A short spoken monologue (YouTube Shorts) by Vishen Lakhiani arguing that nothing in the material world exists independently: individuals arise from prior causes (parents, lineage), and failing to perceive this interconnectedness creates the delusion of an independent self. The clip’s main claim: “There is no independent you.”

So he said, if you understood that there is nothing in the world, nothing here in this material world that exists independently, you did not come here independently. You came from your fucked up parents and then they from theirs, and the legacy continues.
