Funny, he doesn't look healthy or fit at all. Wow. Hi, my name is Eric. Ed Meads. I'm the creator of WildFit and my publisher Mindvalley reached out to me and said there's been some interesting comments on some of my videos out there and they asked me if I would respond to some of them. So here we go. Why do I see this dude every time I watch a workout video? Okay, the reason you see this dude every time you watch a workout video is that the food industry convinced us all over the last 30 years that we could outrun our bad diets. They convinced us that we could eat calories and just burn them off. And so now there's all these people out there going, I gotta find a workout video. I gotta find a workout video. And what I'm trying to say to you is, yes, that's a great idea if you first handle your nutrition. That's why you keep seeing this dude before your workout video. Alright, our next comment. Very articulate. Here we go. What a scammer. I don't even know what to do with that. But what I do recommend is that if you're really worried about scamming, then make this comment. On every ad you see for sugar based foods, on every ad you see for fast food. That's where the scam is happening. Funny here he doesn't look healthy or fit at all. Am I being fat shamed? This is in quotes. Non diet diet. Read definition of diet. This guy doesn't understand the meaning of the term diet. Everybody has a diet unless they don't eat at all. What they mean is that weight loss diets don't work, especially calorie restriction in the long run. So this is one of these people who really ultimately agrees with what I'm saying. Diet does not mean temporary alteration to your normal life so you can fit into some bikini for the summer. It means lifestyle. And what we need to do at this point is change our lifestyle, not go on diets. Our next comment says so much, blah, blah, stop eating fasting and loads of cardio. Don't be lazy. It's called discipline. People trying to find the easy way for everything. You know, I think this guy should create his own health program. Doesn't it sound compelling? Stop eating, fasting and loads of cardio. Like here's the funny part is first of all, it's wrong. Secondly, it's dangerous. Fasting is a good idea from time to time and cardio can be really helpful. But what we really got to do is make sure that we've got really proper nutrition and then holistic exercise. Is this guy some kind of vegan veggie whatnot? I think he's sneaking around the issue, trying to hide his hidden vee agenda to keep Westerners enslaved to malnutrition. Wow. Wow. The only way somebody could ever assume that I was part of some kind of vegan agenda is for them to know nothing about me. So I. I'm going to suggest watch the whole video before you comment. The sad side of the Internet, we have such incompetent people spreading pseudo scientific stupidity. Way back at the beginning of the pandemic, I was one of the people that saw it coming a little early, and I created a video called you'd Last Line of Defense that something like a million plus people saw around the world. And in that video, I put forward some pseudoscientific theory that maybe, maybe obesity, diabetes, and generally our relationship with food might have something to do with your body's ability to defend you against COVID 19. Turns out I was completely wrong. Wait. Turns out that the science is absolutely clear that obesity, diabetes, hypertension, autoimmune disease, and generally our relationship with food means everything in the fight to Covid. Every now and again, I get comments like the ones we went through today. And I just want you to know this, those people are also asking questions. And so I like to try to respond, usually with a bit of a sense of humor if I can. But what we've really done, which is super exciting for you, is we've collected the questions that we receive from people and we answer them. And one of the ways we do that is through really cool masterclasses where we give a huge amount of content and information about nutrition and food psychology. And so if these questions have been interesting to you, or if you have questions of your own, please, please come and check out our masterclass. I think you'll be surprised. It's incredible what we don't know about food. It's incredible what we do know that we probably shouldn't. And I want to show you that it is absolutely, completely possible to live a really powerful, energetic, healthy life. And I want to show you how. Join the masterclass and let's find it.
