In this talk, Vishen Lakhiani describes how, as a founder, he was overwhelmed by endless strategy work, writing, meetings, and emails, which left him unable to lead his business. He experimented with AI and built five specialized AI agents: a Writer that critiques and improves his copy, a Chief‑of‑Staff that trims his calendar, a Content Producer that multiplies a single idea into multiple formats, an AI Thinking Partner that challenges his decisions against a 10‑year vision, and a Numbers Analyst that flags performance gaps. These agents handle most of his day‑to‑day tasks, freeing him to focus on vision, creativity, health, and meaningful moments. He frames the real promise of AI as reclaiming time rather than just speed, and invites viewers to learn how to build similar agents at the Mindvalley AI Summit 2026.

For a long time, I ran my company the way most founders do, which basically means doing everything. Strategy in the morning, writing in the afternoon, meetings all day, late-night emails that never seem to end. More decisions, more emails, more meetings, until one day you realize something. You're not leading the business anymore. You're drowning in it. That's when AI changed everything for me. So I decided to experiment. I asked myself a strange question. What if I could create 5 different AI agents that take over most of my job. First, there's the writer brain. He's dramatic. He's cool. Every time I write something, he appears and says, this opening felt emotionally flat. Let's fix that. Slightly annoying, but the content, so much better. Then there's my chief of staff. This one is ruthless. He reviews my calendar every morning and quietly deletes half my meetings. Apparently, most meetings are optional. Then there's the content producer. You give him one idea, and certainly there are 8 posts, 3 videos, and a newsletter before I even finish a thought. Now, my AI thinking partner. He sits in a corner asking inconvenient questions and mildly judging me to make sure that everything I do sits with my 10-year vision. Helpful, occasionally uncomfortable. And finally, we have numbers dude. He has zero emotional intelligence. He just looks at data and points out where we're underperforming, which to be fair is kind of useful. Now, these 5 AI agents help me run my business while I on the things that actually matter. The vision, the creativity, the big decisions, my health, the small moments that actually make my life meaningful. Because the real promise of AI isn't that it helps you work faster, is that it gives you your time back. If you're curious how to build AI agents like this to automate your business and eliminate work, work that you no longer love, that's exactly what I'll be teaching at AI Summit 2026. I hope to see you there.
