đź”´ LIVE: Become a Mindvalley Certified 10x fitness coach | Live free webinar

This is a recorded live masterclass (Dec 12, 2022) led by Vishen Lakhiani with Bianca, Ajit Navalkar and Lorenzo Delano introducing Mindvalley’s 10x strength-and-longevity protocol and the Mindvalley Certified 10x Coach program. Vishen shares his personal transformation (22% → ~15% body fat then to 13% at ~46 years old), his Glycan Age test (biological age ~20), and a 12-minute high-intensity weekly workout routine he uses. Lorenzo explains 10x as a minimal‑effective‑dose, longevity-focused strength protocol (six exercises, once-weekly circuit to failure) derived and refined from research (e.g., Body by Science, McMaster) and Mindvalley R&D (4 years; multiple pilot sites). Ajit describes the certification: a ~16-week online coach training (16 weeks / 3 hrs/week; ~48 total training hours) teaching coaching skills, diagnostics, 10x mastery, business modules and live practice; cohort logistics, pricing and enrollment are presented.

Tug, because we're going to be on a journey together today just to do a little fun and easy warm up. Please let me know in the chat where you're connecting from and which part of the world you're in and also how excited you are about the session that we're having today. I want to see the chat. Firing it up.
Hi, everyone.
Nice to see you all here. Bianca, just confirming you can hear me.
Okay.
Yes, the sound is good. And we can also see you. We have people all over the world.
Where are you from? Where are you right now be?
I'm in Romania right now.
Awesome, guys.
It's nice to see.
It's nice to see all of you. I'm in snowy, cold, frigid Estonia, where we're literally having a blizzard outside today. So I stepped outside for a meeting with. With one of my team members and it was nuts. So I've been. I've been locked in. I see some people here from Morocco, India, Chile, all Nigeria, all beautiful, wonderful, warm countries. And I'm so jealous of you guys right now. Goa, Brazil. Stop it. Stop it. This is painful. Okay, so, B. Shall we get started?
Yes, definitely.
Okay, so, guys, I'm going to introduce our speakers today, which is Ajit and Lorenzo. And I want to introduce them by sharing my story of how these. These men transform my life. Okay, so firstly. Hi, Toma. I saw you just popped up. Thank you. Could you turn off your video, please? Thanks. Okay, so we're going to talk about the transformation that I ended up going through in the last. In the last couple of years, starting in 2015. When I started Mindvalley, I was a meditation guy. I was known for teaching meditation. I was teaching small meditation classes around the world. And when mindvalley started, we were really about the mind. We were about the spirit. We neglected the body. And one day at the age of 40, I basically woke up and realized that I was in horrible shape. I had a dad bod, 22% body fat, and I just had a body where I didn't feel comfortable taking my shirt off at a beach. But at the same time, I had certain issues cropping up that I had accepted as the inevitable acts of aging, and I just accepted them rather than sought to reverse them. So one issue was this. Every day at 5pm, I would lose so much energy that I needed to eat a Mars bar to get my energy up. In short, I was addicted to sugar. I was working out at the gym, but I wasn't putting on muscles because although I'd been working out at the gym for 10 years, I didn't know the right protocols. I didn't understand the science of actually honing your body. So the first thing I did was I started working in my nutrition. And I want to show you what happened. So this is my transformation. It was March 2016. I started working with Wild Fitness. And, Bianca, could you just turn off the camera, please? J.D. turn off your camera. Okay. So I started working with Wildfit, and you can see how rapidly my body changed. So. So what I'm sharing over here are actual footage of my body, and I'll give you data. I went from chubby dad board to lean between March and June. Now, if you do the math, that's three months. March, April, May. And by June, I had a completely different body. What you're seeing over here is a transformation from 22% body fat to 15% body fat. And then following that, I was skinny, but I was. I was happy. I was skinny, but I realized that while I was skinny, I wanted a body I could be proud of. And what you're seeing is what happened then. And this is when Lorenzo Delano stepped into my life. I've been working out for 20 years. I had a gym membership. I was spending two hours in the gym. And what happened between June 2016 and March 2018 is that I actually was spending less time in the gym. But there was an immediate transformation in the body. Now, this transformation continued until, by October 2019, my body looked like that. Now, what also was really interesting about this is that this picture was taken the day I turned in the manuscript for my new book, the Buddha and the Badass. It was supposedly a very stressful period of my life because I was the CEO of mindvalley. I was also writing a book that went on to become number one in the Wall Street Journal. Yet I was in peak physical shape. And this is what I'm proud of, because I had learned to, in the midst of chaos and stress and all the other countless things I had to do, still preserve health, vitality, and longevity. This is what you're going to learn here today. So let's continue. Okay. With the process. What was going on over here is that this man was training me and Lorenzo was. Was this really weird anomaly. Firstly, I want to show you how he speaks and how he trains, because he's a. He's a character. It's really interesting. Check this out.
Damage. We're actually tearing them apart. Quickly.
Look at my muscle.
Right?
So as you.
As you're actually lowering the weight, the muscle Lengthens, and that lengthening is actually.
Tearing the muscle apart.
And that's where most of the trauma.
Okay, so he's super passionate. Lorenzo, you see, is a scientist of transformation. He is perhaps the best, one of the best people in the world in overall human transformation. Lorenzo was working at Mindvalley in our laboratory, where we put together different courses and we designed curriculums. Now, he's a genius who dropped out of School at 13, and he went on to become the architect of Mindvalley's human transformation model. So when we produce our highest quality programs with living legends, Ben Greenfield, Ken Wilber, Steven Kotler, the legendary Neil Donald Walsh, it is Lorenzo who is working behind the scenes with the author, putting these programs together. He's a transformation nerd. But unlike most nerds, this guy is ripped. He had like this incredible body that would make him a male cover model. And one day in the office, this was after I'd gotten really skinny after doing Wildfit. I asked Lorenzo, dude, how do you, how are you so ripped you must spend hours in the gym? And he goes, actually, vision, I only spent half an hour. And I said, what do you mean half an hour? And he explained to me the science of minimum effective dose workouts. This is what he proceeded to teach me, how given his brain for transformation, he was able to to pinpoint the exact minimal workout needed to stimulate muscle growth. When I learned this, like, my life changed. So firstly, the first picture I sent you is from October 2019, before the pandemic. This is a picture of me two days ago. So I've gotten, you can see, I, I've actually increase my body. Now these pictures can be misleading. So let's look at body fat percentage because I've been using the same scale before. 10x before my health transformation, I was at 22%. The picture on the left is about 14. Today I'm at 13. I'm about to be 47 years old. I'm in my peak physical shape while running a company that's at a unicorn level. That means a billion dollar valuation company. Right? This is what we want to teach you. Now I see there's one commenter here, Nandis, going, fake picture. Well, screw you, Nandis. I don't fake shit. This is actually me and I've given you the exact, the exact data here. What you're seeing is 13% body fat. And what I do in the gym, I basically go to the gym once a week on average because I travel a lot. When I'm here in Estonia, I go to the Gym twice a week. But I want you to guess how much time my gym workout takes. Type it out. So when we go to the gym, you know, I'm not counting the time in the changing room. I'm talking about the time I emerge out of the changing room, I sit on the bench, I work out, and then I'm done. And I walk back to the changing room to put on my clothes and leave. So no one has guessed right. It is 12 minutes. The day I took this picture. I worked out for 11 minutes and 45 seconds, and I broke my gym record. 12 minutes, six exercises. 12 minutes. But. But these exercises are super, super, super intense. Somebody asks doing what you're going to learn? It turns out that most of the time people spend in the gym is wasted time. But there's a science called minimum effective dose exercise. It started emerging in July 2013 when the new York Times did an expose on a minimum effective dose. And what they said is that science is showing that sometimes four minutes of the right exercise, example Tabata, can create the same results as 45 minutes of aerobics. This is what we started specializing in. So here what you're seeing is Lorenzo training me in the gym. Now, I remember, look at my arms. They are comments about me on YouTube from four years ago where people are making fun of me saying, you've got skinny arms. But you can see my arms have transformed in these 12 minutes roughly. And I go to the gym. I go to the gym maybe about one and a half times a week.
Squeeze, hold.
