This is a transcript excerpt from a Vishen Lakhiani YouTube interview with Anodea Judith about the chakra system as a systematic map for personal growth. The speakers define chakras as energetic organs that perform four functions (receive, assimilate, store, express) and describe two complementary currents: an ascending path to higher consciousness and a descending path that densifies vision into physical manifestation. The chunk also outlines a 35-day chakra healing program that works three days per chakra addressing mind, body, and spirit.

We have a paradigm in which mind is separated from body. We have a paradigm of separation. People are divided within themselves. They are living in their heads. They're trying to have mental concepts to fix that, but the body is ailing. They're going to doctors to fix the body, but they don't look at the.
Spirit and what's going on. I'm Anadea Judith, author of Wheels of Life and a number of best selling books on the chakras. I've been a spiritual teacher and a therapist for over 40 years. And I've traveled the world seeing people and their problems. People get lost in the spiritual smorgasbord. They're dedicated to their growth, but there's so many paths in so many ways and they don't know quite how to put it all together. They don't have a systematic map for their personal growth. And that map is the chakra system. It's been my life's work ever since.
So a chakra is an energy center. It's like an organ in the energetic body. Just like we have a heart, that's an organ in the physical body. We have these organs in the energetic body and they organize energy, they organize the life force through four functions. Through the receiving, we receive love, we receive information. Through the assimilation of that. Can we absorb that, can we store it, can we remember it and can we express it? So we take in, we assimilate, we.
Store and we express.
And each chakra needs to be able to do all four of those functions on each and every level. Most people think of the chakras as this ladder that they climb up to higher consciousness. And that indeed is what it is. That's one of the pathways. But I discovered there is an equally powerful current that comes down through the chakras. It starts in highest consciousness with an idea. And then we visualize that idea. We imagine it, we speak about it, we give it words, we fashion our sound bites and we find the right relationships to bring that vision into being. We empower ourselves to get done what.
We have to do.
We move things into place and the thought planes get denser and denser until in first chakra and they manifest on the physical plane. That's the current of manifestation, the densifying, if you will, of thought step by step in a practical pattern.
That's beautiful. I never thought about it that way.
Seven chakras to me describe the architecture of the soul.
And just like a body worker or.
A yoga teacher might study the physiology, as a psychologist I've studied the soul and I found that it has this architecture that is basically the same for everyone and yet has an individual expression for each person.
This chakra healing Quest is a 35 day journey into the deepest core of yourself. We will work with all seven chakras and we'll spend three days on each chakra with one on the mind and our psyche and how we got programmed by childhood experience experiences. One on the body with yoga and bioenergetic exercises to condition your body and one on spirit. How we can address the larger universal experience and address what's happening in the world. It's a way of connecting heaven and earth, mind and body, spirit and matter back into an indivisible whole. Something that will bring you powerful, dynamic, permanent change.
