Lee Holden contrasts modern "sick care" with ancient medicine, arguing that ancient approaches prioritized prevention and maintaining vitality. He presents qigong as a holistic practice that integrates mind, body, and emotions to support health and self-healing, and invites viewers to a masterclass to learn activating chi and achieving effortless flow and peak performance.

Make no mistake, our healthcare system is not healthcare, it's sick care. We don't go to the doctor when we're healthy, we go when we're sick. Now this is different than ancient medicine. Now here's how ancient medicine worked. It was prevention. It focused on health. You went to your practitioner, your acupuncturist, your qigong master, while you were healthy. And as soon as you got sick, you stopped paying you. You stop paying when you get sick. Imagine going to your doctor and saying, okay, I'm not going to pay you because I don't feel well. The whole medicine would be reversed and where we focus, energy follows. And we have great technology in our medicine. We do have great emergency medicine and sick care medicine, but we don't have great healthcare. We don't keep people healthy, we don't keep people thriving and full of vitality. And that's what this ancient medicine practice. True healthcare. How do we keep our energy and our health and our vitality up and keep it up so that, as they said in Chinese medicine, don't dig your well when you're dying of thirst, you dig the well first. Because when you're dying of thirst and you're trying to dig the well, that is not a good way to live. It's stressful and too often we feel fragmented. When you have a problem in your body, you go to the doctor. A problem in emotions, you go to the psychologist. A spiritual problem, you go to the rabbi or the priest. We don't connected with qigong practice. Your mind, your emotions and your body all work together to create the totality of you so that each one aspect supports the others. And we feel integrated, we feel whole. It is truly remarkable what this practice can do for our health and our healing.