Okay, now the number on the right is another. Is another thing you're going to notice that you learn from Lorenzo. Okay? And that number on the right is your power, your power to weight score. So it's basically the total amount of weights that you lift divided by the number of seconds you lift the weight. So I'm doing 11 seconds. 40. 11 minutes, 45 seconds divided by your total weight. And 8.5 is considered excellent for a man who's pushing 50. Most people who start will be at between 2 to 5. Okay, so you're going to learn about all of this science. It's very, very, very precise. And one more thing I want to show you is as you transform your body with 10x, it also has a, a bearing on your internal health. This is my test from Glycan Age. They test inflammation markers to show you your biological age. I am 46. I'm going to turn 47 in one month from now. So in January. When I did this test in September, I was 46, as you can see. But you can see my biological age is 20. Now, I'm not sharing this to impress upon you guys. I'm sharing this because I wanted to show you my transformation so you know that no matter what your age, no matter where you're starting from, this is possible for you, too. Now let's talk about women. Remember the woman who introduced me, Bianca. This is Bianca's transformation on 10x. And Bianca today, she's incredibly proud of her body. Now, the funny thing about Bianca is before Bianca started 10x, she was the World Karate Champion. The World Karate champion. And look at the impact 10x had on her body. You can see it is transformative. But. But Bianca went further. She trained to be a 10x coach, and this is what she was able to do because she learned how to be a 10x coach. Not only could she transform her body, but she could transform the body of clients around the world. Now, in my case, I'm also trained in it, and what I get great pleasure on is working with my children. So when you become a 10x certified coach, the beauty is that as you go through this transformation, in three months, you transform your body, but you. You can now learn these methodologies and bring it to the people you love. In my case, this is me training my daughter yesterday. It's hurting, but every little bit you do extra now you're getting. You're going to get more gains. Okay, Remember, chase the pain as Lorenzo says. You got it?
Yeah.
You're doing good. One more, one more. Eve, you can do. So here I'm using the exact methodologies I learned from Lorenzo. You did it. You did. To train my kids. Lying to you. You can do one more.
You can do one more.
Come on, one more.
Yes.
Can you do one more? Okay, now you're breaking form. Okay, but that's good. You did really well. So there's actually a lot there that's going on, but I learned this from Lorenzo. Now, one of the things that's happening is that my kids total workout time is 12 minutes. 12 minutes every two weeks. And my children, they just got their grades. Both of them are top students in their class.
They.
The teachers also said they were the kindest students in their class. But one of the interesting things is usually kids who are the top kids are not also the best athletes. My kids are the best athletes. My son is 15. He's absolutely ripped. My daughter can outrun boys her age because 12 minutes every two weeks, I take them to the 10x protocol, and they absolutely love it. Because they can see how their bodies are, are changing. My son, for example, can do 10 pull ups and he's aiming to be able to do 15, which is a marker of being super fit. But it's that precise. And when you do this, you teach the kids respect for their body. So my kids, they, you know, we went to see the new Wakanda Forever movie in the cinema and my kids, I offered them chocolate, I offered them like, like a bag of chips. They're like, nah, we don't need it. They just don't have those cravings. They still eat ice cream sometimes, but they don't crave it. They don't crave sugar because they have learned to really respect their bodies. The same thing also, of course, happens to adults. Now the final video I want to show you is my father. My father is 70 years old and in January when he turned 70, this was maybe about three years ago, a Dr. Gavin, five years to live. Because his health was in such bad shape, I introduced him to Lorenzo and Lorenzo trained him. And in one month, my dad increased his strength by a dramatic amount, over 70%. Watch this 2 minute video to get an understanding how. And keep in mind, this is a man who is today 73 years old. Hey everyone, this is Vishen. I am here with my dad. Dad, how old are you right now? Six?
72.
You're gonna be 72. I'm gonna be 73 in January. You're gonna be 73 in January. Okay. And how old were you when you started 10x three years ago. Three years. It was 2018, so that would be, well, two years ago. So you would have been 71. Yes. You were about to turn 71. You were, you were 70 going on to your 71st birthday when you started 10x. So the reason I share this with you is because you can see my, my dad, who's very dear to me and what happened when he went on 10x? I want to play a video for you, for all of you who might be thinking that you are too old for strength training. So we have this belief that aging is a natural part of life and that our bodies naturally deteriorate with aging. And this is somewhat true if you do not do the right exercise after the age of 30, basically through a concept called sarcopenia, you're losing 1% of your muscle mass every year. But you can Prevent this. And 10x is one of the best ways to do this. Watch what happened to my father after we put him on 10x. And this was a one month transformation. What you're about to see is my dad. He is 70 years old. In this video he was about to hit his 71st birthday and you're about to see him increase his leg strength by 75%. He went from being able to leg press 80kg to 140kg in four weeks flat. In that four weeks all my dad was doing was 10x. Check out this video.
Let's do it.
So this was the one of the proudest days of my father's life because he went from 80kg to 140kg in the leg press machine after four weeks of training. And in those four weeks he was in the gym only about. He was training for about one hour a week in the gym. Time on bench.
You can 2 reps, 2 RM on 140 kgs. Come back down and relax. Relax. One more, one more and 3 reps on 140. How's that Vishal?
Amazing.
How's that?
What was his previous, his previous weight?
80.
80? Yeah. So from 80 kilograms to 100, 150 kilograms in four weeks.
140. 140.
80 to 140 in four weeks.
80 to 140 in four weeks.
Amazing. So that video you saw was me and Lorenzo, the co founder of 10X and that was at the end of four weeks my dad was, was asked to do one leg press to see what was his one rep max. He did three. Three. So really proud of you. That three at 142 kilograms. How did that feel? Very good. And I know it had a. This showed you just how much you can do, right? How much you can really train your body and transform your body with the right techniques. I'm still doing it and it's helped me in my lower back pain. That's great. And I'm very pleased with it. That's great. So I wanted to share this video as an inspiration for all of you. I'm going to be 45 in a week or two, so I'm in my mid-40s and I want to have a healthier body at 50 than I did at 21. And this is no longer fantasy, this is now science. This is why I was so excited about funding the research for 10x. 4 years of research and development, deploying it on people I love like my dad and now in the mindvalley community. So join me in this master class if you want to learn more, if you want to go through this. You will learn. You will. Actually we're actually going to show you the leg press regimen that we trained my dad. The entire thing is in this masterclass and we've adapted it now so you don't need a leg press machine. You can do it from home. For those of you who don't have a gym, I'll see you in the masterclass. Okay, so this video was a promotion for Masterclass. It's about two years old, but the main thing is I wanted to show you the impact it had on my dad. So now let me introduce Lorenzo. Lorenzo is the creator of 10x. 10x is the protocol that we use and if you decide to become a Mindvalley certified fitness coach, it's. It is the 10x protocol plus other mindvalley protocols that you gain knowledge about as you go through the 16 week program to get certified. You also go through a massive physiological transformation of your own and that's what makes this so effective. This is why I believe this is perhaps the most powerful fitness certification out there. By the end of 16 weeks, you know significantly more than your gym instructor. I love my gym instructor. He's a, he's a friend. We go out for drinks, surprisingly, with my gym instructor. But you know, he did, he did a one month training to get certified and was very basic stuff and he's captivated by 10x. 10x is a lot longer, a lot more in depth, a lot more scientific. But you learn how to get the best results in the shortest amount of time. So some of you who are wondering where the research comes from, please check out. You can check out the book Body by Science by Doug McGuff, MD. Someone asked, I don't believe this. Where's the research? Body by Science by Doug by Doug McGuff, MD the research comes from a different number of different universities, primarily McMaster University in Canada. What we did is we took a lot of the data from there. Lorenzo got in calls with Doug McGuff and we also worked with other experts, other studies. We put everything together at the Mindvalley research labs. Remember, Mindvalley employs some 400 people. We're constantly doing research and we built the methodology with exact precision. We tested it for four years on 100 people. The experiments were in Barcelona, in Pula, Croatia, and in Tallinn, Estonia, and in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, before we deployed it to the world. So there's a lot of research, a lot of study that goes into this to develop a protocol to create precision stimulus on your body to give you the body of your dreams in as little time possible. Because time is the most valuable currency right now. So, Lorenzo, welcome.
