Many times I've had to reinvent my life. So when you are starting all over, you need to plan your first step. If it doesn't work out, you plan another step. And you just keep on planning until you can build up your work and your social life. Because otherwise, if you just sit and feel sorry for yourself, you'll get nowhere. I moved to nine cities and three countries. Each move is traumatic and anyone who's even moved to the suburb next door knows how hard it is to move. When I got divorced, I moved, started all over and had to start my practice. I had to send out letters to doctors. Fortunately, in South Africa, they immediately sent patients to me and then started modeling right away because I had a portfolio. And then when I moved to Toronto, I sent out a hundred letters to the doctors. I didn't get any response. So it's a long process. If you think you had a hard time, it is hard to reinvent yourself and you have to persist and do it because that's what you can do.
