. And this magical spot that I visited is the Agape Spiritual center in Los Angeles. And many of you who have never heard of Agape, we want to invite you to learn about it and to come visit it, because I know what much of your values are, since you are part of our mindvalley community. And Agape is one of those places that so resonates with these values of transformation, of human connectedness, of envisioning new models for how we can coexist in the future. And what's special is Agape is celebrating its 30th anniversary this month. So I invited Michael Bernard Beckwith here to tell you about this place because it almost seems unreal until you get there.
He's absolutely right. We've been in existence 30 years now, and we stand as a vibrational living monument of not only diversity, but inclusivity. It's a powerful place of inspiration, a powerful place of love and joy. Agape has served as a powerful spiritual incubator for individuals who have come there, healed their wounds, healed their psyche, discovered their dreams, discovered their visions. And many people have gone on and done powerful, magnificent things in the world. It is a place where every week we gather thousands of people to celebrate the divine that's within all of us. Cross cultures, religions, ethnicities, gender orientations. It's a powerful place of tremendous love, healing, and upliftment. And as has been mentioned, we're in our 30th year. It's time for us to reflect on everything that we've done and also begin to revision everything we're about to do. There's a tremendous amount of emergent energy that's taking over our community now because we know that we're just beginning, that the work we have done over the past 30 years has formed a vibrational platform for us to leap into a greater expression of inspiration. Because the times in which we're living are very interesting times, very volatile times. And Agape serves as a living example of what's possible. When you walk in there, it's like walking into a spiritual United Nations. And we want this community to not only be sustainable, but to be blissfully prosperous, to do the work that we're called to do.
I remember when I walked into Agape, I was mind blown by not just Michael's amazing presence on stage and the lectures, but the music, the dancing, the people there who were from all cultures, all religions, all diversity. It was so, so beautiful to see. And I remember thinking to myself, my God, this is what I've always wanted religion to evolve into. I've never been a big fan of religion. I don't typically believe in religion. I believe in God, but not religion. But Agape is that place that transcends religion. I believe it's the future of spirituality. And that's why we wanted to draw your attention to this place.
We're not bound by religiosity. We're into the deep spiritual. The deep spiritual life that that's encoded within all of us. And for 30 years, those who were disenfranchised or felt cut off by their religion for many reasons, swim up to the shores of Agape and their lives are transformed. And so we're giving you this invitation to know about Agape and to participate in that which is so necessary at this time in human history and beyond.
However, this amazing spot in Los Angeles recently faced a major hiccup and we are asking for your support. Michael.
Absolutely. As of October 1, our rent went up over 25%, which made us have to do a lot of financial maneuvers in the community. So it's serving to us as a wake up call. We're not only going to stabilize around where we are, but we're now visioning to have our own home somewhere else. So your gift is a allowing us to stabilize and begin to build a greater vision.
So what we're asking you of the Mindvalley community is to see if you believe in Agape, if you believe in its mission and values, if you've visited Agape or want to and would like to help support Agape. Here's what you can do next.
So this particular time, we're inviting you to go to agapelive.com a g a p e l I v e.com and we're inviting you to look into your heart and to make a donation of any amount for this powerful spiritual community. We're about not only the continuation of our inclusiveness, being a model for that, but we have powerful youth ministries, Rite of Passages programs. We have powerful programs in which we are working with those who are recently incarcerated and those who are coming out of prison. We have powerful programs that are going into the world to make a mighty difference on this planet at this time in human history, in terms of environmental concerns, in terms of emergencies that are happening on the planet. And we want our community to be more than sustainable. We want our community to be blissfully prosperous. So we're inviting you to give. Now. When you go to agapelive.com there will be a list of premiums that you will receive from us based on the size of your gift. But every amount is valued and appreciated. Agapelive.