Eveshin thanks guys. It's so amazing to be here. Well, the first thing I wanted to say was just, you know, when you go, when you go through such a transformation, it really is the foundation to, you know, seeing the possibilities in your own life and so many different other, you know, areas of your life. But so as Vishen mentioned, you know, one of the, you know, I basically do two things. I'm mostly a researcher and I spend a lot of time thinking about the science or the applied science of transformation. Not just the body, but also the mind. The body is just such a foundational, you know, aspect that we have to, you know, always take care of. That is also the foundation for, you know, the transformation of the mind. And then the other area is actually the applied of the, the applied part of the applied science is actually looking at how we actually take these methodologies and protocols, apply them so that we can induce a very specific type of transformation, whether that is the body or the mind. Now many of you are asking, or some of you may not be familiar with what we call 10X. 10X is just a longevity based strength and muscle building protocol. And we basically designed it in a way that will allow people firstly, you know, take away most of the complexities that people are presented by when it comes to strength training or resistance exercise by really simplifying it to the most foundational movements, but then also trying to understand the quality of muscular contraction so that we can do the least amount of work to get the most results possible. So as Vishen mentioned, I highly recommend you read the book Body by Science. But what we've done at mindvalley is actually we've improved even on the original protocol itself. 10x is basically four years of engineering the shortest possible strength and muscle building protocol that will give you not better results. It will give you similar results to most strength training protocols, of course, because there is a rate limiting step to how much muscle mass you can synthesize in a certain given period of time. But you can do it in about 10% of the time. You see, on average a person will go to the gym and especially if they just get the run of the mill strength training program, on average they'll spend about 180 minutes per week doing strength training. This means, you know, you go to the gym once per week focusing on maybe upper body and then you do your legs and altogether you'll basically spend about 180 minutes in the gym on an average strength training protocol. Those protocols are great and they're fine, they work just as well. But Most people are very intimidated by, you know, let's say barbell based protocols or protocols where you have to go to the gym three days a week, spending one hour each week. And I was just as skeptical as most people, you know, are when they hear about this for the first time. It said, how is it possible that you can really, you can gain the same levels of strength and muscle mass in a very short period of time. And when we say short period of time, we're talking about 10% of the time, so 30 minutes instead of 180 minutes, you know, so but if you really think about it, if you think, if you look at how much time people spend in the gym, what they actually do, you know, training in the average strength training or hypertrophy or bodybuilding program. So on average they spending about 10 to 15 minutes of time under attention. In other words, you go to the gym, you watch someone exercise you, and you know, if you had a stopwatch, you basically just click start and you know, when they start lifting the weight, you stop the stopwatch and you do that for the entire workout over an hour. And you see that the amount of time that people actually spend under tension is about 10 to 15 minutes. So we thought, what if there was a way that you can get 10 to 15 minutes of time under tension? The same, you know, amount of work that people would do in an hour, but do it in a very short period of time. And that's what body by science explored. And lo and behold, if you know what you're doing and if your quality of the work that you do is very high, you can get the same results. And when I say results, let's be very, very specific. On average, the a person who does strength training can expect to, especially if you're a beginner, can expect to improve your strength by 30 to 50% depending on your level, right? 30 to 50% of your strength. And when I say strength, it could be lower body strength, upper body strength, whatever you want to test. But roughly 30 to 50% of improvements in your strength after about a single month of exercise is usually what you see a beginner can gain. Also, we don't see a lot of muscle mass gain within the first four weeks. Rather takes about eight weeks for us to start seeing changes in a person's structural components, that is the actual muscle mass. If, and the way that we can test that is, well, you can actually do circumference measurements of their bicep or their thigh. You could, for example, do a DEXA scan to look at the amount of muscle mass that they have. And these are all ways to know just how much muscle mass a person has increased. So again, on average, over a three month period, we can see about two to three kilos of muscle mass that a person can gain within that period of time. Now, any kind of strength training protocol, whether you're doing CrossFit or any kind of barbell training, like five by five or you're doing starting strength, those are great protocols. But the thing is, the reason 10x is so attractive to people is because, number one, it's very simple. It's six exercises that you basically do to failure in a circuit like fashion, meaning you move from one exercise to the next in a very short period of time. And you do that once per week and making sure the quality of work is extremely high, that's going to allow you to basically get the same results. Now, the reason we call it 10x is because if you actually look at it minute by minute, you know, people who do this kind of protocol, minute by minute, it's about six times more effective. Again, if we compare the average program, 180 minutes in the gym. If you do 10x, you're at most spending 30 minutes in the gym per week, which is about, you know, it's only six times more time that you're spending on an average program. What's cool with 10x though? But for every minute that you compare, you actually see it's six times more effective. And for some, 10x more effective. That's why we call it 10x. In other words, you basically get the same results in 15 of the time. But who cares? Like, why is this even so important? And why is this a longevity based protocol? Is this a protocol that we want to produce bodybuilders? No. Is this a protocol that we designed to make you the strongest person on the planet? Absolutely not. What we wanted to do is bring to the general population a exercise protocol that is simple to do, that they can do for the rest of their life, but is a very, very effective and of course, very efficient. Again, only 50 minutes per workout. And so that's how we basically, that's the amount of time that we spend thinking about how to actually optimize this. The biggest challenge that people also have with strength training is just confusion. People don't know really where to start. People don't know if they should do machines, if they're doing the right bodyweight exercises. And barbell training requires, you know, a bit of training before you can get real benefit of getting really strong. Using the barbell. Barbell is a great, you know, great piece of equipment, but it does require some training and also requires some guidance to do it effectively and safely. And the average person firstly, is intimidated by going to the gym firstly. And secondly, even if they do go to the gym, people just don't know what to do. But imagine you could just do six simple exercises and get the same results by getting on a machine, doing a low body exercise for one minute, go to a back exercises for one minute, do a chest exercise for one minute. If you know how to execute it properly, that is basically all you would need to get those results. Again, the reason this is so important is because on average we see people lose between 0.5 and 1% of their muscle mass per decade. It's not necessarily that you just lose muscle mass, you know, gradually. It is more as a result of as we get older and we lose some muscle mass due to what we call a catabolic crisis or event. You know, when a person in their 30s or 40s, when they get hospitalized for whatever reason, you know, bed rest is basically the biggest contributor to a, to a dramatic loss in muscle mass. Up to 5 kg in a person who's bed rest for 2 days can lose about 5 kg of muscle mass. And that's okay. You know, we, we go through these kinds of events. But the problem is when people come out of the hospitals or they are pre rehabilitated from an injury, people don't actually gain that muscle mass back. Now imagine that happens over, you know, once every decade. We start that people start to lose a significant amount of muscle as they age, whether just progressively or as a result of these catabolic crisis events. Again, why is it so important? Well, as we lose muscle mass, with that we lose function, we lose our functional ability. Muscle mass, as most people call it these days, the organ of longevity. Really is that because muscle mass is basically what powers our movement, it's the foundation of our functional fitness. Muscle mass is also what contributes to our overall, you know, body shape. So unlike any other fitness outcome, if you were to only do one type of exercise, whether you know, if it's strength training or aerobic training, flexibility training, if you only had very little time to exercise, or you don't like exercising, strength training would be the number one thing that you do and for many, many different reasons. But unlike improvements in flexibility, or let's say cardiovascular exercise, improvements in muscle mass is independently associated with improving all aspects of a person's lifespan and longevity. Namely, first and foremost, it's it's independently associated with a person's functional ability. So when you're stronger as a foundation of your functional ability, it allows you to do better at everything else. Secondly, it's our muscle mass that basically gives our body its shape. And also so if we want to look our best, it's not, we can't do that with dieting alone. We can't just lose body fat, excess body weight. We do need to actually shape our muscles if you want to look our best. And again, that's going to be done through strength training. But also strength. Muscle mass acts as a reserve for glycogen disposal. So the way that we actually, the way that you have a reserve against excess calories or excess, you know, sugar is by having big muscles, your ability to dispose of glucose. In fact, type 2 diabetes is a carbohydrate intolerant disease. It's a disease in which you cannot tolerate a normal dose of carbohydrates, so to speak. And so more muscles allow you to regulate your blood sugar levels as well. So the reasons why muscle mass should be at the center of our focus, especially if we're someone who doesn't exercise a lot, or someone who needs to, or someone who doesn't enjoy exercise, it really has to be the central focus. We should think of strength training the way, the same way we look at our dental health, you know, whether we like brushing our teeth or not, everyone does it because, because they know it's good for them. Strength training should be treated the same simply because it allows us to maintain obviously muscle function. Because who care about, who cares about muscle mass? Yes, it makes you look good, but really what we're after here is muscle quality. It's the, actually it's the amount of force that you can produce with the muscle that you have that's more important than just muscle mass. In fact, there was a study done in 2018 by Lee and colleagues who basically demonstrated that if you were to compare people with a certain level of muscle mass versus people with a certain level of strength and they compared it to certain all cause mortality markers, what that study showed is that it's more important to focus on function than it is on muscle mass. Because people were 100, 153% increased risk of all cause mortality if they had low muscle function but normal levels of muscle mass. Likewise, people who had low levels of muscle mass but let's say adequate levels of muscle function, they were only at a 26% increase risk of all cause mortality. So again, that basically shows you that muscle function is far more important than just muscle strength. Now, for some of you, if you've heard of 10x, 10x really is the methodology that we have created to help people who don't like exercise or people who don't want to spend many hours in the gym get the same results as a traditional strength training protocol would give you. But who cares about that? Because at the end of the day, when people restore their muscle function, the most beautiful thing happens. And, and that is that people start to fall in love with movement again. The whole point