I look forward to taking this journey with you. This mission of helping entrepreneurs is down in my soul. This overall question that I chose to really dedicate my life to was why do so many startup but so few scale up? In fact, there's over 11,000 startups every hour in the world. Look, we're not hurting for new companies and in fact, in the United States, 76% of those companies are run by a solopreneur. And so I wanted to take this question of why so few scale and figure out how we were going to solve this problem. I launched an organization called yeo, the Young Entrepreneurs Organization. And it happened to be an evening when I hosted Steve after his first public speech after being fired from Apple in 86. I hosted him to share that story. And what was interesting, I had Michael Dell and Mark Cuban and Kevin Harrington and Neil Balter with California Closets, all of them sitting there next to Steve. And after giving his speech, I thought, hey, let me throw him a party. And I was surprised Steve came and yet he was kind of standing alone over in the corner. And at that moment it dawned on me, it's okay to be independent, but no reason to be alone. And that's why that evening I launched the Young Entrepreneurs Organization. And that's why we formed this tribe to help you on this quest to scale up. Now look, there is a mindset, a growth mindset and four decisions, people, strategy, execution and cash that you've got to get right. And there are right and wrong answers that are critical if you're going to be able to scale successfully. You are the first responders of our global and local economies.
