Conversation from a YouTube video ("This could replace years of Therapy") in which speakers claim modern psychological "technologies" can produce fast therapeutic results. Speaker A asserts hypnotherapy (and NLP as a broader category) is a leading, broadly-applicable modality. They also highlight psychosensory therapies—specifically TFT/tapping and a touch-based technique applied to arms/face—as effective, rapid treatments for PTSD, depression, pain, and emotional overwhelm, contrasting these rapid effects with slower traditional therapy timelines.
We can cure people of things that we couldn't in minutes. That used to take months.
Do you believe that hypnotherapy is the number one choice across the board that can make a difference in somebody's life, regardless what that problem is? You mentioned a few.
Yeah. So hypnotherapy is going to, as, as a sort of a catch all is the number one. But also nlp, Neuro linguistic programming, of which hypnotherapy is an application. But also you have these new psychosensory therapies. There's the TFT tapping technique and the new kid on the block, the touch of the side of the arms and the face and this, which is fantastic at treating ptsd, treating things like depression, pain, emotional overwhelm. And it works astoundingly well real fast as well. So we live in an age now where psychological technology has advanced dramatically. So like you remember back in the 80s, if you had a cell phone, it was like a brick, you know, you'd hold to your ear and all you could do is make calls. And now a smartphone is a supercomputer. You have access to all the information in the world. You know, you can have your office, your music, you know, you can video conference with people. It can run your life in the same way psych tech has made this dramatic advancement in the last sort of 20 years, it's really, you know, got going. So now we can, you know, we can cure people of things that we couldn't in minutes. That used to take months.