of this is movement. It's not about 10x. It's not about, you know, you know, this program versus that program. It really is about getting people to fall in love with being more active again in the way that allows them to be functional in the way that we're intended to be. So the first thing that I want to point out to everyone here is that if you had very little time exercising, it would be, you know, selecting some form of strength training. Now most people then say, okay, but if I'm going to do strength training, where do I start? The best place to start is something that is simple. And that's kind of what, that's what 10x is. It's something that's simple, it's something that you can do, and it allows you get very similar results. The second thing then is to obviously think about how you want to integrate that with, you know, the current activities that you're already doing, because that's going to allow you to do it in a sustainable way. And the third thing is, you know, people need to think about if they are carrying excess body weight. The only way that the only long term method we have for protecting ourselves from continuing to gain weight again after we've lost it is through physical activity. Just increasing our physical activity from 1.3 to 1.9. Most people don't know this, but we actually evolved to have an activity level of 1.9. Again, if those numbers don't mean anything to you, just know the average person has an activity level today of 1.3 or 1.4. This means they may walk a little bit today and exercise once or twice per week, but it's not a lot. We really are built, you know, the average Homo sapien. If you look at anthropological data specifically on the Hadza tribes, we still see, you know, that they have an average activity level of, you know, 1.9. That's really, really high. This is the equivalent of someone exercising seven times a day and walking, you know, 10,000 steps a day. It's a lot of activity, but that's normal for them. For us that seems like, you know, you must be an athlete to be that active. And the problem really is not that we are inactive. The problem really is that we have lost so much muscle function that we've lost the desire to want to move more. So let me repeat that because this is the biggest thing to take away. As we age, we lose muscle. As we lose muscle, we lose muscle function. As we lose function, we start to. Our desire to want to do things declines. Why? Because as we do things, they feel difficult. And when we, when we do things that feel difficult, we tend to avoid them. And that's the worst thing you can do when you're in pain or when you avoid movement because you don't feel good doing it. That's the worst thing you can do is then to avoid doing any, to, to do any activity altogether. And it becomes a vicious cycle of doing less and less and less. And this is also the one of the reasons that if people go on diets, they lose the weight. The reason they regain it back is because the only way to actually keep weight off long term is actually going to be through physical activity. Doesn't matter what you do. But then if physical activity may also not be enough because we know a lot of people could be quite active, but they also lose muscle mass because they might only be doing running, they may only being, you know, moderately active. And so that's not enough. We still need to basically place a high demand on our muscle mass such that we signal to the body to hold on to the type 2 muscle fibers that make up our big strong muscular fibers so that we can basically maintain that strength. Many people also don't know this, but the number one cause of death for people over the age of 65 in the United States is accidental falls. People actually falling to their deaths as a result of, of sarcopenia which is having a, you know, the age related loss of muscle mass. We call this the silent diseases because we don't know that this is happening to us. The number one thing that happens to us is we lose muscle, but we also tend to lose bone and we blood pressure again goes up, blood sugar levels go up and also body fat levels go up. All everything goes and seems to go in the wrong direction as we age. And the only way, only protection we have against that is by actually creating a new relationship with calories as well as physical activity. But not, not energy in, not calories in calories out, not not in a way where we're playing an accounting game, but rather how do we ship and how do we build a life? How do we build a life in which makes it easy for us to consume the things that we love, but not in excess, but also have physical activity as a way to protect us from loss of muscle, loss of bone, and obviously weight regain as we get older. So, yeah, the number one message here for people is that if you're not doing strength training because you either don't like exercise in general, you know, the most important thing is just to start, start doing something. If you really like exercise, maybe you're a runner and you do kind of aerobic exercise or yoga and you're not doing strength training. I will tell you that strength training is just as important because you're not getting enough of a stimulus to actually, you know, signal to the body to hold on to those muscle fibers. In fact, if you actually look at endurance runners and endurance athletes, if you look at the upper body compared to their lower body, because the upper body is not as involved with running, let's say, as would be with rowing, you actually see how emaciated the upper bodies look compared to their lower bodies because it's not as active. So, yeah, that's going to be the number one message that we are here to really share with everyone, is to kind of bring people's attention towards these diseases that are silent and that we're not aware of and to actually think of, you know, the easiest strategy to combat this. But let me just put it to you this way. And this is the worst part that you know, when people, even people don't gain a lot of weight, what they do see is if you were to do a DEXA scan, which is basically an X ray of your body, it gives you segmental data of your bone, your muscle and your fat. The, the most startling thing that you, I typically see on clients faces when they do a scan of their body. These are people who aren't overweight, right? They have, they have the same body mass, let's say in their 40s, as what they think they were in their 20s. But the shocking thing is that if you did an X ray of your body, you may be the same size, you may be the same size, but your body, the tissues are completely different. Your muscles have shrunk and it's been replaced mostly by body fat and your bone mass have declined. And you don't know that until you do such a scan. And so the second thing I would definitely recommend people to Think about is to start tracking, you know, bone mass, muscle mass, body fat in a very precise way. Every year, just like we go and do a general checkup with our physician, we go and look at our blood lipids with blood pressure glucose. These are just a sort of a general panel that we should do. What you should add to that panel is, is a DEXA scan that's going to show you your muscle mass, your body fat, and also your bone mass. And every year, you should see if that's going in the right direction. And a DEXA scan is how you do that. Then the easiest thing you do to actually help with that is two things. Number one, make sure you don't eat an excess. You can be on any diet you want, but don't eat an excess of the calories that you need. This doesn't mean you have to count calories, but you do. If you are carrying excess weight, you've been in an anabolically dominant metabolic state, period. Number two is find some kind of strength training protocol that you like, not just running, not just stretching, some kind of a activity that really challenges the muscles in a way that will obviously build them back up and obviously strengthen them. So those will be the three things that, you know, if people left right now, those are just the things that I would love for people to be aware of. And also, that's basically gonna, you know, allow Ajit to tell us more about the. How to build the actual habits around sustaining those changes.
Thank you so much, Lorenzo. Hello, everyone. Good morning, good afternoon, good evening. For some of you who've been coming in from different parts of the world. Now, I want to share with you, you came in here today because you were interested in your health, you were interested in your wellbeing. You said yes to this particular event because you were like, hey, Mindvalley is one of those leading companies that brings the most advance technologies to the world around personal transformation. You said yes to this webinar because you said, I'm curious about this 10x protocol, this 10x certification protocol. And what we've been doing until now is we've been demonstrating to you how this protocol seems a little bit of a work of a genius because it is so counterintuitive to everything that you may hear in the outside world. It sounds so counterintuitive to everything that has been said again and again about health and wellbeing. So, you see, the world has changed. And you must have experienced in the last few years especially, that the world has changed around you. A lot of things have evolved. We have learned so much from society. We've learned so much from research, and we are constantly learning more and more things. And with all that research, all that change, we must, as human beings, adapt to that change. We can keep believing what we believe 10 years ago, 20 years ago, because at that time, you were to work hard for 20 hours a week in the gym to have a good body. Nobody has 20 hours to go to the gym to have a good body. You know, like now we have no time. We are connected. We have beautiful individuals that are getting to experience a whole holistic life. And so we want to find more optimized things. We've optimized every area of our life. Why not optimize health? You see, the change you are experiencing around you is also the change pretty much every human is experiencing around them. If you find yourself having more resources but still kind of not having more time, well, that's the truth of the world. If you find yourself wanting that help, that body, but feeling like you're constantly getting wrong information, well, the world feels the same. And that is where we step in. We as mindvalley have made conscious effort to bring the best technologies of personal transformation to you. One of them happens to be 10x, and we've introduced that as a quest. But what we said and we found is while you can, yes, do a protocol by yourself, by becoming a mindvalley member, what we found is it becomes significantly more powerful. If you understand how that protocol is built, if you understand what are the foundation blocks and how to adapt that protocol and add other elements on top of it that would give you total fitness. You see, I like Vishen, like Lorenzo, at one point in our lives were at a stage where we were struggling, literally. This is a thing that my wife used to call me or called me a couple of days ago. I said, when I. When I married you, you were a Pillsbury Doughboy, which really was an affectionate way of saying, hey, you were kind of like out of shape. And frankly, now I am a lot more in shape. I am on my journey to find the best version, the fittest version of myself. And I've been able to do the same using the great case studies that you already heard of, Vishen, and you'll hear of many of the students that we'll talk about during this presentation. What I want to invite you today is to challenge yourself a little bit and ask yourself a question of would you like to learn and understand how this is done, and would you like to make a career out of it you see what we are finding increasingly, and you may have heard this already in the grapevine, you may have even been exposed to it, you may yourself be a trainer or a coach of some sort, is that as society evolves, as we get wealthier, as society overall, as we get more abundant, as more systems come into place, we have more and more time to self actualize. All of us are looking for more, better optimized things in our lives. Which is why we've seen rise of apps like UberEats or DoorDash. Right? Because we optimize our time, we are optimizing our resources, we are getting better and better as humanity. And as you get better and better as humanity, you're looking for optimal ways and you're looking for the right coaches, the right trainers, right therapists, people who you can work with to create the greatest results of your life, right? And this is where health and wellbeing is projected to or the coaching industry around health and wellbeing is projected to increase by five times over the next five years. The five times growth is expected in the next five years for health and wellbeing industry. And that brings our attention to saying we could train more people to just do those exhaustive workouts that lead to nothing or we can create more optimized protocols that actually helps humanity. And this is where 10x coaching certification comes in from Mindvalley. I