The cause of all infidelity & heartbreaks

Evolution is utterly amoral. All evolution cares about is propagating the most robust gene pool possible. That leads to war and rape and conquest. That leads to infidelities. That leads to jealousies. That leads to all of the human condition, from the Greeks and Helen of Troy to Shakespeare to Brangelina to, you know, anything else we see, like all of our heartache and heartbreak, is just a mismatch between our values as people. What we care about, who we care about, why we care, and evolution's relentless grinder of just slamming people together to mix genes and create new hominids. Just realizing that so much of our grief and suffering in the world is derived from we are at odds with evolution's overriding impulse to procreate.