want to introduce you to the certification because a lot of you have been asking about hey, what is the how can I learn this right? I know you guys are presenting amazing information, but how is it that I can actually bring it to my life? Well, we have made it easy for you by becoming a mindfully certified 10x coach. You'll be learning that protocol, learning that program from Lorenzo directly and coaching elements of it from me. My name is Ajit Navalkar. I am a coach and I've been a coach for several years. I've co founded a coaching company with Mindvalley. We coach individuals and we also create coach training programs. We have certified about 7,000 people over the past year and a half and with great reviews and we are probably one of the highest rated programs around coach training in the industry right now and also probably is the highest volume as well. So what is Mindvalley certified 10x coach? Well, this particular program is for you if you want to learn the skill of facilitating impactful health and fitness transformation for yourself, for your loved ones and also for people around you, for humanity at large. If you want to step into a new career full time or part time as something that rewards you with wealth and peak fitness for yourself. If you're a coach or fitness trainer who wants to upgrade your skills because you know the techniques that you learned several years ago are jaded and not productive anymore. If you want to make a bigger positive impact on society through your work, this would be an interesting presentation for you going forward. The old model that you have been taught or you've heard about is where it's the long workout with little results. Exhaust yourself, feel really tired and finished after, after you've done a workout. And all of those things were working when we didn't know any better. But as fitness science has evolved, now we know the new 10x coaching methodology gives you proven and tested results. The short 20 minute workouts, it's a simple model that you can take your client through virtually or physically. When you're present with them. It really shifts your mindset, which is probably the first step to creating a body change is to shift your mind and how you think about something which is where you're challenged right now. You're challenged to think about fitness in a different way. This may be an idea. You're like, hold on, 20 minutes. That's all it takes. I've been spending hours and hours, my trainer tells me I need to do more. Right. It's a counterintuitive but more profound approach. It needs you to shift your mindset and gain valuable coaching skills. Because when you are in it, when you're in it for yourself and you're in it with your family, when you're in it with your clients, you need those coaching skills to uplift your people around you so they can really lean into what is happening for them, so they can really lean into change that is happening for them. You'll master one of the most powerful professional skills that is there right now. You see, one of the skills of the future is the skill of coaching, the skill of transformation. And if you can learn that skill, you will be more adaptive to society. It's a 16, 14 month coaching certification program. It's all done online so you can do it on from the comfort of your home. Your time commitment overall to the program is about three hours a week and you will be doing about 48 hours of total training and you will be doing some practice within the group. So we, we not only show you what you need to do for yourself, we don't only answer all your questions that may be related to the program, we also give you an opportunity to practice with colleagues, with people who are learning the same protocol with you. You see, you'll be able to facilitate wide range of personal transformation in yourself and in others. You'll see rapid and permanent body transformation. Because once you gain muscle, you'll find that that muscle stays for a long time with you and it keeps getting better and better as you keep doing the protocol. You will rewire your own mind and people around you around health and fitness. You will learn how to optimize it. You will find that as you gain more muscle, you start to not. You start to see the benefits of and feel like you're aging in reverse. You will see the transformation actually happening in your body. You'll find that you will also be able to understand what is optimal nutrition for you, what is the right amount of calories, what is not the right amount of calories. You will be able to understand it. When we understand something, it makes it much more possible for us to actually implement it in our lives. Sometimes we feel like I've tried all the foods and the diets and the and the things that people tell me. But because we don't understand it, we just hear it from someone. We tend to not be able to embody it. We tend to not be able to bring it to our lives. Versus if you understand something, you can embody it much easily. You can bring it to your life much easily. You'll be able to see that your metabolism will boost, you'll find more productivity in your life. You'll find that you are a lot more confident, you have a lot more self esteem about yourself because of how your body is operating, how it's moving now. You will learn how to master several coaching models so you can operate in any circumstance and be able to impact somebody's life through some basic fundamental coaching skills. You will find, attract and retain higher level of energies. You'll grow your coaching business, you'll be able to work with better clients and you will experience weight loss and weight management or an extended period of time. Me being one of the case studies of a person that was overweight for most of his life to being an optimal weight now and I know for the future as well, thanks to 10X Now. It's one of the most advanced and effective fitness certification there is. And I say that with confidence because I know what is out there in the marketplace. Usually when we talk about fitness, it's about the long tiring protocols. It is not optimized for an average human being. Somebody who goes to a job, is, goes actually works, has a business, has a career, in life, has life to live, have kids, and are not just spending all day, every day in the gym and thinking like, that's life, that's not life. Life is. This is a physical container that we have and this helps us live our life, which is everything else. Our spiritual, mental, emotional, well being, our relationship capital, all of those things are equally or sometimes even more important. This is condensed information from years and years of work optimizing, testing, optimizing, testing with clients, with himself, with people, with people that we have certified to create the best of the best for you to have the most effective model on fitness and well being. You will find that you will be able to custom design. Once you learn this protocol, once you do the certification, you will understand how things work. And when you understand how things work, you can customize it to yourself. How many times has it happened that you use somebody else's methodology and after a point, it didn't work for you? And that happens not because any other reason, but because it's for somebody else. We show you how 10x is built. We show you the science. We show you how to customize and optimize it for yourself and for your clients in the future. So you learn all of that right? As somebody who does 10x, as somebody who finishes and gains that muscle and sees their body transform over a short burst of time, almost immediately, you'll find that you will be a lot more confident as a person and you will be also very, very prepared to go out in the world and actually be able to show this to your family, to your loved ones, to your clients. You'll see your current set of skills are going to go up. And let me demonstrate to you that by not just saying impact that is on Vision's life or Lorenzo's life or my life. And people were involved in the project's life. Of course, our lives are completely transformed. But you may wonder, well, do people who join this program have a transformation in their lives? Tons of them, hundreds of them, thousands of them at this point who have changed their lives through 10x protocol or 10x certification. Here are some of them just to kind of highlight. Okay, so this is a gentleman, Luis, from Mexico. At 52, he says, I've never felt this strong and this good. This is Elia. He says, before I got to do this amazing certification, I was dealing with a lot of issues about my health and especially in exercise. And he is a completely transformed individual. This is Claudia from Switzerland. She says, the reason why I enrolled in the certification was that finally I wanted to Sustainably. There's the key word, sustainably. Improve my health and fitness. Not something that will only last next week or next couple of weeks, next couple of ones because you are motivated for it. But it's a sustainable practice. You can always find 20 minutes in a week or 40 minutes in a week to go to the gym or do a home workout. It's hard to find three hours, four hours every single week for rest of your life. You can find 20 minutes every couple of days very easily in your life and fit it into your schedule. And that's why it's sustainable. It's not just this. We could make it more complex, we could make it more hard, but that's not what you need. That's not most of us need in our lives. This is Jen, then Tino. I hope I'm saying his name right. The certification took me from a state of pain to a state of high energy vibration and frequency. And that's so true because don't our physical bodies contain that energy, that vibration, that soul that you have? Right. This is where all our emotions stay. This is our physical manifestation. And when we don't take care of that and we can't take care of that, everything else is kind of like falls apart. But what if you could have the, the best version of the body that you could have as quickly, with most effectiveness, you would have higher energy, you would be vibrating at a higher level, you will be operating from a higher frequency and you also get to impact lives. This is Susan. She talks about. The results are obvious and it is a joy to see how many people I can share this with. This is Maria. She says thanks to this program I can help clients all over the world. Because you could do 10x, not just by being with a person in the gym, you can do it virtually. And that's the beauty of the program, that it is so accessible, it's so effective and it's so easy to bring it to the world. What you will learn. The first month, we are going to focus on fundamentals of coaching because you have to. Whenever you're changing somebody's body, you need to know how to work with their mind as well. So that's our first focus. We train you how to coach a person when they're struggling, when they're feeling defeated, when they're feeling like they can't make progress and so forth. One, two is going to be fundamentals of 10x coaching. Month three is going to be mastering the 10x method and diagnostics and much more. You'll be Starting to see transforming bodies and lies at 10x. We've seen in about week six, week seven, people already start training clients. They already start working with clients. That's how quick it is. Once you understand the fundamentals of 10x and you can build from there. How does it work? Well, it's very simple. It's easy to follow. Weekly training. Every single week you get a training. This is about 60, 90 minutes of a video lesson that you watch. Then you get to a live classroom where you interact with me or Lorenzo, depending on the module that you're studying, where you get to ask any question that you might have, be able to get those answers directly from us. Then you also get to experience in life with your colleagues, with your, with your partners inside the program who are taking the certification as well. You get to work with them, talk to them and be supported by them. As you are learning this new protocol in the depths that you are learning it in, you also get every, every module. You have to track your progress which says have you learned what you said you're going to learn. And you get to get to evaluate yourself against that protocol and get to evaluate yourself to see if you made that progress. This is, this is profound for you to kind of track your progress on this program. And that's not all. What happens is once you've finished your certification, you get listed on the Mindvalley website as one of our 10x coaches. You have to finish a certification to be able to do that. Not just join it, but finish it. And as you finish it, we start recommending you to people around your city, your area as you, as you are a 10x certified coach, if anybody's looking for one. Right? So, so that you get listed on the mindvalley website which allows you to have a profile on, on a, on a known website, on a known brand. We also help you if you want to pursue this as a side career or a full time career. We give you our best quest, our highest rated quest around starting and building your coaching businesses. So.
Which is amazing. So let me summarize it really quickly. You get a 16 week Mindvalley 10X certification coaching program. You get weekly live classrooms, you get coaching labs. You get official Mindvalley certified 10x coach. You get your profile on the Mindvalley website. You get to add, you get added to the find a coach platform. You get invited to the Mindvalley Supercoach experience. You get your grow your business package. You, you also get live online business training event. The total value of this would be somewhere around $35,500. This is Mindvalley. We believe in creating impact in the most affordable way that we possibly can because we are a large company, so we can do this. And so your investment is only going to be 2,499 for this four month certification program. So it's not like a regular program. This is very intense and deep where you really get to master a skill. Now you would be able to make this investment back almost immediately by your personal transformation. A simple way to visualize this is if you were about 50% more productive than you are today. So let's say you have a job, you're 50% more productive. You can finish a job faster, you're 50% more creative, you have 50% more energy. Would you see your income going up by 50%? Right? At least 30%. Well, that's where your immediate return sits. If you're making a hundred thousand a year, if you're making a 50,000 a year, if you made 30% more, you would have made an additional. You would have made your money back within the first year of investment of the program simply by changing your state and getting a health protocol that elevates you for life. Right? So this is a one time investment that actually reaps benefits for your entire life. But let's say you're like, hey listen, I get that energetically I will make three times the money or two times the money over the course of my life or God knows how much time the money. But what, what if I want to start a career? Well, like I mentioned, health and coaching is health and wellbeing as an industry has been rising and will continue to rise because we are becoming more and more and more aware of our health. I mean look at yourself. You are here, you are right now committed to this presentation because you are interested in saying, hey, I want to live a better life. I want to help people live a better life. This is a trend that is happening globally and will continue to happen. And so you are likely to find a lot of opportunity to become a 10x coach and be able to create income as a consequence of that. Now I know some of you may be going, hey, 2500 bucks is a lot for me, so don't worry about it. We've created simple payment plans. You have a seven month payment plan where you're only paying $399 a month for seven months. So it allows you to have that time to be able to find that investment and be able to make that every month so you can still enroll in the program. Now today all you're deciding to do is to deposit $200. That's all you're really deciding. So go ahead to go.mycom10xrt or my team must have posted a link at this point. You can go to that link and check out for $200. That's all the deposit is. And that deposit will send you an application form. This application form is mostly there so we can make sure this community, that container that we create is legitimate is people who are genuinely interested. They don't have any false expectations out of it. We just want to make sure that we honor every single person that is in the community. So we curate it. And so that's, that's why you do the $200 deposit. You do a quick application form and then you get the option to either do a payment plan 399 for seven months or you get a payment plan or a single single payment for the balance of 2,299. Right. So it's $200 is credited towards your final payment of 2500. So just know that cool. Applications are open till 21st of December. So that's about nine days from now the applications close. The class starts on the 2nd of January. So you don't have to worry hey, it's over Christmas. I may not be able to attend the class. It's over New Year's. I may not be able to attend the class. Don't worry about it. We are going to start the class on January 2, 2023. So you have ample time to, to kind of, you know, get ready for that as well. It's completely risk free, which means from the date of starting of the class, you have 15 days to kind of make your final decision and see if this program is right for you. And if not, well, you have the mindvalley guarantee where we'll refund your. Your money. If you have any questions, we'll be taking that now. Please use the Q and A section to ask your questions because otherwise in the chat gets all messy and we can't really track the question that you're asking. So please use Q and A. And again, if you're ready, which I think most of you are, go to go.mindlife.com 10x cert. And we'll be taking on questions pretty, pretty soon. Lorenzo, if you could come back on as well so you could help me take on any questions and if there's anything specific to address for anyone or any closing note, we could, we could do that to start with. All right, so there's some initial questions that, that have already come in, which, which may be, hey, do I need equipment at home? Vishen, do you want to have some closing thoughts before.
Yes, absolutely.
Questions?
Absolutely. So Mindvalley certifications now trains in the past one year close to 7,000 coaches. Ajit is now true our partnership in Mindvalley become one of the foremost trainers of coaches everywhere. So I just want to let you know that I'm really proud of both of these teachers. I always try to find the best te onto our platform. And when it comes to optimizing the human body in terms of muscle growth, it is Lorenzo. And when it comes to training coaches to be successful, it is Ajit. And so you're really learning from two of the best. I wanted to state that one of the most beautiful things about this program is that as you go through the 16 week training, you learn so much about understanding the human body. Your metabolism, muscular growth, longevity principles that you go through a radical transformation of your own. And I want to make sure you guys understand this. You are literally going through such a deep radical transformation that the end of 16 weeks, you have a different body, you are a different human being, your cognition is sharper because studies show that as you put on muscle and shed Fat, your brain gets healthier, you have better focus, your cognition is sharper. You have more confidence because you look and fit better in the clothes that you've dreamed about wearing. And I know all of this because I went through this transformation. For me, being having a body at 40 where I was ashamed to take my shirt off at a beach and then having a body that I'm proud of was a huge confidence boost. Many of you don't notice about me, but I didn't actually start appearing in social media until June of 2018. That was the day I did my first ever Instagram post for the public. And the reason was because I suddenly had confidence again. Look back 2016, 2017, I was not in social media. You hardly saw vision. There were other mindvalley authors that were way big, but I wasn't the spokesman, the person in front of the camera that I am today, because I just didn't feel like I had what it took. There's a huge confidence boost that you have when you finally are able to take your help back in your control. And this gets you there in 16 weeks. And that's why this program, I think, is such an incredible thing. But the best part is it's also a way where you can earn passive income because now you can train other people. You can go to your local gym, and you don't have to train one on one. In today's world, you can get a hundred people learning from you by training them using WhatsApp groups or Telegram groups. So there are so many different ways you can turn this into a way where you can transform your life and career. I know Bianca is on this call. Bianca, how much do you make per client right now as a coach, are you able to share as a 10x coach?
As a 10x coach.
Turn on the camera B so we can see you if you're able to.
Yeah. So, hello, guys. So it's depending on the area that the person is, but usually it's between 100 and $150 per hour.
Yeah, 100, $150 per hour. So that's really, really, really good income, right? 100 to 150 bucks per hour that you work, and that's what makes this exciting. And of course, it's a payment plan. So you're not, you're not. You're funding your education over seven months. So back to you guys. Ajit, Lorenzo.
Thank you, Vishen. So I'm seeing some questions come in and I think they're pretty interesting, some of them. So, for example, the first Question that, that I want to, want to address, and I think we can address in both ways, is there's a person that's asking, hey, what if I am, I have a tiny frame, does this work for me? Let's answer for both as, as in if I have a tiny frame or I am a little bit overweight. So does this work for me? Yeah.
So I love this question because, you know, when we see hard gainers go through this program, we are, they are the most surprised because they feel, you know, when you're a hard gainer, a hard gainer is someone who actually struggles to actually pick up weight, you know, you know, some people wish they had that problem instead of trying to lose weight, right? But yes, even people who struggle to pick up weight find that they, they will pick up very similar levels of muscle mass between three and five kilos of muscle mass within three months if they follow the protocol very precisely. Now, it absolutely matters that when you do the program, when you do your one workout or two workouts per week, that you do it with maximum effort in the way that we instruct you to do it, you know, with your community, with your friends. But yes, you will definitely see similar levels of muscle mass growth. But more importantly, the question we should be asking ourselves is, it's not how much muscle mass can I build, it's what will I be able to do once I have that muscle mass? Because, number one, we want to look good, but also we want to be strong. We want to be able to increase our functional ability so that we can translate that to many different other activities. So the short answer is absolutely. And the more hard gainers, the better. We, we actually love edge cases. An edge case is when you have people who believe they can't, no matter what you do, they can't win. No matter what diet they go on, they can't lose the fat. No matter what muscle, no matter what program they go on, they feel like. In fact, if there's anyone in the audience who feels like, you know, no matter what I do, everyone else seems to get results except me. We love those cases because we work with you very closely and we show you the fundamental tweaks you need to make or the small things that you need to stop doing so that you don't get in your own way for actually getting results that you've always wanted. And specifically with a certification. Remember, there's two types of transformations going on here. Two types of transformations. Your own personal transformation where you pick up, where you double your strength, you'll Pick up muscle mass. You'll even lose body fat, 2 to 3 kilos. That's your personal transformation. You'll also learn how to master these protocols in a home environment and at the gym, so that you can always do it at any time. So you don't always need a gym to even do this type of training. So you master two workouts that take 50 minutes each to be able to do anywhere. That's your personal transformation. So even if you just learn that you are, you already get your money's worth. You know, Ajit, you said something the other day which I absolutely loved because it is so true. And it's the timeline effect. Like Ajit, you want to explain to people that that timeline effect?
Yeah, absolutely. So the timeline effect really talks about how a lot of the times we, we create this hypothesis because, you know, it's end of the year, people go, okay, end of next year I'm going to be this. Or in six months I'll have six packages. And what happens then is when you set up a timeline like that, you create frustration in your life because in the moment when you're not making that progress or you initially looking at that progress and going, well, I don't know if I'm really getting there or not, you get frustrated. But if you really contextualize anything to context of life, let's say if you are 40 years old or 50 years old right now, you're likely to live at at least until 80, maybe even 100, very likely until 100 as medicine and health and well being has progressed. And if you do protocols like 10x right? So if you're lived for 100, you're about 50 years left. It may take you four months, it may take you six months, it may take you even two years to get the results that you want. But in context of 50 years, it's nothing. Right? So yes, if you start from a baseline where it may be, you know, like you've been like, I was overweight all my life, ever since I was not, not a child. But in my, from my teen onwards, it was all my own issues where of self worth and so forth and the environment that I grew up in. And so I was always overweight. But once I made commitment in the last year and a half since I've really engaged in this and I've done the 10x certification myself to understand what my body responds to, I have changed my body completely. And if you were to watch even my videos from when I was two years ago versus where I am today, I look different, I feel different, my energy is different, my beingness is different, my relationships are different, my time with my kids is different. It's very, very different. And I know this is the investment I'm making not for just next four months, I'm making it for the next 40 years. Because I'm going to reap benefits of what I'm doing right now. Not just now, but for years and years to come. So I think everything that we make it so in the moment, you know, because we are so trained for it, go to schools and colleges and everything is a semester or a year. And so you're so trained and wired to think, oh, everything must happen this or I'm a failure. That's not how life works. Life is much more expanded, much more extended. And learning a skill like 10x, understanding it, not just learning like knowing the protocol, but actually knowing why it works. Understand the science and the. It's like a LEGO brick, right? If you know how the LEGO is built, you can build it as many times as you want as the way you want. You can build different things with it. So that's why you want to build a deep understanding. And that's where I feel our timeline effect kind of dissipates because suddenly you go, okay, I'm not learning this for next two months, six months for the next summer. I'm learning this as a skill for life because it's going to keep reaping benefits as the time passes. So the benefits actually compound on top of each other. It's almost like investing in an S and P or investing in a mutual fund, depending on wherever you are in the world. Different kind of investment strategies. You don't want to invest so that you can make money in six months because you're not gonna. But if you invest it for 20 years or you're going to reap benefits because it's compound interest, it's one of the most powerful things in finances and definitely one of the most powerful things in health and well being.
Yeah.
And I would even add, you know, the fact that people forget this is a longevity strength training protocol. It's built so that you can do it for the rest of your life. In fact, people think, oh, why only train once a week? Any, any bodybuilder from the 50s, 60s, the big guys, they all only train now in their later stages of life, they only train twice a week. I'm going to repeat that. People, young people, athletes, we need not, we shouldn't be comparing ourselves with how athletes train unless we are Athletes and that's the kind of level of results we want. But follow anyone from. If you're not an athlete and you're older than 40 or 50 and 60, even people who stay fit, even people who are really strong, they still only train twice a week because it's something they can sustain. So if you're interested in getting the maximum muscle mass and the maximum strength in the shortest period of time, for short. Yeah. And. And then go on to the next program, this is not for you. Because we're now speaking to people who want to be able to learn a protocol that you can do for the rest of your life once a week. This is what's going to allow you. Now, why, why do we say once or twice? We. Why do we say longevity? Remember, if we're going to lose five kilos of muscle mass throughout our lifespan.
Right.
Five kilos of muscle mass that we may lose throughout our lifespan. It's more for some, less for others. Imagine you can reverse 5kg of muscle that you've already lost and do one workout once per week to keep your muscle mass steady and your strength steady throughout the lifespan. This is what we're going to be teaching you. This is the transformation that you'll be going through. But the second category of transformation that I was talking about is not the one not for yourself, but it's the skill set so that you can do it for other people is to become a good coach, not a fitness coach, just to be a good teacher and coach in general. We go through seven specific skills. We teach you seven skills that make a great teacher or coach or expert in any field. We focus specifically on an exercise longevity exercise protocol. But these seven skills that you learn, they extrapolate to any other life domain. The seven skills are you're going to learn how. The first category that you teach people is called communications. This is where we actually teach you how to influence, become more persuasive in sales, whether that's in business coaching or life coaching or whatever. But specifically we put it in a fitness context. You learn how to do what we call diagnostics. Diagnostics is the missing key right now is the missing ingredient in all personal trainers worldwide. Personal trainers aren't holding themselves or their clients accountable, meaning they don't do the right kind of testing and diagnostic to keep themselves accountable. The kind of accountability that you need is to be able to do a scan, a test, a strength test and a scan on your body that gives you results, to know where you are so that when after three months or six Months. You know, you look at a comparison report and if there's no improvement, your trainer has some explanation to do. Right. But if you know how to do the right kinds of tests, then you don't have to take my word for it. You don't have to take Ajit's word for it. You don't have to take Vishen's word for it.
It.
You can just look at the scans that we tell you to get.
You.
You do the tests we tell you to do, you do, you follow the program with the community and supporting you, and then you retest at the end. The retesting is the most exciting. This is where you do a scan in the beginning and a scan at the end, a fitness test in the beginning and a fitness test at the end. This is where we're going to be pushing your coaching skills at the same time, where you think you are right now and where you think that you should be. Now remember, there's a quote that I love very, very much, and it's something I hope I remind myself every single day. And that is we never rise to the level of expectations. We only fall to the level of our training. So inside our minds, we think we're so much smarter and wiser and more skilled than we when we are until we have to perform. It's when we perform where we see where we're really at. And when we see where we're really at compared to where we think we are, closing that gap becomes a lot simpler. But you have, we have to stay honest. And so this is kind of the skill sets that we're going to be teaching you guys by diagnostics is learning how to do the right tests, how.
To generate a few questions that have come in. And I know you're really passionate about it and I would love for you to continue to talk, but I have a few more questions. Have you maybe 20 more minutes? We've kept. These people are really excited about joining us in the program. I want to be able to answer as many questions before we run out of time for them. And so just honoring that, not, not intending to stop you here at all. One of the questions.
I'll go for hours.
Yeah, I know. And you're so passionate, which is why I love. That is why I'm so inviting everyone to look at this man's passion. And this is the passion that you get every single week working with him on this. And you get such a breadth of knowledge, just beautiful. But I know you have questions and I want to address them so Some of the individuals have asked, hey, listen, I don't want to coach. I want to just do this for myself or I want to work with someone that can do it for them where I can get this experience for myself. And I want to bring your attention to about our program. We surveyed our last group of individuals who certified as 10x coaches, and we asked them, hey, why did you join the program? What is the big reason why you committed to this program? And 60% of them said they did it because they knew the benefit they will have for themselves. They didn't want to coach. They didn't want to go out in the world and help other people. They wanted to help their family. They wanted to help their friends. They wanted to show and demonstrate what's possible for a human body by first doing it for themselves and then demonstrate it to their family and friends so they can all live an elevated life. So it's perfectly okay if you don't want to coach. This is like I said, it's like understanding why things work. And once you understand it, you can customize it to your needs. You can see what works for you. You can change and adapt based on your understanding of things, which is even more beneficial than any other format. Another question that Lorenzo, I would love for you to address is some lot of individuals have asked, hey, listen, I'm a female. A lot of the protocols that we have seen in the world are working for men or designed around men. Does 10x work for women? Does 10x work for women on menopause?
Yes. So I love the question I'm going to ask. I'm going to ask a question right back. Is there anyone in the audience that doesn't only want to build strength and muscle mass, but they have. They want to lose some body fat? Do you want to understand how exercise relates to menopause? You want to understand how to optimize hormonal health as a female? If that is you, then you are in luck because we have Helena Luckich, who is a expert on fat loss and prescribing exercise around menopause and hormonal health for women. And she's going to be joining us in certification. So it'll be me and it'll be Elena. And so if you have struggled to lose weight and fat, specifically you, you might be more excited about losing fat than it is gaining muscle and, you know, strength on this journey because we focus on all of them. We focus on all of those different outcomes. And just quickly, something I wanted to add to what you just said, Ajit and that was.
Okay. Can this be done for themselves? Is that what you're. Is that what you're trying to add?
Yes. Thank you. See, that's why we make such a great team. So here's what you guys should understand. Don't think certification as a coach. Think certification in the following way. Did you guys know that certification gives people higher success rates in achieving or finishing a program and achieving the results that the program promises? So, for example, let's say you had two programs. You had a program that's going to teach you a certain method, but then you had the certification on the same method. People. Now, the industry is showing us that people who actually take the certification and just skip the basic program get a much bigger result just by going straight to the certification. Because why? Because the accountability is so high in order for you to become a coach. The accountability is so high that we make sure that you push through not to become a coach necessarily, but the accountability and the pressure is so high to learn these skills that if you wanted to coach other people, you have those skills, but it's actually more about your own personal transformation. And that is why we see such a high success rate and completion rates in certifications versus programs of the same kind. Isn't that true, Ajit?
So, so true. Another question that is being asked again, again, is what is the equipment that we need? So if you could address that.
Yeah, so for me, asking about what equipment you need sometimes is, you know, like a financial question would be like, you know, in order for me to save and make money, do I need a bank account? And it's not directly related, but it's very similar. You know, sometimes we. We let small little barriers stop us in making, you know, decisions that could change our lives. So if you wanted to save money, you absolutely need a bank account, right? You need some basic vehicle in order to do that for exercise. It's going to be the same. The equipment that you need is minimal. We're talking about a hundred dollars. And this will be equipment that you won't just use for 10x, but it's for. That's equipment that you'll get that you can use for any other exercise protocol that you.
Yeah, I spent about. I spent about 50 bucks because. Because we. We. We created 10x. As we were creating 10x, the pandemic hit, and all of a sudden gyms everywhere were closed. And so we modified the protocols and developed models where you can use devices which are in your home. You literally, like, learn to use your dining table. You learn to use your door frame. I spend 50 bucks on the equipment, the equipment that you saw me training with my daughter and my son. 50 bucks was the total cost. But of course, if you have a gym, you're going to get slightly better gains.
Yeah. So we give you a list of a budget, a spectrum, like 50 bucks all the way to like 300. And it's up to you how much you want to spend. You're going to get the same result at home, but like Vishen said, going to the gym is the best experience ever. But guess what, guess what, ladies and gentlemen, we actually all start out in the comfort of our own home. For the first six weeks of the certification, you're at home and you're learning how to do it in your own private space. Because then after six weeks, you gain the confidence to actually step into the gym and, you know, crush it. Not just in terms of execution of the movements, but in terms of knowledge of the exercise and the science behind hypertrophy as well.
Thank you so much, Lorenzo. Well, I just want to remind everyone that is here now, like there is something that's keeping you here. You came here to join something or discover something that is new, that can benefit your health overall for a long period of time. And that's what you've gotten today. You've learned the mechanism, the science behind it, how we developed it, what we developed and how you could become an expert, a master of your own health and also help people around you, your loved ones, and also people that may be extensions, the people who are your relatives, people who you care for, your friends. Or you could make a side or part time career or a full time career out of it. Now economics would change. Sometimes you would be like, hey, this is a lot of money. Well, use the payment plan. Sometimes you may wonder, how will I make my money back? Look at it rationally and go, okay, I can look at it rationally. See how, where am I making, what am I making right now? And what would it look like if I made 30% more more? And would that really suffice or fulfill my needs of being able to say yes to this program? Remember, we create these programs to be able to be most accessible. If you went out in the world right now and tried to do a health coaching program or a well being coaching program, you'll probably end up spending anywhere from 10 to $18,000. That's kind of the price. And it's a, it's a fair price in many ways because you're getting education to start and live and build a whole career. So it's not unreasonable for somebody to want to charge you 8 or 10 or to $18,000 to do those kind of programs. It's like going to university in a way without really the hundreds of thousands of dollars that you'll end up paying if you go to university. But that's where we said, okay, what we can do as mindvalley is we can really reduce the cost overall for everyone. So what you're experiencing, what you're seeing right now is an incredibly low price for what is going to be delivered to you. It's an incredibly reasonable price. It is adjusted and considered for the, for the economy. It's that, that's why we don't have increasing prices. We really, really consider every single person with the quality of training, with the quality outcome that you're going to get. So if you're here, if you have. Thank you so much for everybody who's acknowledging that this is amazingly reasonable because it's. If you research five seconds or more, you will find out that it is in incredibly reasonable what we have put out here. And it is because we know what it does for you and I know what it does for society. And that's what is important to us, is impact that it makes out in the world when people know the most optimized way of living the best life they can. With that, I would invite Vishen and Lorenzo to share any closing notes that we might have for, for our friends here who are still listening and want to make that final decision now. Lorenzo?
Yeah, so, yeah, so, so as a said, we start on the 2nd of December and we're so lucky. In fact, I was so happy that, you know, when Vishen and Ajit called me, they said, hey, we want to launch a program the beginning of the year. I was like, absolutely. Because this is, you know, there's nothing like the energy of a newest resolution to really not just take that energy, but really have that transformation occur, but also then have the skill sets to maintain that transformation for the rest of your life. And we show you what that looks like now is that time. 2023 is really going to be the year where, you know, we take the responsibility necessary to, you know, on our own bodies to make the changes we need to, to basically experience what we deserve in terms of our functional ability, our esthetics, and also to adopt the skill sets will allow us to also expand our income in the coming year. So I just want to say that if you guys are still here, we're super excited to have you guys start with us in the 2nd of December and the very first week is exciting. We even immediately we start doing some tests. You guys will guide you in doing the right tests from day one so you get a sort of a screenshot, a snapshot of where you're at in your life right now when it comes to your body. And then we start, you know, generating your own personal plan from there. So just excited to see you guys there and if you guys have any other questions, we will have another opportunity to answer them at another time. But that's all I wanted to say and I think Vishen, if you're still here, maybe you want to base tell people about what they will experience by the end of the certification.
Okay, we're gonna, I think, I think we're gonna vision had had again. Like, like you all know we all love living holistic lives. Vision had to go and, and meet his kids and hang out with them at 7:30 in the evening for him. Thank you so much everyone for joining us today. I'm really looking forward to see most of you, all of you joining us in the 10x certification is one of those things that have transformed my life and many other people's lives. And we would love for you to be our partner in changing lives in the world and starting with changing your own life. Thank you very much.
Yeah, and one more thing guys, for some of you who had questions on, you know, what the material may look like. So when you finish this call, feel free to Google me, go to YouTube, go to Lorenzo Delano and watch some of my presentations because those are, the presentations are even way better than the ones that are on our YouTube channel. These are some videos that we put together for mindvalley and we're so proud of them and it gives you a lot of cool information. But if you like some of the presentations that we shared there and that's exactly what you can expect and more in the actual certification. So go free, go ahead and actually go and peruse those and make sure to come back and we'll see you then on the 2nd of, not December, sorry, January for the next cohort of the certification. And remember, I think we only do this once a year. Is ajit, you still there? We only do this once a year, right?
Yes, I am here. Yes, we only do this once a year.
Amazing. Thanks guys.
All right guys, thank you so much for joining us today. We are at the end of this session. For those of you that didn't get the link for signing it, signing up. I'm posting it right now in the chat and hope to see.
